Palace Hotel San Michele  

The location at the top of the mountain is ideal - and the nearby old town of Monte Sant'Angelo is very special,

I selected this very modern hotel because it is at the top of the mountain and assumed I'd have a great view from my room, possibly even a terrace with a great view. I was given a terrible room with no view whatsoever - and when I asked for a nicer room, was told that only a few rooms had views and that they were booked. Now, there was almost no one else at the hotel - perhaps 2 other rooms occupied (only one other car to be seen at a place where you'd have to arrive by car) - and the front desk person mentioned the rate I was paying through booking.com. I have reserved many hotels with booking.com, and this was the first time I felt that the hotel would not give me a good room because of the booking.com rate! The next day, as I was looking to find the pool/terrace (which was closed off because it was off-season), I saw a wing of perhaps 6 or 7 nice rooms - all with beautiful views - which were empty and being cleaned. I can't get over how a hotel would prefer to keep their nicer rooms empty rather than accommodate a guest, even if they were paying the booking.com rate. Because of this poor attitude and service, I'd select a different hotel in the future and would never recommend it to others.

Needs some money spending on hotel in 5 days stay only had hot water on 2!!

nothing . poor food, no light in room, the hotel is nice but somthing is wrong

Location and free parking is good. Cleanliness is poor. There is a lot of dust especially below the bed.

Ein für die gesamte Region sehr schönes und angenehmes Hotel mit einem hohen Standard.

Il fatto che fosse in un paesini a 850 metri sul mare e quindi in pieno agosto si respirasse rispetto alla spiaggia.

Assolutamente non tornerei. Rapporto qualità-prezzo molto sfavorevole! Si definisce 4 stelle ma ne vale meno di 3! Solo qualche unità del personale si poteva salvare!

Excellent emplacement à côté du chateau ;

petits déjeuners avec peu de choix

locatie ; prachtig zicht en centraal om de gargano te verkennen; zwembad en kamer: ruim, verzorgd

Ontbijt was echt ondermaats en zeker niet op het niveau van een viersterrenhotel. Ook het diner was niet van hoge kwaliteit maar af en toe waren er wel positieve uitschieters. De gerant (of eigenaar) gaf een vrij nonchalante indruk en dit had zijn weerslag op de bediening.

Geograficamente puedo decir que es una maravilla, como belleza de epoca esta muy bien adaptado y han incorporado todas las comodidades actuales, en fin nuestra estadia la podemos valorizar con 10 puntos.
