The staff were extremely friendly and helpful at the front desk. Breakfast was substantial with lots of variety. Bathroom was functional and modern. The room extremely small, could not walk around the bed to get to the other side. Windows looked at a wall. Blankets and bedspread old fashioned and the room had a musty smell. Disappointed we were given annexxe room as website showed room with a view.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is very easy to find and access. It is a central location which made it ideal as a base from which to walk around and discover Venice. It is comfortable This hotel had the heating on and the temperature out side was 22c when I asked about the air conditioning I was told it was not possible to put it on as the system could only be heating or air conditioning not both. The air conditioning would not be turned on until May. So do not stay in this hotel before May if you like to sleep in a cool room

I loved the location of our hotel. We were right near all the main attractions in Venice. The morning buffet breakfast was great as was just a short walk way. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice.

Great location, great price/quality raport, nice breakfast, clean room. The fact that at check in theheat was turned off (15 degree in room) despite the fact that outside was minus degree. Bathroom unheated. The asked for 6 euro citytax and did not put it on bill.

The Location and the room standard There was no minibar, despite it was a superior deluxe double room. The room privacy was very poor, as some staff opened the door and came in while we were inside.

Wonderfull hotel. Very close to San Marco. Good view if you live in the main building & from top terrace. very warm & clean. Good breakfast. Pleasant stuff, specially the guy who checked us in at 07.01.12 about 2 p.m. Unfortunately, I don't know his name. Thank you so much.

The hotel is right on the main waterway, making it incredibly convenient. It was quiet and the breakfast was very decent. Only 5 minute walk to St. Mark square and only 12-15 minute easy walk through shopping/eating areas to Rialto bridge. Unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. Last year we stayed at Best Western Hotel Ala near Paganelli, and we should have done that again. My parents stayed in the room next to us, and had several issues with their room. Of the several issues, the only issue the hotel helped with was a leak in the bathroom which never got fully fixed. For the rest of the issues, the hotel reply was a nice, but not very helpful, apology. Our room, even in January, had a mosquito problem (with windows closed the whole time, so they must be hibernating inside the room somewhere). I'm not saying you shouldn't stay here, but the location and convenience should be balanced with the negatives as well.

The hotel is really 3 min walk from San Marc square, best possible location for very good price; recently renovated, very clean; very good breakfast. If we have to go to Venice again will definitely take the same hotel. Recommended! Rouja, Sofia, Bulgaria!

Hotel Paganelli was great. The location was perfect for the sights and the vaporetta stop. The view from the roof top terrace over the Grand Canal was amazing and we were lucky enough to have our own balcony overlooking a courtyard. It was a bit on the expensive side but was worth the extra for the view etc.

The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting Venice(5 min from Piazza San Marco, by foot) and also for those coming from Marco Polo airport( 1 min from San Zaccaria boat station). The room was very clean, the staff was helpful and polite, breakfast was ok. The room where we stood was very very small.
