Location in the city center Helpful and flexible staff Good recommendations for food and excursions Beautiful views from main room and some guest rooms. Nice, big bathrooms

Not a good mattress, very saggy and needs to be replaced. Hard to find location the first time

TOP class, the Palazzo is realy noble and you will feel like the prince. Despite the historic frescoes and georgeous interier, the bathroom and other equipment is modern and fanttatsic. It´s even better than on photos. Free minibar, icemaker in the room, bathtube for 2, wifi fast, brekafest in lodge. The Stephanie helped us to find good restaurants - best is the La Pentolaccia is 100m from the Palazzo. Recommedation: by the dinner we found wines from Montemercucio winnery- is 2,5km from the centre of Montepulciano and you should visit them - managed by 2 brothers, who started in 2007 to continue grandpa work. Startes as teenagers and create excelent wines, grapa. Ask them for the story of Vinsanto 1986 and you will see the modern fairy tale.

Just small issue - we were close the server room and the cooling was quite noisy hovewer after nice diner and excelent wines, you will drop off anyhow :-)

Great location, beautiful decor and design, very comfortable, excellent service

One or two elements were designed to look fabulous at the expense of practicality.

Room comfortable, and 18 year old daughter had her own loft room. Eat dinner at Osteria Acquacheta - via del Teatro 22 - brilliant!!

Airconditioner was broken and we could not switch it off. It did not work in our room but only in the loft room and was directly onto the bed so my poor daughter had to sleep in thick jersey as she was ice cold. There was only 1 staff member who went away in the afternoons for a siesta and left at 7pm in the evenings, so there was no one to contact to help us switch off the airconditioner. Also not allowed to leave our suitcases in hotel after check out because the staff member goes away for her siesta. Unacceptable for a 4 star hotel!

The room was stunning with fresco's on the roof and the turkish bath/sauna was exceptional. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the location was brilliant, the recommendations for dinner and visiting wine cellars were spot on

The hotel is in the historic center and very nice traditional/modern room. Good staff service and helpful for avoiding the ztl.

The food for the breakfast is not well compared to the nice hotel standard. The parking area is little bit far.

The service and room were amazing. I had several questions and a booking issue, but the concierge was so patient and helpful

The double bed was 2 beds pushed together and they were a little too firm

Wonderful rooms and ever so helpful staff in beautiful Montepulciano. Second stay and it won't be the last!

Parking was better when behind the hotel but the new parking isn't too far and is still free. Would recommend dropping bags at hotel before parking

Excellent location and beautiful Hotel, one of the finest we have stayed in while visiting Italy. Will definitely return. Wonderful breakfast with beautiful and gracious hostess.

We loved the splendor of the high ceilings and the Turkish bath that was attached to our room. We also liked the breakfast served in our room every day and the attentiveness to our requests for changes in the contents of what was served. The hotel host was very helpful and helped us book restaurants and plan our trip in the city and surrounding area. Also, just opposite the hotel we dinned at a little pizzeria that is always nice to have if you arrive late. All in all a wonderful and memorable stay.

The water pressure is a little low. OK for a shower but takes a little to long to fill the bath. Yes, I know we are a pampered couple, but that is why we picked this hotel in the first place :) In any case, I mentioned this to the hotel owners and I hope that they will find a way to fix this minor issue.

This was a unique, once in a lifetime, luxury stay. Christian, and now Louisa, made us feel extremely welcome - nothing was too much trouble. The location is bella bella steeped in history. The Palazzo is just how it looks on the net, quite magnificent.

Cristian the manager was very helpful. The room was very comfortable and the decor and setting were interesting.

It was a lovely hotel, not much to dislike. There is no elevator which can be challenging, but not the end of the world

Cristian, our host for four wonderful nights, is engaging and very helpful with local dinner reservations and ideas for touring the area. Must see Pienza, Volterra, Siena and Montalcino while staying in Montepulciano. Beautiful and simple continental breakfast each morning included. No elevator may be an issue but its an easy two flights to reach the rooms.

Beautiful decor, amazing location, nice breakfast and friendly, helpful management.

We loved being in Montepulciano. The temperature of the room was not as cool as I expected with air conditioning. Laundry prices were very high.
