If you are going to Stromboli to climb the volcano this is the best place to stay. It is yards from the port and and ten minute walk from the trekking companies and pizza resturants. They have a bar which opens at 6.30 great if you are leaving on the first boat which we were and need a coffee and croissant. The staff were extremely helpful and hard working-there until late at night and back again with a smile first thing in the morning. we originally booked only one night but ended up staying 3 due to adverse weather-the hotel coped admirably with stranded day trippers Nothing

Friendly personnel. Large rooms (superior). View at Stromboli. Close to the port. Airconditioning. Although friendly, personnel was not very helpful. They answered all questions but no information was given. The breakfast had only sweet things to choose from. Room with sea-view were above street and terrace, so not very quiet (could change easily to mountain-view though)

Welcoming helpful staff. Stunning location across narrow road to beach with rooms having balconies overlooking the sea. Good comfortable facilities. Excellent breakfast. Impossible to fault.

The location of the hotel was very good, very very central The room was not worth what we paid for it. It was extremely noisey at night. The staff were not very helpful- in fact, when we were offered a orange drink on arrival and told to drink it outside on a very hot day i asked to drink it in the lobby, and the lady huffed and puffed, rolled her eyes and then said yes- it was very bizarre.

The location of the hotel is great and we had a terrace with our own exit on the street in StrombolI which really made us feel like we were one of the locals in the island and not at a hotel. I was worried it would be too close to the port, but Stromboli is very small so you are both a walk from the port and right in the centre of the old town. The staff were very friendly and multilingual. The hotel was advertised as a 3 star but only had the standards of a 1 or 2 star hotel at best. The mattresses were old, springy and not that confortable. Also due to their energy saving system, the (very old) fridge doesn't work if you are not in the room. It's not exactly a bargain either at 140 euros a night (reduced from 180). I understand that life on the island is expensive and that it was peak season but for that price the facilities should be better. We also went to see the outdoor thermal pool and it didn't look very welcoming.

The fact that there were little food shops in walking distance, restaurants, beach etc...all within a ten minutes or less walk. Port is near also to take boat ride to see the volano erupt. Food was fresh everywhere we ate. Relaxing visit.....but no English speaking tv or Internet avaialble in hotel for guest use. See above

Good location near port. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. We stayed just one night and it was too short. Our room was right over the bar, so quite noisy because the locals stay till late and are back again early in the morning. In between it was quite agreeable with a refreshing breeze cooling the room. Drinks are very expensive (coffee 3,50 EUR, a glass of wine 5,50 EUR).

Very professional and customer oriented staff. Quick check in and check out the evening before possible. A problem with missing bottles from the room fridge was solved easily to our satisfaction. Perfect location, 2 minutes walk and directly visible from the ferry port. Room located on the back side of the building (on my request - follow the advice of other reviewers on this site and dont book a seaview room opening on the main street if you are noise sensitive. (The beach in front of the hotel being not sooo nice anyway, coverered with boats, the sea being about 200m from the hotel) was very quiete. Being ground floor, we had a terrace shared with two other rooms, offering backside (locked) entrance to the hotel, and a very nice opportunity to chill in the evening with direct Stromboli view - I actually saw some eruptions directly from our long chairs. Very comprehensive breakfast buffet (but essentially sweet items) with fresh coffee served from the bar staff. Possibility to breakfast on the bar terrace on the front side of the hotel. We loved the bathroom with all commodities and walk-in showers. The hotel has been completely renoveated recently. 5-10 min walks to the village center, from where the night guided walks to the vulcano start. 5 minute from two supermarkets, a few steps from several tourist information desks, the starting point of the island tours etc..

Large room - actually we got 2 rooms in one - perfect for us and the kids. Lovely position near the marina and beach. Good breakfast. Nice staff - even returned our daughters lost teddy bear. Would definately stay here again. The spa was a natural sea water spa located off site (short walk away) - only problem was we could only go between 4 and 6pm. And don't wear a pale swimming costume as it turned mine orange with the sulphur! But it was a nice experience.

The location of the hotel is great. That is the nearest hotel to the harbour, where all ships ties up. Our room was on the back side of the building (view to the vulcano), with an own small terrace, and gate to the road, what leeds to the meeting point of Stromboli excursions. Having the own key we had a taller degree of freedom. We got fresh orange juice at arrival, and after a rough crossing it was fantastic. the insulation of the doors and windows is weak, so the wind howled infuriatingly on the gaps

It's a great small hotel right next to the beach and close to the volcano. You just get off the ferry und you are at the hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable. We wanted to stay one more night, because it was so great. Unfortunately, this was not possible, because they were fully booked. Highly recommendable.

Price is ok What a noisy place! All day long you have the noise of the "ape" and motor bikes, in the night you hear every single word of your neighbours and in the morning the place underneath the (see view) room is the meeting point of all loudly discussing folks. On top, the charge for a little plate of disgusting spaghetti almost 8 euro. Never ever again!
