Close to the sea and a good location to see a sunset

The staff did not speak english. Our room was very nosie and rather old fashion. The breakfast a chaos but the food was good. Loud music at night.

We loved that there was a private beach for guests this was the best part about our stay. Staff was helpful for English speakers about places to go on the Island.

Bathroom got very hot quick and drain was poor. Everything else was great!

The hotel is located next to the port of Ischia (and that's where you probably arrive when coming to the Island). The bus station, where you can take buses to around the island is also very close. So the location is excellent. Staff were helpful, smiling and professional. The WiFi only worked in restaurant and was slow but that's so called first world problem and not really an issue for me. Price was average I guess. Also our room's window gave to the sea and there was no noise from outside the hotel, but see below...

So no noise from outside the hotel, but from inside there was a considerable amount. The walls are paper thin and we could hear people talking and watching TV in the next room no problem. Also, there was some party on the island that weekend and teenagers were shouting until 2 AM on Saturday night. Well that's not too bad, but the same group started same shouting and running in the corridors at 6 AM next morning. That, of course, sucked. Well luckily I had earplugs so it was barely tolerable and could somewhat sleep. Our room was also away from pools and the restaurant terrace, but I would imagine people having their rooms by those common areas experience even more noise. So if you're sensitive to noise and want to ensure good night's sleep, I can't recommend this hotel from the bottom of my heart. However if you don't mind the noise it's not a bad hotel.

Sunset view is beautiful at the upper terrace.

When we checked in the AC unit was not working, sure enough they sent someone to see it, we told him it needed freon, and he said no it is good, and of course we had to move into another room - after unpacking- where the AC was working.

Brilliant location. On the sea shore and a minute or minutes level walk to the ferries, buses, cafés, shops etc. really lovely clean decent sized pool, plenty of comfy sun loungers with shades, choices of concrete platform with sun loungers and ladders into sea, chill out area with cafe and good DJ, or busier sandy beach further along. Plenty of comfy, quiet places to sit and relax around hotel with nice outlooks and a covered area (useful when it rained) by the hotel restaurant that served good food. Breakfast decent - apples, juices, ham, cheese, toastie maker, yoghurts, cereals, decent croissants and pastries, decent coffee, etc. I had a superior air conditioned room which was a good size, very comfy and cleaned daily with plentiful towels, loo rolls, shower gel etc. TV and fridge good. Good wardrobe space with many hangers and chest of drawers. Nice big private covered terrace with table and chairs and clothes airer for towels etc. staff very pleasant, friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return to the Pagoda. I wouldn't stay at any other hotel in ischia Porto as the Pagoda was perfect for me.

    I liked everything!

We stayed at Pagoda Hotel during a weekend and I must say that I've been extremely surprised with the kindness and availability of the staff!! The rooms are simple but with all the comforts, fridge and air conditioning included!! You can enjoy a nice jacuzzi, swimming pool and private descend to the sea! amazing Ischia, amazing stay, amazing people!

Good service and food in restaurant. The pool area is cosy.

Too small double rooms to be tree star. Noise from old airconditioner, from corridor doors and from the harbour near by.

It has its own beach and rocky beach to swim and snorkeling! clean, familiar, amazing views, very relaxing and quite, the outside Jacuzzis had and incredible location!

the shower plughole was blocked! this is something very common in all the hotels I have been! it should be include in all the reviews! internet only available in restaurant!

Private beach is good, view is excellent from the outside.

The rooms should be renovated.. especially bathrooms. Breakfast is not good enough, there is not possible to find normal fresh bread, only available toast! It's unusual!! Quality is lowest. The staff are very inexperienced and rough, no speaking in English and do not understand! If you want to drink something between breakfast and lunch time you may never find a personnel! Some mornings it can be noisy in the morning due to cleaning."inadequate conditions" we will never stay here again.

    proximity to the port

the notice that requested breakfast would include 1 coffee or 1 cappuccino - second one chargeable -- seemed rather mean neither Jacuzzis in working order night staff congregating and talking near our room till 2am

The hotel is very close to the port and bus stops, which makes it ideal for a short trip to this beautiful island. The buses are about 5 mins walk from the hotel so you can explore the island very easily. The hotel staff are very friendly, they even found soya milk for me for my stay.

The only down side is that in May the outdoor hot tubs were out of use and also you can only get wifi in the restaurant.

The Pagoda Hotel location @ Ischia Porto was perfect; The Pagoda hotel design & layout - immediately adjacent to the Mediterranean, was wonderful; The Pagoda Hotel breakfast & the service by staff met our needs completely.

Some unexpected rainy days, & a bathroom odour coming from the shower in our room were the only negatives. We would definitely enjoy staying @ the Pagoda next time...

Great location, hidden away yet close to nice restaurants past the port & also some bargain cafés and pizza joints, close to supermarkets, ferry terminal and bus stop. Very nice pool and sun soaking area, great views of the ocean. Breakfast ok & has restaurant for lunch and dinner but . Rooms a bit tired but fine & has air cond!!

Poor wifi reception, only in restaurant slow.

Simply the best. The greatest hosts I've ever met. Beautiful views, clean, friendly stuff, very helpful, good cuisine. It's more than second home on beautiful island than a hotel. Highly recommended for all those who want to relax or/and have fun. There is no noise from harbour, it's quiet and very calm, but still you can be in turist center within less than 3minutes, so it has great location. Most of all we liked our hosts Tadeusz and Regina, they made this unique, home-like-atmosphere. Always helpful, always smiling. We have to come back there sometimes.
