The hotel has its own restaurant, serving a variety of gourmet products from the region: Every day for lunch, you can enjoy any one of a number of the local specialities, ranging from fresh vegetables in season to Tyrrhenian fish, from buffalo mozzarella-cheese to the various noodle dishes cooked following the traditional recipes of Campania.

All dishes are well matched with red and white wines, of which the region has a rich variety (Fiano, Aglianico, Falanghina, etc.), but also with other important national wines.

Area information

The hotel is ideally located to allow for a variety of excursions into the beautiful, historically rich surroundings. Paestum and the archaeological zone are just 3 km away, whilst the railway station (4 km from the hotel) has trains that can take you to Salerno in 30 minutes, Pompei in 45 minutes and Naples in less than one hour. The archaeological site of Velia, the crystal-clear sea of Palinuro and Baia degli Infreschi are also less than an hour away.

The bus stop, from which buses leave regularly for Salernos, is 300 meters from the hotel. Once you are in Salernos, it is possible to take ferries to the islands in the Gulf of Naples (Capri, Ischia, Procida) sailing along the Amalfi Coast. There is also an efficient bus service for the Amalfi Coast, meaning that it is possible to visit the beautiful towns of Amalfi, Ravello and Positano.
