The hotel is centrally located with only a 5 min walk to Ponte Rialto, a key transportation node in Venice. The staff with English fluency is extremely helpful with early check-ins, if feasible, and city orientation to the various modes of transportation (i.e. water bus/vaperetto, water taxi, gondola, city bus, train or airplane). It can be confusing for the first-time traveler and having a hotel that understands this is very comforting. The price is very affordable for the high quality of accommodation and service received. The cable does not have any English-language channels, only Italian. It would be nice if the hotel received at least one channel in English like BBC or CNN news. |

The hotel was run in a most efficient, but delightfully understated way - it proved to be an oasis of calm in a busy city The bed was too hard and gave both me and my wife backache |

Attentive, welcoming staff. Large, clean, comfortable room decorated to a high standard with carefully selected fixtures and fittings. It is a converted palace and our room had a balcony overlooking a typical Venetian square. Very difficult to find initially. |

The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the room was newly refurbished, comfortable and clean. It was also very spacious for a hotel room in Venice. The location was ideal, within walking distance of the vaporetto and all major sites. |

Good location. Very nice room. Helpful staff Initially hard to find - main entrance is located in the center of what appears to be a dark alley. Rooms are great but no elevators can be an issue for someone who has mobility problems |

Room and service it is very good. Important: the Hotel rents room cost twice!!! The first time at booking, and then at departure. The hotel promises return of the money resources blocked at booking on a credit card within a month. In a month the Hotel does not return money resources and does not answer letters. |

Very friendly and helpful staff, exquiste room decor, charming atmosphere, great location off quaint little plaza, felt secure, updated and modern bath but they also remodled in such a way that the history of Venice was still very much alive. Hard to find upon arrival--no outdoor sign or address! |

The map and directions sent with the booking confirmation were excellent - we walked from the Rialto steps directly to the front door. The standard of the room was excellent and very good value for the money. The 24 hour reception staff were courteous and very helpful. |

The location was great! Our room was comfortable and provided all that we needed for this trip. We would stay here again. Breakfast was provided as an option. This was nice, but it was a bit pricey. |

Our room was good size and had very nice old typical Venetian ceiling, which make room very romantic. The bed was comfortable, but it wasn’t double mattress as we expected just 2 singles. The bathroom was bright, clean and had hair dryer. Air conditioning was working properly so it was pleasure to stay there. |

A free upgrade to a suite at no extra cost was a very pleasant surprise. The staff (Umberto in particular) were extremely helpful - offering useful advice on local attractions / amenities. Fully remote controlled air conditioning also ensured absolute comfort in a beautiful room furnished to a very high standard indeed. |

Very central location -everthing in walking distance. Our room was lovely, large suite at a very reasonable rate. This hotel was a great bargain and I would recommend to all They have recently started serving continental breakfast - which wasn't great, although i'm sure this will improve. |

The location is difficult to find, hidden in a secondary corner street in the Campo Santa Marina Square, without any indication. |

Large, comfortable, clean room. Very quiet and central location. Excellent value. As others have said, not easy to find, but once you have, the location could hardly be more central. Breakfast wasn't included and really not worth the money - though the dining room was lovely! |
