Hotel Orto de' Medici  

The hotel was really beautiful. The recepction and some common areas where really nice decorated. Our room was very nice, with a view to a nice patio, high roof and fine decorated. The staff was nice and everything was in perfect conditions and clean. A lot of bars and restaurants in the surroundings and only 10 minutes walking to the Duomo and 15 to de station.

They put us in a room next to the cafetería so from 6 o clock was really dificult to sleep with the noise of the waiters tyding up and later the people having breakfast.

Well presented Hotel with a lovely courtyard garden, spacious rooms with friendly helpful staff; and best of all in a quite location but only a two minute walk to the historic centre and a ten minute easy walk to the train station.

The wonderful location which enabled us to walk to everything easily. Hotel staff recommended good restaurants too. Our room was comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast room was too tight. Just not enough room for the number of guests trying to get up and serve themselves from the buffet and the self- service coffee machine. It didn't make for a leisurely breakfast!

We enjoyed the simple elegance and charm of this Italian hotel in the heart of the "people district" of Florence. The lovely courtyard and simplicity of the design really spoke to us. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. We look forward to our next trip to Florence and our stay at the Hotel Orto de Medici.

The breakfast is not that great, gets really boring after 2 days...

Liked the history of the hotel. LIked that my husband myself and my two children could stay in the same room. Liked free wifi. Garden and breakfast was lovely. Really loved the gift of a small book on the history of the Medici's and this hotel. Nice touch! Would stay again.

Did not like that other clients were allowed to smoke in the garden/breakfast area. That really made it unpleasent for other non smokers and children. Not to mention people with asthma. Did not like the water pressure, it was barely a trickle in the shower.

The room was comfortable and more upscale than any other of our trip. (It was also the most costly.) Plenty of space, very clean, and nice amenities. Loved the bath tub! The staff was friendly and helpful. As we were celebrating a significant anniversary, it was nice to be in room that gave the feel of a little luxury and we felt it was worth the little bit of extra splurge. A few reviews we read ahead of time warned that the location might be a little uncomfortable late at night, but we didn't find that to be the case. We felt safe.

We would have liked to see a slightly wider selection of options for breakfast, especially for people who don't eat meat. Soft- or hard- boiled eggs and cheeses would have been nice. Other than that the breakfasts were fine.

Apenas o fato do banheiro não possuir box. Assim, toda vez que tomávamos banho o banheiro ficava cheio de água.

Hotel molto bello e in zona centrale, nemmeno 10 minuti dal duomo. Staff gentile e competente. Stanza ottima. Hotel very beautiful and close to the old town, 10 minutes to the Cathedral. The staff is kind and qualified . Very good room.

距火车站及市区主要景点均在步行十分钟以内，从酒店步行至圣母百花大教堂及维奇奥宫、乌菲兹美术馆的沿途也- 能欣赏当地的市井风情。所在街巷安静，酒店卫生，布置雅致，早餐丰富，下次前往佛罗伦萨还会选择入住，非常- 值得推荐！

Läget är utmärkt, hotellet ligger på en gata med endast sparsam trafik, ändå centralt och med både restauranger och affärer I närheten. Några minuters promenad och du befinner dig I stadens absoluta centrum med dess fantastiska byggnader och konstverk. Hotellpersonalen var mycket vänlig, artig och serviceminded. De hjälpte oss med diverse saker utan besvär.

Frukostbuffén skulle kunna bjuda på fler valmöjligheter vad beträffar fullkornsbröd, ost och osockrade frukostflingor. Den var dock helt ok med t ex färsk frukt och juice. Gott kaffe.
