Overall, the stay was enjoyable n the breakfast was quite good(except it doesn't have a salad bar).
The floor was terrazo, so it was quite intolerable to walk on...
Fantastic location & Great value, room with canal view organised flowers in room at short notice.. Very helpful and friendly staff..
Double bed is actually two singles.. Uncomfortable when in middle.. This was only negative.. 4 poster bed so do not expect it to be single matresses
Location was convenient
I made the RSVP because the pictures shows big rooms and bed and when I went... room was so small. No curtains on beds... not even close to the pictures..
Location was excellent for us - about 10min walk from train station so no need to catch ferry with luggage nor wheel through busy streets. Room was spacious and bathroom was modern. Staff was very helpful and free breakfast was very good. Location is away from San Marco and busy areas of Venice, but suited us as quiet but not far away, with short walking distance to ferry stops.
Only 1 comment - Wi-Fi was not included in room rate. Still cheap at 5 euros per day but a little annoying to have as add-on cost. Otherwise excellent experience.
Great location, very helpful stuff, clean and nice room
It is a nice hotel, very close to the railway station. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fine.
It was cold, the system of heating did not help us much. I just do not like feeling cold and putting on a lot of clothes while I am sleeping.
Location was off the beaten track on a quiet canal. The staff were more than happy to supply gluten free products for breakfast and looked after us very well! We stayed in the Junior Suite and the room was fantastic with a balcony and view over the canal. The bed was hard but that's what we're used to at home so very comfortable! Would highly recommend.
- offer free breakfast - nice room and bathroom
the room is not warm enough for cold weather
Very well positioned close to the railway station, nice room, very clean. Good price for quality. Would certainly go back again.
The room was cold, despite the heating. We requested extra pillows and had to call the reception to receive them. The breakfast staff was not particularly attentive.
Within walking distance of train station in a quiet part of the city with really good non-touristy places to eat with non-touristy prices! right by the water. very nice and helpful staff. Bed didn't seem to be comfy, but my husband and I both slept really well. Very clean. We will definitely stay here when we go again!
Breakfast was ok
First the hot water cut off after first day so water wasnt hot. But the beds were two twin beds put together and kept coming apart in the middle of the night. Wasnt very warm inside during winter. And the front desk never told me about paying for wifi until it it was time for me to check out but other people got it for free!
Comfortable room, friendly staff who gave us a lot of suggestions to visit Venice.
No free wifi
The location is close to walk with your luggage from the train station and also to the Boat Bus station on the grand canal. The rooms are quite large with a good bathroom, considering Venice usually tight buildings. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Bed mattress is the orthopedic type that feels too hard. Wish they had a softer top and plush pillows.
+ Great location +Nice view of the canals +Cozy and well decorated +Good price +Very friendly staff
- The beds are absolutely terrible. The bed felt like a stiff spring forest. -Noisy restaurant right next to sleeping rooms. - WiFi is slow and difficult to connect to.
- Very close to the train station and water bus stop - nice decoration, nice view from a canal view room
- took us to a wrong room 1 grade down) and told us that this is what we booked. My mom and aunt had to spend one night in a wrong room. Turns out, it was their mistake. - breakfast can be bit better
Room was warm and cosy, and close to bars and restaurants.
Was alittle noisy at times.
•Great location •Friendly staff •Everyone speaks English •Breakfast a lot better than reviews here had me believe •Great value for money
Great area. Staff really helpful. Breakfast choice was limited but very plentiful. Very easy to get to and from the airport.
Breakfast room a bit of a squeeze.
Close to train station On Cannaregio Canal Balcony (some rooms) Price, for Venice In a local area for the experience, but close to all restaurants and tourist areas
Breakfast room small and crowded, no toaster No heating
Room more like an apartment Balcony overlooking the canal Bottle of wine (nice wine) at arrival Excellent location; near everything but just slightly off the beaten track so not too busy.
Easy walk to the train station. Bar next door was better than in town. Great staff. Ask for food recommendations
Breakfast area is crowded. Eat early.
Beside the hotel is the pub with happy hour which very noisy during the happy hour of the pub. So you want to choose the happy hour drink promotion just next door of the hotel or good hotel in venice. ha ha ha...
Flat walk to the hotel about 10 min from the station, no stairs, located away from the heavy tourist areas. A hotel with personality, quality personnel and a few unexpected extras
No laundry service, having to pay for wifi (E10 for the duration of stay)
Very good Location, nice staff
The hotel was friendly, very helpful receptionists, we had reserved a superior double at the front overlooking the canal and a 4 poster bed which is just what I wanted .......Great view of canal life. Modern bathroom , a safe in room too.Good breakfast, lovely coffee machine . Would stay here again for sure .
Could be slightly noisy from loudish customers in bar next door at night but ear plugs did the trick..
