The location is quite good !! just few minutes walk from the dom. Nice restaurant and supermarket nearby. Room are also good and comfortable.

Better to e-mail the check-in time before arrival. We waited the staff in front of door around 30min.

The apartment facing the street takes in all of the sounds from the street, which can be a bit noisy at night. That said, we will absolutely stay here in the future.

Our hostess Francesca made us feel so welcome when we arrived, taking time to tell us where all the great restaurants ( and she was certainly spot on) and places of interest were located. The apartment was immaculately clean and well appointed - lovely linen and bath products also. We felt totally at home and enjoyed the space that the apartment gave us , having been cramped in a typical Rome hotel for the previous 3 days. If you are going to Florence - pay the few euros extra an stay at this wonderful place - Palazzo Alfani should not be missed if you enjoy being spoiled !

The only minor downside was the couple of flights of stairs - but this is common in most historic buildings and a small price to pay.

Francesca, our hostess, was so friendly, competent and helpful - she really made us feel welcome, and gave us spot-on tips for friendly family restaurants as well as fine dining, how to find laundromats, supermarkets, gelaterias, everything. The apartment was just beautiful with fantastic bathroom and kitchen facilities as well as a sitting room and double bedroom. It was also full of period features and lovely, comfortable furnishings. Our particular apartment looked out on a quiet, peaceful garden, which was very soothing after coping with the vast crowds at the Uffizi and other tourist attractions. It was also no problem to organise a different check-in time to fit with our travel arrangements.

The neighbours include some students, who on a couple of nights of our stay were a little noisy. We didn't mind because the noises were cheerful and they were quiet by midnight but others could find this a bit tiresome.

Отличное местоположение. Приятная семья хозяев отеля.Интернет работает хорошо. Хорошо оборудованные кухня и ванная комната. Огромные окна выходят в очень приятный внутренний дворик с огромными старыми деревьями. Все это дает возможность почуствовать себя средневековым горожанином. Замечательная хозяйка Франческа. Чувствуешь себя не чужим человеком а гостем. Есть русская программа по ТВ.

Обещанной росписи на потолке мы не обнаружили. Вместо шикарных номеров со старинной росписью и джакузи.был старинный дом с хорошим ремонтом. и старой мебелью и протертым до дыр ковриком. В номере специфический запах старой мебели и пыли. Потолки больше 3 метров и наверное поэтому трудно менять шторы. На них сантиметр пыли. Место историческое . Но астматикам и аллергикам не рекомендуем. Обострение гарантировано. Трудно первый раз попасть в дом. Рекоментуем позвонить от входной двери то телефону

Nos encantó el lugar. Un apartamento amplio, muy cómodo, muy bien equipado. Todo funcionó perfecto. Esta a 2 cuadras del Duomo, enfrente (cruzando la calle) del David, a 30m de un supermercado. Francesca la dueña es muy amable tambien. Muy recomendable.

Favoloso!!! Le camere sono come da foto, appartamento bellissimo, grandissimo e vicino al duomo. Cucina attrezzata, bagno molto bello con doccia idromassaggio, stanze pulitissime e letto molto confortevole. Francesca è gentilissima e molto disponibile. Ritorneremo a firenze e ovviamente a Palazzo Alfani.

Très bonne situation géographique. Le concept de l'appartement est plutot attractif avec son salon/cuisine qui procure une sensation d'espace et le sentiment d'être un Florentin comme les autres. La literie procure de bonnes sensations et la salle de bain est jolie et fonctionnelle.

Un petit détail : la tv propose des chaines cablées croates, chinoises, ouzbeck.... Mais pas une seule chaine française sur 200 (même pas Tv5). Le ménage n'a pas été fait le deuxième jour.

Hotel is quiet. It's located close to the main church of the city (Duomo), close to the station. It's not on a noisy street, and it is located directly opposite the Accademia Gallery.

As for disadvantages, they are not a lot, for example, in the week have never changed the bed linen. In the apartment 1 bedroom and 1 living room, the room for a maximum of three persons. Impressions are positive.

The location was excellent, and the apartment was very clean and the cleaner was lovely. Air conditioning was a real bonus.

I had booked a large apartment at the back which had been discounted on booking.com, when we arrived we were given a smaller one at the front with only one bedroom. We were told that it had been allocated based on price and they were full so very disappointed. The bathroom/toilet was accessed through the bedroom so it really only worked for family groups. The sofabed was not comfortable for any more than a couple of nights. Also the internet connection was poor and kept dropping out. The worst thing was the noise from the street. People queue to get into the Accademia outside from very early in the morning (7 onwards).
