The location was great...too bad the room sucked. First of all, the people were completely rude. When I asked where to park, they said rudely, that they do not have parking and that I would have to go drive around. Secondly, the elevator stopped on a floor that was not a floor....but a brick wall. Not a good experience! The terrace is nothing as it seems in the pictures. You have to climb up a dangerous open-air stairwell, and oh- by-the-way, the swing and chairs up on the roof were busted. Also, the room looked like something out of the 80s....definitely needs remodeling. Lastly, we pulled back one of the desks form the walls (my daughter dropeed a toy back there) onlyt to find a 3 inch gap of cotton and dust...disgusting. Do not reccommend this hotel at all!

Excellent location and staff were very helpful.Nice roofgarden. value for money Very old-fashioned hotel, shower and the bed need to be renovated. breakfast was the same for eacho morning but was ok, no restaurant or bar in the hotel it looked like used to be one before. But we enjoyed our stay it was a good price compared to the other hotels in Rome crazy prices need to do something and the service charges are so annoying.

The location was good with regards to sight seeing but we found it a bit of a trek to go back to the hotel and then out again to the nicer parts to eat in the evening. This was supposed to be a 4*. The room we booked was a double and we did request a nice room as it was a very special occassion. The normal double room was dingy, dark, and the bathroom was filthy. The room shown on the internet is in fact a triple which we ended up in. However, there were no tea/coffee facilites and the noise from the road was incredibly loud - all night! This should not be a 4* GRADING!!The website shows it as offering "to our guests the best comfort and elegance" not so!! The hotel in its day we would imaging would have been grand but sadly not so now. The location dictates the room prices, not the quality of the hotel.

The main positive point of the hotel it is really the location. When I entered into the room, there was opened water into the fridge, left from previous guests; the fridge was not checked before my check in; The Internet wi-fi it is terrible; you cannot use in your room and even complaining in the reception, nothing was done; in the first breakfast, there were 14 pieces of yogourt expired 10 days ago; elevator does not have sensor and if the door closes never dare to be in the middle, it will never stop.

Excellent location and fantastic views from terrace. The bar was not open on one of the days and very limited on the others . We did have a mini bar in the room but it would have been nice to relax in the lounge with a drink after a busy day. Also no service provided to get a hot drink.

Very large and modern bathroom - approximately the same size as the rest of the rather small standard room. This is not remotely a four-star hotel. It was a reasonable value only because the room was substantially discounted.

I liked the roof top terrace that had wonderful views of the city. The room was clean and the breakfast was very nice with many selections of food in a nice dining room. The location is very convenient to most everything. I would stay there again. The elevator was small, but it worked. You just had to take turns. I did also enjoy the pretty staircase.

I liked the location, the staff was ok too, and the breakfast. The room was very noisy, even if we closed all windows. The shower leaked, so after every shower the whole bathroom was a swamp...

Great location for walking to all the important historic sites Hotel is very shop worn, lobby, hallway and room drapes look like they have not been cleaned in years, carpets are worn, walls have plaster repairs which have not been repainted. Bath sinks and showers have fixtures which may be period pieces but are seriously in need of replacement.

Great, great location - everything in 10 walking minutes . Comfort and great cleanliness of the room. Staff, talking in Russian, French , English languages (and may be more..) . Great breakfast, even if you are on special diet, you can select some food and keep on diet. There is not iron facilities in the hotel, including ironing board. Yes, they have dry cleaning service, but if you are doing your own laudry in hot time (I 've been in Rome in august for 18 days), you need to do ironing, and even if you have your own travel iron, you still need ironing board. It is one thing that I would like to see in this hotel during my next holidays in Rome.

“The hotel was comfortable and close to the airport which was adequate for what we wanted. We needed a stop over so that we could travel to civitavecchia the next day.
