Location, ancient/historic feel of the hotel, tower with great views of Florence, adequate price for the services offered.
We had to change the room - after lots of discussions with the management - as we had no hot water on our 2nd night of the visit.
Location was great...the hotel needed a bit of upgrading but the beds were very comfortable. So all in all it was a pretty good place to be in florence
The view from the top of the tower (and tower bar) of Florence is magnificent. Worth staying there just for that. Location is fantastic. Room was adequate, breakfast was good and staff was good. The tower is the best.
Our room was over an alley that had a lot of noise early in the morning.
Great staff, great location, very good breakfast. Recommendations for restaurants excellent. Able to get us last minute reservations for museums
A hotel with loads of character and Charm. A quirky roof top bar with spectacular views, friendly and very helpful staff
Nothing to dislike
they wrote, that parking is avaliable - yes, it is, but the prize is 27 eur per night!
Charm and wonderful location and staff
Great view from the rooftop
Friendly, helpful staff. Location is very central -close to Ponte Veccia and other places of interest. Hotel organise tours and taxis on request. Roof terrace has excellent views across the city. Breakfast is 'okay' - no hot food.
The room was small, slightly grubby and needed some attention. Difficult to get in and out of the bath, because the shower screen did not move! Tables in breakfast room too small and close together. Toaster only partially worked.
The staff is fantastic and very helpful. The location cant be beat. The rooftop views are breathtaking. Will definitely return to stay
location, décor, tower bar, staff
breakfast was a little hectic with tour groups, etc.
This hotel is shabby chic, really get the feeling of being in an old villa. I liked that for two days but chose to move on after that. I like to try lots of hotels anyway. The bar and tower are great fun, but you don't have to be staying there to use it.
It was fine but i prefer a more upscale hotel.
Reception Ambience Location Breakfasts
Rooms at 3rd florr may be a bit loud around breakfast time
The location of this hotel is great. All the key sites are withing easy walking distance. The staff were all helpful, friendly and polite and the roof terrace at the top of the tower was a great place to have drink at the end of a hard day's sightseeing. Breakfasts were very good.
Room didn't have a 'view' other than into an internal courtyard - but the compensation was that the noise levels were low for such a central location.
A unique hotel with a lovely helpful and pleasant staff. Located within walking distance to many major attractions. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel or stay there again!!
The staff was great, especially the breakfast women! The view from the roof was sensational!! Great location!
The key and door lock were difficult.
Everything. We were here 2 years ago and returned and stayed longer
nothing to dislike
Beautiful, historic building with unique atmosphere. Room was nicely appointed, neat and comfortable. Beautiful rooftop view! Nice breakfast. Very convenient location with easy walk to many desireable locations.
Unusual bathtub, somewhat awkward.
The tower with 360 view over Florence is worth the stay. Good value for your money.
Good location, nice staff, amazing living room and rooftop
Our room was suite like, grande, and included a canopy bed with a chandelier over the bed. So comfortable and just lovely. The roof tower is amazing for wine & views. No need to stand on line at the Duomo with the view available here.
The staff were lovely - very friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size and very quiet and dark when the shutters were drawn (not always the case in Italy!), air con was perfect, great shower pressure. The tower was my favourite part - a must-see!
Nothing, this hotel was perfect for our needs.
Great location. Beautiful view of the city. Warm and helpful staff!
A bit pricey, but generally worth it.
Incredibly kind and considerate staff. Nothing too much trouble. Fantastic sitting room and tower with great views. Good breakfasts. Location 5 mins walk from Ufizzi and Ponte Vecchio. Quiet at night. AC worked well.
Rooms and bathrooms slightly cramped.
