Score from 211 reviews Very good
the receptionists were very friendly
the shower tray was very low so water streamed out of the show tray onto the floor and into the room
Access to computer Breakfast Friendly staff Good transport to Stazione Termini
Located near to beautiful park Villa Borghese and walking distance to Piazza del Popolo and Spanish Steps. Direct tram connections from hotel to Vatican City (no. 19) and Colosseum (no. 3). Direct bus connections from hotel to Termini (nos. 223 and 910). Lovely buffet breakfast. Good restaurants within walking distance of hotel.
Nothing negative to report.
The room with a verandah. Clean n quite n away from the hustle n bustle of the city centre. Hot water bath. Great breakfast with a choice of juices cornflakes tea coffee toast n scrambled eggs with a choice of croissants etc
Can't think of anything.
The hotel was situated closed to Villa Borghese which was lucky as we travelled with 4 kids.
The staff didn´t know anything about what to do with kids, they were not helpful at all. There was a lot of trafficnoise and because of that we did not open the windows and it was 25 degrees. There was no wifi in the rooms.
Location was pretty good, and 2 or 3 good reataurants within 5min walk. Room is quite big. One particular lady at the front desk was amazingly helpful and friendly, breakfast was included
It is not a modern facility. Bathroom floods when using the shower, no air con or fan, tv is tiny, no kitchen facilities (kettle, tea/coffee), another lady from the front desk was quite rude
The willing to help attitude of Jenny & others. The period charm. The spacious room (201).Good connectivity with city due to bus availability
Same items in breakfast everyday. The hotel is located a little away from city centre.
Was in a nice area, very close to the park, Galleria Borghese and zoo Nice, large and clean room with large double bed and balcony Breakfast was a perfectly adequate buffet style meal Friendly and helpful staff Free wifi
It is not particularly close to the centre if you want to walk. The nearest metro stop was a 25minute walk away (though most was through the park) though there are bus stops nearby Could hear guests in room above talking and moving about a lot relatively clearly on some nights
clean hotel, excellent location, good staff. very enjoued the stay.
the breakfast was not so rich, but sufficient
position breakfast the staff
Staff is friendly, hotel is well situated not far from villa Borgese
Rooms need repair, mould on the terrace, no air conditioning, we needed to keep windows open and it was veery noisy from the trafic and birds squalls from the zoo, which was nearby. none of us managed to fall asleep that night, and we moved to another hotel in the morning
very very nice stuff, you can ask and you will find the answer, very good location 10 minutes from Termini Centrale
friendliness and efficiency of staff, proximity to Villa Borgese, large size of our room, good bathroom conditions
proprietor's dog barking from upper level terrace!
Nice Location, and a Spacious Dbl Room with balcony.
staff were extremely helpful.
Good facilities and good breakfast Quality-price is more than OK
TV did not function
Only one think - pretty good location.
Not enough space to describe all the "adventures" in this hotel. We strongly advise against.
Great and helpful staff and well located in the centre of the city. A historic building but well kept in terms of comfort.
position is excellent and the rooms are warm in the evening , not during daytime!! the girl who serves breakfeast is very nice and helpfull, the materiel and structure is so very poor it look like a kitchen on the beach!!
no wifi except for the area very near a drafty and cold reception. the daytime porter is a lady who does not trust people , is not welcoming at all !! The breakfeast is a daring experience!! the girl who serves it is nice and helpful, it is a freezing cold place, the bread , rolls and butter are so cold and so old!!
They were very helpful in all regards - even returning a favourite t-shirt I lost in the bed clothes. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast very good.
Big bright room, friendly and efficient staff, quiet neighborhood.
Spaceous room with plenty of drawers, very polite personnel, decent although frugal breakfast
Their printer didnt work when needed, wi-fi covered only ground floor, towels werent exchanged as often as they should, keys are always requested when leaving hotel
The surroundings. we sere sent to a hotel close to the hotel by the staff. They upgraded it at no cost. Since the rooms at Paisiello were very narrow and small, it could not fit for the 4 of us! Hotel Villa Porpora was freshly renovated.
Fair breakfast. Please avoid this hotel on New Year's eve, since it was very noisy the whole night.
This family chain hotel helps make me a great trip in the following aspects: 1) They provide local information concerning the tourism and history details of Rome. 2) Nice location besides the beautiful Villa Borghese, where people could either talk a walk or rent a bike to enjoy the fantastic scenery. 3) 2mins' walk from the Hotel, there are tramways and bus connections to the central train station. 4) Classical furnitures, paintings, pianos, and the history of this family chain makes the Hotel an enjoyable destination to read of, in addition to stay in.
