The Cardinal Cezi is more of a palace than a hotel. The courtyard entrance area is spectacular and must be like an oasis in a desert during the Summer. The rooms are very well appointed, staff courteous, and the breakfast very wholesome. |

The location of this hotel is perfect. It is just only some meters before Vatican court. Yes, absolutely! The noise from other people in the other rooms are unbelievable. There is no chance to relax. This the first of the two reasons which I personally do not suggest the reservation on this hotel. WI-FI never works and the breakfast is very poor. |

We enjoyed the convenience of being so close to the Vatican. The rooms were always cleaned beautifully, the windows allowed for full privacy. The staff was courteous and friendly. I wish the bellboy would have explained where and what some of the buttoms were for. It took us awhile to find the button to lower the window shades. The bathrooms were very clean but compact in space. It might be difficult for taller or bigger people to maneuver around. |

Staff very friendly and helpful. Yes, in room for breakfast the tables are facing the other guests, so that when you are eating your breakfast you are looking across at complete strangers. very little privacy and room too small |

Very near St. Peters, so very good for theVatican. Clean rooms. Breakfasts okay, but expected better for the money. Also bathrooms very small. Reception not a great help on last morning when we needed a taxi to the station, there was a race outside and so there was no access for cars, suggested we caught a bus rather than telling us where nearest taxi would be available. It took us about one and half hours to get to the station. |

The hotel has the special atmosphere of a palace and is very close to Vatican. You feel yourself really in Rome. It seems the ventilation in the rooms could be better. |

(1) Location.. Location.. Location. Our main purpose is to visit the Vatican Museum & St Peter's.. The hotel location is absolutely perfect as it's literally in front of St Peter's Square. We were able to see St Peter's at day & night. (2) I felt very safe at this location (3) Staff are very friendly & helpful. My friend had a 7 am flight, she had to leave at 4 am. When requesting for taxi pick-up, front desk staff said she can't leave with an empty stomach and had a breakfast box packed for her when checking out at 4 a.m.!! So very thoughtful!! (4) Extremely comfortable bed & bed linens. (1) Street Noise - It's end of Nov, no air-con and too warm for central heating. We slept with windows opened. Our room is on the 2/F facing a back street, but it's still pretty noisy. Think it should be OK when air-con or central heating is on and windows looks as if it can block out the noise. (2) Perhaps we had standard double, the bathroom is pretty small and the shower cabinet really cramp, even compared to budget hotels in Tokyo, But you have everything you need inside and it's pretty clean. |

Location is excellent - just on the corner of St. Peter's Square. Very quiet at night. Bedroom and bathroom small for the price but very comfortable. Selection at breakfast very poor considering the price charged per night. |
