We booked in the residence but were given up upgrade to a hotel room. Not sure if it was an upgrade but it was an excellent room nonetheless. Staff were very good and helpful and breakfast was excellent but no free wifi.
No free wifi.
We enjoyed the location..prime, in the middle of everything and 2 min walk from realto bridge and Sanmarco. The hotel is overpriced so paying for Internet was annoying. When we asked for room service, they charge extra money to bring our order upstairs! Overall is clean and serves a good breakfast
Arrangments for the visit to Murano.
Terrible problem faced in finding the long way to the Breakfast.
The location of the hotel was great for being near the main attractions. Yet, we could get quickly to quieter areas for a more authentic feel for Venice. Our room was nice and plenty big for three.
Location and comfort room
Venize luggage carriage!
Excellent location - 5 minutes from Rialto and 5 min. from San Marco. Very helpful and polite concierge.
Breakfast variety not suffient. When I asked for fried egg, I was told that I could take scrambled eggs, everyting extra had to be paid separately. No hot water on Sunday evening and Monday morning
The room is very big.
They didn't offer free wifi.
the location of this hotel was perfect. The room I booked was very spacious and well appointed but extremely expensive.
No free Wifi - Really, in this day and age and at the high room charges!! The restaurant was closed for dinner for re-furbishment with no prior warning. As a solo traveller I needed the safety of using the hotel for dinner and was very annoyed that it was closed.
hotel, location, staff.
very noisy room.
The location of the hotel is perfect and close to the main tourist attraction, especially Place Saint Marc. The rooms are nice, quite and perfect. The staff is helpfull, and very professional.
The restaurant is at the other hotel, and a bit expensive, eventhough you get 20% discount as a guest.
location, bed, room, breakfast, no complaints at all.
view on the next wall, Venice is expensive, not the hotel
What a lovely stay we had and thank you to all the staff for being so attentive. We also received an upgrade for our anniversary to a room with a magnificent balcony overlooking the romantic streets of Venice! We will most definitely return.
Location, rooms and breakfast were wonderful. Close to all the major sights. Front desk was good about helping with tours and restaurant recommendations. Sometimes they seemed too busy but they came through on each request.
Internet was a mess. I didn't mind paying for it but it never worked. I kept having to start over till I finally realized it works best in the lobby. Also, with a hotel of this caliber coffee making facilities in the room would be nice.
I love the location. The hotel is close to St Marks Square (10 mins walk) and Rialto Brigde (10 mins walk too). The hotel is modern but not very large. There are many restaurants nearby, but given the mixed feelings about the integrity of Venetian restaurants, I would not recommend. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and the selection is good.
Wi-fi is not free of charge. Upon check-out, the staff told me the city tax can only be settled in cash, seperating from my room charges!
I stayed with my family - 2 adults, 2 children (15 & 13) in October 2014. The Palace was well suited for our needs. A great modern hotel (with everything that works) which in a city like Venice is a bonus. We organised with the hotel a private guide to meet us at the hotel to take us around for 3 hours the first day which set us up for the rest of our trip. Well worth it. Lots of good restaurants and cafe's all around the hotel. Reception able to organise water taxi pick ups and drop offs as well. - Modern hotel - Very close to San Marco Square - Large individual rooms - Interconnecting rooms - Very helpful staff - Nice small bar - Good breakfast
Nothing great 5 days.
Good locarion , clean room , friendly staff
Very poor breakfast!
- Room Size are big enough. - Room service. - Helping staff. - Location.
- No water boiler. - No complimentary coffe nor water bottles. - paid wifi.
The junior suite on the canal.
Wi-fi charges. At this price wi-fi should be free.
Ideal location on the Rialto (2 mins)-St.Mark's Square (5 mins) trail. Contemporary rooms in a traditional structure, excellent design and comfort.
Utilises the restaurant facilities of its sister hotel Bonvecchiati, adjoined through a number of corridors and a couple of lifts which could become uncomfortable for guests with disabilities. Limited choice at buffet breakfast
Hotel room was excellent with a great bathroom and was very clean. Hotel staff was very helpful. Overall a nice boutique hotel which can make the stay in Venice quite good. The location is excellent as well as you are quite close to St Marco Square which makes it difficult for you to get really lost if you are unfamiliar with Venice.
Had to pay for the use of the internet which just made no sense coupled with the fact that the internet did not work very well. Also had an issue with my phone working at the hotel however the minute I stepped outside the hotel all was well with my phone. The internet should certainly be free. Also for the business travellers the hotel could probably get a printer because otherwise you keep on having to disturb the font desk staff to get documents printed.
Very kind staff to upgrade to jr. suite since we were staying 6 nights. Accommodated requests graciously.
Wi Fi stinks. Slow and overloaded
good location great breakfast very modern room
stayed four days had to leave day early kept 50% of last day gave them a two day notice
