Nära de kulturmål vi ville besöka, främst det normandiska slottet och katedralen.

Palermo mycket slitet och ruffigt i detta område. Hotellet i detta avseende en mondän och fashionabel ö i ett helt annorlunda grannskap.Svårt att hitta anständiga restauranger i området och hotellet serverar endast dyr, söt frukost som room service. Managern verkar inte tala engelska urtan överlåter kontakten med oss till en underordnad flicka som hjälpligt tar sig fram på engelska. F ö intar han en överlägsen attityd utom mot italienska vänner .Bookingbetyg se Il Carmine

Fräscha rum och bra beläget hotell. Ingen frukost men det går att ordna frukost från ett närbeläget cafe, helt ok men det kostar ca 150 kr för två för kaffe, smörgås och en youghurt. Parkering är en stor fördel om du är bilburen, det är ont om parkeringsplatser i Palermo.

Very tricky to find by road using Google Maps (you end up in a market). Ask the hotel for directions which are much easier.

The hotel is very nice. The breakfast is delicious. People at the hotel are very kind. The relation of quality and price is fair.

Some rooms on the second floor have no lift, no help provided in this case. Breakfas good but not excellent.

Beautiful hotel. If you go by car be sure to approach via Via Maqueda and then via del Ponticello.

very disturbing and loud noise starting at 6.30 am !!!!!!! maybe due to construction works in the hotel.

Beautiful designer hotel, true Italian style. In the heart of Palermo, great for a city break, very comfortable, very professional staff.

Depending on what you are looking for the hotel is situated right next to a market and bar that is busy throughout day and night.

Very minor details like not enough light in one of the bathrooms, and of soap dishes on the showers

You cannot find it on the sat nav, had an email to call them, but when we did they were not very helpful!! Also the area of the hotel is not great a lot of rubbish in the streets, markets all day and night so was noisy and seemed to be a lot of people hanging around the streets, would not have felt safe if I had been on my own

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very tastefully designed.

The location is terrible, almost impossible to find (let alone by car) and it's very scary to walk there, especially at night time. It seems like all the thought went into designing the hotel, and nothing went to comfort. The plumming goes through the wall behind the bed, so going to the bathroom at night wakes up your counterpart. The floor is made out of marble, which is beautiful, but with no carpets in the room it' s so cold you'll need to bring your sleepers with you. There are countless other examples, but I think the point is clear.

This hotel is situated in a relatively quiet and pretty piazza compared to the surrounding hustle,and parking is easy on site. There is a great market for food lovers around the corner. As we were two friends travelling , we booked a junior suite which was clearly advertised on booking.com as having a double bed and a sofa bed.On arrival , there was only a double bed in the room, and we were told that you have to specially request 2 beds, so watch out for this glitch! (Booking.com,please take note) The hotel was full ,but they kindly provided a mattress so that we could be accommodated without having to share a bed! The staff were very helpful, the hotel is beautiful, and we would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel - old palace completely updated, great art, lovely lounge bar... we had a bi-level room with the bedroom upstairs via an internal staircase! Location is very central. Easy walk to several of the markets, downtown monuments, and restaurants.

Location is still a little dodgy though getting better.

The hotel was beautifully finished in every way and could no fault any of its facilities.The staff could not have been more obliging quite an oasis in city like Palermo with so much history like Naples, we felt quite safe to walk around the streets day and night,

It is a former Palazzo, converted to a very high standard, big comfortable mordern style rooms. The hotel is in the old part and within walking distant to most historical buildings, also one of the Mercado's is just behind. The new restaurant was very good and handy, since the nearest restaurant was 10 min walk. We were lucky with car parking right outside the hotel, in high season not possible.

Dirty streets near the hotel, a lot of african, pakistan, etc. emigrants, old not renovated buildings.

Great room. Professional staff. Great shower. Good restaurant attached.

Location bit out of the way to restaurants and attractions. Parking provided but presents some challenges with larger car. Lucky when we left square was empty and easy to leave, not so at all times.

This hotel is amazing! We travelled all over Italy and this was the most beautiful accommodation.

Felt very unsafe outside. We did not leave the hotel except during the hours of 12 - 3. Seriously scary.

Location. Very close to everything one would want to see in Palermo. And the garage for the car was key to keeping us relaxed about the security in the neighborhood. Excellent, helpful staff, delicious breakfast. Really pleasant trip.

Because of the excellent location, it is a bit of a challenge to navigate the one-way streets and find the hotel - especially when there are so many streets closed due to pedestrian-only areas and markets. You really need to use the suggested gps destination of Piazza Casa Professora, and call the hotel to find the best way to approach the hotel - or you will end up driving through a street market. They speak excellent English and are extremely helpful with directions.
