The staff members were extremely nice and helpful as far as giving advice about the city and helping us get a cab in the morning. Very friendly and welcoming. The room was also very spacious and the bathroom was great!
It was hard to find so if there were clearer instructions in the booking email that could have helped!
- can walk straight into town, less than 15 mins - breakfast is insane, there's so much choice! - there's a PC available - useful for those of us who still don't have smartphones/ tablets :P - dorms/ breakfast were a great way to chat to people
- Just some advice - bring ear plugs, especially if you're in a dorm. People will come in at all hours, as the result of there not being a curfew.
The staff are friendly
We didn't live in the hostel that we booked. The staff moved us to another hostel that they cooperate with. However, the hostel we stayed has low quality and definitely not worth the price we have paid. We were disappointed.
Staff very kind.
The toilette was out of the room. No shamppo, no soap in the toilette. Breakfast very soft. Far from the downtown. Very noisy, we heard everything from others rooms.
Staff were welcoming and very friendly. Eager to feed me and show me where the local places to eat /shop are. Excellent English speaking and in a safe, very clean location. The location is perfectly across from a bus stop that takes you right to the local train station and in a quiet location. Rooms were cleaned daily, as were the bathrooms. Air conditioning worked well and loved that they had personal closets and provided keys and locks. I highly recommend it here if you are looking for quality for your money and time. I travelled solo as a female from Canada and felt very safe and comfortable.
I booked to be in a room of 4 females but was put in a room of 6. It was okay, as it allowed me to make some really nice friends. I am certain if i asked to be moved, they would have done so for me.
The people here are all very nice; they were happy to let me use their printer when I needed to print off a ticket for a museum, and it's likely that you'll end up having long conversations with the staff if you hang around the common area. We stayed in a private room and it was clean and comfortable; it was a fantastic deal for a private room. Breakfast is excellent and filling (they have homemade cake!) and they give you a map of the city that's a big help. They were also very happy to lock our stuff up when we had an extra day in florence after checkout. The people made a big difference; highly recommended.
Internet is very slow, and it's a bit of a walk from most of the main attractions, though we didn't mind. It took us maybe 15 minutes to get to Il Duomo, which is fine in my opinion, but it's worth considering when booking. It's not terribly far from the train station, but you might want to take a taxi if you arrive at night. These are quibbles, so don't let that discourage you.
Lovely staff, met heaps of great people, the best hostel breakfast I've had and everything was clean and safe. I'd definitely recommend this hostel to anyone traveling in Florence.
No complaints, I just had a bit of trouble finding the place
Wonderful place, nice staff and atmosphere!
Location, people really tried hard to make our stay comfortable.
This is not a B&B but a hostel. Hence this place shouldn't be listed in booking.com or listed with clear indicator that its a hostel.
Super kind staff,clean sheets,
The wifi in room never works, for 3 nights I barely slept because of the mosquitos!!!
Everything was brilliant! From the staff to the cleanliness to the comfort of the beds and the very functional wi-fi. This is the place to go!
Sam is really kind and helpful.
The breakfast was awesome. The location was pretty good. The staff was really helpful especially Martina and Luka.
The wifi was not good.
Great staff and great location if you don't mind walking a little. For the price this was a incredible stay
The Wi-Fi was free but very slow
Very friendly stuff. Breakfast is very good. Hotel is not far from city center. I liked this hostel.
Street traffic can interfere with sleep.
Everything is very very good! Especially the stuff! Love you!
The staff was really helpful and friendly! It is a good base to visit Florence, not far from the main turistic attractions and well connected to the main station and other towns (Fiesole etc.).
Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff. Got everything needed as a hostel.
Mosquitoes swarming and the hostel ain't doing anything to help (during late August) Location a bit far from city central but close to the Accademia
