location, front desk, location, front desk, did I mention location. We walked everywhere from this hotel. When we couldn't find it, the front desk went out of their way to make sure we knew how to get there. the bed was left over from my dormatory in college, a metal frame with metal springs instead of a box spring and a thin mattress, we called them "racks" |

All the satff members were very friendly, smiley and helpful. The breakfast buffet was splendid. The location was just perfect with the Colosseo in a 3 min walk, the Tevere in a 5 min walk, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Piazza Navona and plenty of churches and fountains also just in a 5 or 10 min walk away. The room was nice, tidy and clean. We have had everything we could have needed in this lovely hotel. Me and my husband were both very happy that we booked our room in this hotel. |

the outstanding point is its excellent location, close to the most important monuments. Also, the panoramic terrace is very nice and it offers a good opportunity to enjoy a general view of the city |

I had a wonderful room with a balcony which overlooked old Rome. I was moved to this room after the first night because the room I checked into had a faulty air conditioner. But the move was a good one! The TV also got CNN which was a plus to keep up on U.S. news. There was no full service restaurant and no bar/lounge. The elevators were slow, but adequate. |

I liked everything about Hotel Pace Elvetia even though I stayed for a night only. Centrally positioned, 3 min away from Fontana di Trevi and Piazza Venezia, great views of Rome from its rooftop terrace . . . |

The location of the hotel is very central, so it is very easy to walk to all attractions. The staff was helpful. The hotel is advertised as 4* but it should not be classified more than 3*. I think the price paid was high for this hotel. |

The location of the hotel was great. The room's to the front of the hotel are very noisy because of the main road and the room's are a bit on the small side. |
