The NH Palazzo Barocci faces Venice's Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge. The rooms have free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Piazza San Marco and La Fenice Theatre are less than just over half a mile away.

Featuring its own water landing for gondolas and water taxis, Hotel Bonvecchiati is a 5-minute walk from Saint Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge in Venice.
Score from 609 reviews Very good
It is located near the Rialto water bus pier, which is really convenient. But the Venician streets made it hard to find. The whole hotel was newly renovated and the room was clean. The food for breakfast was good.
No free WiFi, which made it inconvenient for customers. I don't know the rationale behind this.
Lovely big elegant suite. Every detail completed by staff including preparing the room for the night. Very dark and air conditioning perfect and quiet. Sleep in luxury.
No wifi so plan ahead
We stayed at the palace, room was massive and very comfortable. Loved our 3 nights there.
This was our first trip to Venice. I had researched hotels and selected Palace Bonvecchiati hoping it would be as good as I imagined. I would say it exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very nice with a great view. The hotel was very well kept. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
This hotel was excellent and would highly recommend it. I would definently stay here again too. Staff were all lovely and friendly to deal with, hotel had great facilities which is not common to do so in Venice, and it had a luxurious atmosphere that is lovely to enjoy. The hotel also invited us to complimentary drinks upon arrival. Thank you palace bonvecchiati for making our stay with you wonderful
The wifi is not free
We went for our honeymoon. On arrival we had a complimentary bottle of fizz chilled and waiting for us with 2 glasses. Located midway between the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco) it had a great location, was kept beautifully clean and the service was awesome. It has its own gondola service outside and a back entrance which opens onto the canal. Free use of the sauna/steam room was offered each day for 30 minutes but we didn't take advantage of this so can't tell you how nice it was.
The bar closed at 11 and the shower cubicle leaked - but they were going to fix that once they knew about it.
Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Food was great and lots of it. We would certainly recommend it and if we have a chance to return to Venice would absolutely stay there again. We loved everything about it.
Having to leave
The attention ( if we can call it like that) is light years away other hotels i have been. They are rude and lack manners in their approach to clients. I even felt intimidated a few times. Cosa nostra style. If you want advice go somewhere qhere they treat you nicely and not like junk food.
The location could not have been better and hotel was a wonderful surprise- modern & welcoming!
We had a meal in the restaurant but were not too impressed with the standard of the food, and thought it let the palac down. but breakfast was good and there was a good variety of choice
Very central location. Hotel restaurant has large outside terrace overlooking canal next to a pretty bridge/gondola stop. Arriving at the hotel door by boat is amazing.
Location Fresh n new hotel as compare to venice
Doesnt have feeling like palace
Very nice location close to San Marco Nice comfortable rooms Very clean and quiet to sleep Breakfast was good
An 4 star hotel in a tourist area in 2014 and no free WIFI ???? The WIFI you pay for is slow or not working. A good reason not to go to this hotel until they change it.
A lot of bugs on the bed No iron Poor breakfast Very little for the payment No internet
Modern hotel, very nice rooms with luxury ammenities. Breakfast buffet excelent. Very well located close to Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge
The guy at reception in the night shift was very rude when we arrived to the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at Palace Bonvecchiatti. On arrival our room was upgraded to a luxurious Junior Suite - pleasant surprise. Comfy beds and linen. Main entrance and guest lounge lovely and tranquil especially after a long day in the heat. Breakfast was good. Staff was friedly and helpful. Room and hotel very clean. Location is great and close to all major attraction spots.
Hotel is expensive- guess everything is expensive in Venice. The aircon in the room a bit noisy for light sleepers like us and no control panel in the room so couldn't adjust temperature to our liking. Other than this..this is fantastic hotel for a 4 star.
Fantastic , should go there
Location, clean, big rooms.
Please do not recommend Tratorria do Forni. It is very expensive, but the worst, the food and service are terrible. Unfortunately, we did not see the reviews of the restaurant before our visit and fell in the trap.
Clean and relatively small. Friendly and helpful staff
Breakfast is actually in the neighbouring busy hotel belonging to the chain. Breakfast was for masses - nothing special or of high quality. The view to the channel from the room may sound something nice, but actually means a lot of noise in the morning. The hotel was renovated throughly probably few years ago in "universal hotel style" lacking personality and ambiance.
Need more international tv chanels
good location, perfect service
I think at a 4star and 300 eur/night hotel, the free wifi should be a default service for travellers
Location is amazing..next to everything..loved every bit of the stay. Staff are friendly and Massage with Ricci is wow.
Wanted to stay another night because I missed my flight but still they managed to help find booking somewhere else.
Excellent location. Toiletries .
Size of room
The location was good, easy to get anywhere. Bed was comfortable.
No free Wifi, when I booked it wasn't clear that you had to pay for Wifi. The room was not what we expected. The woman staff member was rude. Very expensive. No ice available, going to charge €5 to deliver.
* rooms were cleaned twice a day * we had a superior junior suite which was very spacious * right in the heart of Venice. All the tourists can be a bit overwhelming but if you want to stay in a nice hotel in the heart of town this is for you
