Location hard to find and a distance from transportation and sights

We were impressed with the welcoming staff, the modern and clean facilities.Fresh , home-made croissants were a treat in the morning. The transportation to the airport was provided for a fair price.

You need a car.

The room was nice, well decorated and equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us lots to eat and drink for our breakfast.

We couldn't get the shutter open in front of the windows and door to the balcony. Also it was very noisy downstairs early in the morning with customers at the restaurant. And dogs were barking a lot across the road. So a peaceful night's sleep is not to be had here. But that seems to be true of everywhere in Italy. Also the B&B is nearly 2km from the train station, not 1km as it says on the website. It is a long walk and along a busy road without proper pavement for some of it so you should take a taxi from the station.

Wonderful staff- warm, friendly. The food delicious. Everything JUST PERFETTO!!! Don't let the bumpy ride in fool you- you'll be delightfully surprised. Near to the park. Beautiful,chic, comfortable rooms.

Location = 15-20 min fm Fuimicino; 5 min fm Ostia Antica ruins Rooms = very new, pleasantly furnished, nice bathroom, utterly clean owner & staff= charming & helpful Food= B&B rooms are above an excellent pizzeria and coffee/bar.

Only thing I didn't like was the mixup or whatever it was that required me to wait way more than an hour for the airport pickup I'd been promised by the owner.

This place was just fabulous if you're looking for somewhere in Rome near the airport . The owner couldn't do enough for us,he picked us up at airport and dropped us back the next day.

Wi Fi was hard to access.

Clean and functional room

Couldn't get hold of anybody when we arrived and nearly left to find another hotel. Owner promised to get up at 5 as we had to leave at 5.30 for airport but had to wake him up twice.

Ostia Antica Suite B&B was well priced and located only a 20 minute walk from the Ostia Antica ruins.It was also conveniently located close to the Rome Fiumicino Airport from where we were departing Italy. The rooms were clean and well presented. The staff was friendly; we liked the fact that this was a family owned business. The caffe'/pizza bar downstairs cooked us a great meal one night that was great value for money.

Noise seems to travel easily between rooms that may bother some. For the price it was an inconvenience we were happy to accept. The ability to speak some Italian is an advantage.

The staff were very hospitable and they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms were small but well maintained, clean and reasonably comfortable. If we had more time, we could easily have walked to a bus stop or even walked to visit Ostia Antica's ancient ruins.

Were not very good about responding to e-mail inquiries. Hotel is in a residential area. Not much to do or see right at the hotel. If we had more time, we certainly could have used a bus to visit Ostia Antica's ancient ruins.

Convenient to ruins via staff shuttle and/or city bus. Friendly staff - great food in Pizzeria downstairs - strong, hot shower!

we were very pleasantly surprised how nice and new the rooms were. the family owners were very nice and helpful.the airport is only 10 minutes away. you could eat pizza downstairs and there was a coffee bar as well

Only one person spoke any English. No English T.V. Channels.. Wi Fi very weak signal.

Very clean, the owners were very friendly and helpful. Very easy to get to Rome from the b&b, takes approx an hour.

Instant pickup at Fumincinno airport at 9:30pm at night and morning dropoff took only about 10 minutes! Very convenient. Cost10 Euros per person for shuttle each way but was quick! We arrived late and food places were closed in town, but asked our driver and he arranged for delicious pizzas that were ready when we arrived as well as a bottle of wine! Of course, we were charged but it was quick and delicious! The owner and his brother were more than congenial and helpful and airport was very close.

The neighbourdood were the hotel is located is very run down and the exterior of the hotel also. This hotel need a good paint job and some renovations on the outside.

This family-run B&B is wonderful. Very comfortable room, wonderful Pizzeria, d-lish breakfast, and warm, friendly, and very accommodating staff. I can't wait to stay here again.

The room was very nice. The staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good and the pizza restaurant attached to the hotel was quite good.

I wish the writeup had included where to get the bus near the train station that stopped near the hotel and how to identify the bus stop near the hotel. The bus was convenient once we knew how to use it.

This was an unexpected treat. Giovanni greeted us with coffee and it kept getting better. This a great place if you fly in and out of Rome. Family owned and they treat you like family. The father took us to the airport for our flight. The pizza was the best I had in Italy. The room was spotless & the wifi was great. We explored the ruins and after 2 1/2 hours only saw a small part. I will plan another trip and this time spend more than 1 day.

Excellent value for the money. Not close to much but it is quiet and close to Ostia Antica the extensive Roman ruins that a worth a visit. The staff was very helpful and their co-located restaurant was a big plus. The room with en suite was apparently updated recently. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. Its proximity to Fiumicino Airport was great. I needed to be at the airport at 5AM. So, Giovanni arranged for a friend to pick me up at 4:15 AM. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

We were frazzled after trying to get out of the Rome airport and find our way at night in a rainstorm. The owner was very kind and even parked our car for us. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We appreciated that the owner spoke very good English. The pastries for breakfast were amazing and they even offered pizza from their family owned pizzeria. We loved everything about Ostia Antica Suite B &B!

Very handy to the acheological site at Ostia Antica. Very clean, quiet room and superb hospitality from Giovanni and his family. The breakfast cornetto rolls were the best we had in Italy and the coffee was great too. Pizza, salad and wine for Saturday dinner were very good too. Our bed was firm, with good reading light. Giovanni got us to the airport to catch our morning flight to NY with no hassles, so our plan of adding this side trip to see the ruins before heading home worked out splendidly.

For those (like us) without a car, it takes a bit of organization to get there. We took a cab from Rome, but it could have been done by Metro + suburban train (one ticket), with pick up by Giovanni or the bus. If you simply ask Giovanni ahead of time, transportation could also be arranged from the airport if you wanted to do the ruins before Rome.

John the owner could not do enough for us. I had asked for a birthday cake to be arranged for our arrival. Not only was the cake there but so was a candle and the means to light it. Nothing is a problem when staying there, and it is nearer to the Airport than Rome which was good for us as we arrived on a late flight and didn,t arrive at the B&B until 10.30pm.

Good location for Ostia Antica. Very comfortable rooms. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
