the garden the room the location sandra and giovanni kindness
Very helpful and friendly owners. Easy walk into the centre of Florence. Lovely garden and great value breakfast.
Sandra is very nice and offer help to me. The location is good, you can shopping in the street which local people go
The first visit in Florence. The owner welcomed us like in a 5***** hotel, gave us a city map and shown us what to see and where to go. We honestly felt like home in Florence thanks to the owners and their hospitality. The room was wonderful with a marvelous garden. Bathroom and toilette in the room. Well, like I said - 5star hotel accommodation. Ohh...one more thing - the breakfast. It is a must have! I honestly think this is the best in florence! A big thank you to the owners!
Room was gorgeous, modern, airy, light. Very spacious, bathroom was very modern but a little 'snug'. Supermarket is 2 min walk away and there's a small fridge in the room.
The location was further than I thought, a good 25 minute walk to the central areas.
Sandra and Giovanni are very friendly and are happy to help with your querries and go an extra mile. Sandra explained to me how to move around in Florence and where things are. The location is very nice, a 15-minute walk from the centre and not in a tourist area which was good for me. The room was quiet and had everything I needed. It was a bit small but it was a one-person room, so I was not expecting a bigger one really. Breakfasts were tasty and ample. The room was cleaned every day. Wifi was working very well.
My bed was a bit too small and the matress was not too comfortable. I could not look through the window outside because it was too high.
Loved this place! Owners we're so great and spoke English, short walk to the centre. Would recommend this b&b for everyone!
- Sandra gives so much information about where to eat in the city that locals eat, how to walk into town, etc. -Very comfortable, elegant rooms with nice touches like hot water kettle, mini-fridge. - Large grocery store less than 1 block away, lots of good local cafes if you don't want breakfast at the hotel. - On our last day we asked if they could just serve us a cappucino to go with some food we had bought for breakfast, and Sandra even brought out olive oil to put on our caprese.
- Slightly farther from the main sights than if we had stayed in the Oltrarno, though very pleasant walk past lots of smaller shops. - Occasionally could hear other people talking in the halls- I found this is often true of these old buildings with stone floors, definitely not a significant problem.
The owners were exceptionally kind and customer-oriented. Great location (quiet place, but very close to main attractions), very clean and good size room, a pretty garden with a nice & fresh breakfast. Fast internet connection. Loved our stay!
Very clean and modern room, Sandra (the owner) is lovely and v helpful-definitely ask for a cappuccino.
Hosts Sandra and Giovane were lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Fab breakfast served in the garden. Very comfortable room. Good location only 15 min stroll into the Historic centre. Good choice of restaurants nearby and less expensive than the centre. Sandra can advise you of places to go. Will definitely return here next time in Florence.
The hosts were very friendly, Sandra gave us a lot of good advice about visiting Florence and towns to visit on our trip to Siena. The Florence city center is just a 15 min walk from the B&B. We really enjoyed the breakfast (incl toast with ham and cheese, fruit, yoghurt, juice, cappuccino, bread with butter and jam) in the quit garden. Also, the room was airconditioned which is nice during the summer nights.
Parking is a bit challenging and the shower is quite small.
This not the Hilton, but you knew that. Great quiet neighborhood, restaurants, cafe, grocery, transit. Small room but functional, attractive, comfortable, well-maintained, well-managed. Pretty garden. Proprietress is very pleasant and helpful, gives useful advice. Would be my first choice for a return visit.
Nice and clean room, it has a beautiful backyard. And the breakfast is the best I've ever had! The owners are very kind and helpful. Sandro shows me the directions. Everything is nice about this hotel.
1) The owner Sandra is very very helpful. It's like having a local friend in the city. Good! 2) Location so convenient. good for food and shopping. 3) Especially like the breakfast in the lovely little garden. The toast is just so so nice! Still missing it :-)
The host is very kind and warm, she almost take care of everything during my stay. I love this place and their lovely garden, I definitely would like to choose in this place again in the future. A perfect memory and great trip!
Polite staff, personal approach, good air conditioning, an excellent hearty breakfast in the room, near to "campo di marte" train station and the historical center of the city, good look from the window to the inside quiet garden.
Very cold stone floor in winter, you need a pair of slippers. Small bathroom.
Sandra is a very warm and nice lady. She will try her best to meet all your requests whatever it is. Room is clean and we feel confortable.
Location is a bit far from the central station
Sandra and Giovanni are super, very friendly and visitor open. The location is near to the city center, 15 min walk from main Florence sightseeings.
The staff was extremely friendly and gave us a free room upgrade. The community where the property situated was quite and there was a supermarket nearby. The room was clean and comfortable.
Sandra and Giovanni were the ideal hosts - very welcoming and extremely helpful in recommending restaurants and attractions. The guesthouse is located among numerous local restaurants serving the finest Tuscan fayre - an advantage of being slightly away from the tourist trail. The guesthouse was a twenty minute walk away from the Duomo so well placed for exploring the main attractions.
Very warm welcome, helpful services ! Roomsize is nice with small fridge, TV and water boiler. The wifi is surprisely fast ! Around some nice restaurants (La Luna) supermarket and breakfast places.
In the "street side room" (of course cheaper) you can hear every scooter passing by of the front of the window. And the phone calls in the room just beside. But if you sleep deep. it's not a big deal.
Location, the rooms, the owners were all excellent. Best place we stayed at in Italy by far!
Very, very friendly staff, 15 minute to most attractions, clean.
That small unit which is next to the street can be noisy on weekend nights.
The hostess is a very nice person and she warmly answers every question in details. She is really helpful. Room is clean and tidy. Breakfast suits my appetite, including sandwich, and fresh fruits.
