Hotel Ossidiana

They had a hotspring ( poorly advertise ) that hotel guests could use for free. There was a large continental breakfast every morning and the room was very big and always cleaned. It was across the road from the port so we did not need a taxi to get to our hotel with our bags.

The hotel did not make any effort (except for one girl) to accommodate english speaking tourist. There is no english tv channels in the rooms and the staff can barely speak two words. While we were on the island there was a terrible storm but there was no why of finding out if we are in danger and only heard on ccn when we arrived in Sicily that it was a Tornado and that was massive mudslides nearby. The street infront of the hotel is also very busy - on the island they drive with motorcycle thats converted into a small car and they make a hell of a noise. This hotel is very close to the port and the traffic infront of your window start at before 6 in the morning. Next time I would rather stay in one of the many "casa" on the islan

The view to Stromboli - we had asked for this view (backside). This is a simple 3 star hotel, and we got what we expected.

Perfect location.Huge terrace of unit 15 overlooked the sea.Very close to ferry terminal.Sumptuous breakfast.Short walk up the hill to Magmatrek who guided us up Stromboli.Staff very obliging.

Calm relaxed atmosphere with extremely helpful and courteous staff...and of course the unique views

We fount the hotel and our room very clean. The place is very comfortable and relaxing and romantic (as the whole island)

Uns hat die Lage direkt am Fähranleger und in der Nähe des Startpunktes für die Stromboli-Wanderung gefallen. Ebenso das Personal, das Frühstück, das Zimmer.

Hotel sympathique avec un personnel attentionné et un excellent petit déjeuner en buffet.L'hotel est situé à côté du port et des guichets de vente des billets de bateaux.

Chambres petites et il nous semble mesquin de faire payer un appel téléphonique (0,60 cts d'euros !!)

Hôtel très pratique pour qui veut faire l'ascension du Stromboli. Une chambre disposait d'un balcon donnant sur la mer, l'autre donnait sur une petite terrasse commune à trois chambres. Le personnel, très conciliant, nous a gentiment autorisés à attendre dans les différents halls le lendemain matin où il pleuvait à verse.

J'aurais bien aimé pouvoir profiter des thermes, accessibles dès lors qu'on résidait à l'hôtel, mais… de 16 h 30 à 18 h 30, autrement dit malheureusement quand on était en train de faire l'ascension du volcan !

Een perfecte locatie. Aan de aankomsthaven van de ferry, Aan de vissershaven met een prachtig lavastrand om een lange wandeling te maken.Thermenbad gratis.Zeer goed ontbijtbuffet.Zeer vriendelijke, gastvrije en behulpzame directie en staf. Op loopafstand van winkelstraat en diverse restaurants.Ook in het Hotel prima lunch en diner mogelijkheden. Een verblijf van meerdere dagen zeker waard. Wij willen hier zeker terugkomen.

L'Ile de Stromboli et le village de St Vincent ne comporte pas beaucoup d'hôtel. Celui ci est bien placé.

Notre chambre donnait sur un mur alors que l'hôtel est face à la mer !! un peu dommage. Assez bruyant. Rapport qualité prix trop élevé. Nous aurions sans doute pu trouver un bed and breakfast beaucoup plus agréable avec vue mer.
