It was one of the most spacious and quiet hostel l had ever seen. The environment was perfect and everything was so clean (is it solely because there was no guy here?). Highly recommend this lovely and warm hostel for all female travelers.
There was not always hot water during the shower. the staff told me that happened when there were many people taking shower before you....... The breakfast was quite plain.
Excellent price/quality ratio
It was the place that i was looking for.trastevere is the heart of city and this hostel just a few min walk away.cleaning is perfect.safe, quiet and has good breakfast.
The hostel has everything you need and the location is perfect. I would definitely come back.
Bed, breakfast inclusive, perfect value for money
Heating in the shower sometimes doesn't work.
Is a really good hostel for women, it is easy to find, close to trastavere Pubs and restaurants also close to vatican. The personell is really friendly they will give you touristic advices and a map. The rooms are simple but fine the bed was confy I traveled in winter the heating and blankets were good. I will try it again. The breakfast is good too.
The wifi didn't work on the rooms
Staff knew a lot about sights and especially on how to get there and directions
Quiet place to stay. The bed is very comfortable. Simple breakfast with really good coffee. The staffs are very nice. They gave a lots of information of the attraction in the city and the suggestions on celebrating the new yearin the city.
The facilities maybe too old. My room door is very difficult to open. The bathroom looks old too. The wifi in the kitchen is not stable and no wifi in the room.
I would book the hostel again if I go to Rome. The room was spacious. Sometimes the wifi near the kitchen doesn't work but who need wifi when there are tons of other travelers to talk to. I felt very safe and at home at the hostel. The staff are very helpful. Thank you for making my trip to Rome a great one. The hostel is a bit far from Termini for walking but quite close to the Vatican City.
Everything in this hostel is near perfection. Location is superb, it´s easy to find, peaceful, safe, really clean, the beds are truly comfortable. Breakfast is included, and it´s great! Not your usual bad coffee/croissant, but plentiful and keeps you going well till lunch. Staff is friendly and always there to help you. Kitchen is good, showers are clean, rental towel is big, white and fluffy. I stayed for a week, and it was heaven. Rome is beautiful, and so is this hostel!
A quiet place in an historic building (with elevator!) and an authentic, scenic & cool Roman neighborhood. Easy walking distance (or transport) to everywhere you'd want to visit. Helpful staff, interesting guests; open kitchen & fridge with espresso & basic breakfast included; inexpensive snack machines, free use of computer/wi-fi; safe, clean and reasonably comfortable with rooms cleaned every day! Maps & bus tix available on premises; airport shuttle makes it easy to get back to airport if you can tear yourself away from Rome.
After my third stay over the years, I think I may be getting a bit old for shared bathrooms and a chilly room in winter (though that was unusual and somewhat remedied by extra blankets). But the excellent price and location, pleasant ambiance, and Paola's knowledgeable, friendly advice will probably draw me back yet again...
spacious dorm rooms, personal storage space (closet, drawers), self-catering kitchen, large and separate shower room, free wi-fi, free baggage deposit, polite staff, dignified atmosphere, clean and comfortable
location is perfect, you don't need any transport to get the main sights, you can go by walk everywhere. Very clean, good value for money. Good breakfast, the kitchen is allowed all day, if you want to make some food. Friendly, helpful staff, very good and easy atmosphere.
everything was perfect! Thanks a lot!
Complete breakfast, extremely helpful and friendly staff. There is a great trattoria just down the road: Sor'eva
Not in central Rome but is easy to access.
I very much enjoyed the atmosphere: being in a hostel with only women is very different from being in a mixed hostel. I was also happy to learn something about the history (the building used to be a women's prison) and that the income from the hostel supports social projects for women. The restaurant is delicious and it's probably wonderful to sit in the courtyard when it's warm weather.
I got terrible bites from unidentified bugs! I was totally unprepared for that and somehow I never thought about using lotion or spray to fend off attackers. The evening of my departure one of the staff mentioned that this is what Romans do and I felt silly for not having thought about that. But when I'd mentioned my problem to many other people, nobody had suggested anything of the sort, including the pharmacist I consulted. I have no idea what kind of bites I had (there were at least 2 different kinds) but they negatively influenced my visit.
Fantastic location, staff were very friendly and provided lots of information on buses and good places to visit etc, facilities were good, would definately stay here again!
I paid for a private room and the only negative thing I could say is that this room did not have a locker or access to a safe to keep personal belongings etc safe. This really wasn't much of an issue for me though as I kept valuable things with me, just have to be mindful of pickpockets when out and about.
everything is great ,staff is friendly and helpful, especially Virginia, thanks for her help!
Love that it is all women, clean, good location and relaxed.
Not enough outlets to recharge. Maybe post some rules to inconsiderate guests not to turn on room lights if coming in after 11:30 and everyone gone to bed or at 4:30 while others still sleeping! Not the hostel's fault but since you have a list of rules anyways, could add this too.
It's a great location in Trastevere, 7 minute walk from piazza santa maria. If you really want to do as the romans do, make sure to explore & eat in trastevere!
The breakfast was better than what you normal get at hostels and hotels in Italy. The personal in the reception was very kind and helpful.
The place needs an allround "make over".
very helpful staff and great location
Value for money, walking distance to tourist attraction.
Hard place to find.
The location was amazing for dinners in Trastevere and for walking to Vatican City. Beds are large and comfortable and the rooms themselves are clean. Breakfast was the best I experienced in an Italian hostel.
The staff were very cold. The shared shower barely worked and very poor and very dirty. I left some belongings on my hostel bed (under a towel). I called to arrange to collect them, the evening staff were unhelpful and I was told to wait until the next day for the cleaners. By the next day I was told they were not there. The staff let this place down for me.
Large room. Excellent staff. Simple breakfast with good coffee. Clean sheets and towels.
Location a bit hard to get to. Wifi only available in public areas. Can hear people from adjacent room. (The rooms are partitioned). Not enough power points for charging handphones.
Great location, staff extremely helpful and as a solo traveller a great place to meet interesting fellow travellors
