Hotel it self was good. Staff was brilliant. Very helpful.
I was with my husband and we were provided with two single beds joined together causing discomfort. The hotel is bit far.
Remodeled 15th century room, ornate high ceilings, quality feel and decor, large bathroom with spa bath
Shower can easily splash the bathroom floor making it slippery
Good location, much better than staying in a hotel
Historic building near centre, large apartments , ideal for families or those wanting to avoid two hotel rooms
EXCELENT EXPERIENCE !
The residential area of Castello is away from the tourist crowds but within easy walking distance of everywhere. The local bars and osteria are wonderful, and you can mix with Venetians rather than fellow tourists. The Palazzo is beautifully situated on a small canal, and feels elegant and stately, but homely at the same time.
Location is great, garden and palace are absolutely stunning The bathrom is absolutely great and the apparent wood ceiling in the aparent gives a feeling of old and classy but the the interior design could have been improved with more "small and special things" reinforcing the feeling of a highly stylish and classy accomodation, which this palace really is
The interior design o the apartment could have been slightly better. It's a bit "simple" for the quality of the palace
In a quiet neighborhood, we loved the high ceilings, stone building, large courtyard and garden area. Fascinated with the water taxis ability to take us from the cruise ship and drop us off at the back door. Ten minute walk west to the hustle of the Rialto bridge or 10 minute walk south to the busy main plaza. Very good wifi.
It was very hard to dislike a chance to stay in a modernized 15th century home with warm caring staff.
Very nice old building, away from the busy area. the apartment is large and a lot of space for family and friends. The reception is very helpful
though it take bat 15-20 minutes to walk from the central San Marco, the route is complicate and we got loss twice. In the end we take a water taxi tot he train station because it will up too much time to wait for the shuttle boat (not very frequent) and long path to drag our luggages.
We were there for one night so I booked an apartment. We were on the ground floor where our door opened up onto their beautiful garden. We has plenty of privacy and the apartment itself was lovely and packed with amenities. David at the main office was wonderfully helpful and considerate. He suggested we leave our bags and go out to lunch immediately as restaurants were in danger of closing until dinner. He suggested a few places for lunch and a couple of gelato places. When we returned from a lovely lunch, our bags had been taken to our room. Really great service and beautiful hotel in a nice location.
Breakfast was slightly expensive although that is the trend for Venice.
good value for money, Not so happy with the surcharge to use the kitchen but we were not intending to for a major meal anyway
location was a bit off the beaten path, and for the people not familiar with Venice the place is a maze. I felt like the Minitour was just around the corner as we wondered aimlessly trying to find the hotel and the city center from the hotel.
I was so pleased with the staff. They were very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, directions and maps.
I would have preferred two bedrooms with a queen bed in each room as we were 2 couples traveling together, we were put in an apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 of which had a single bed!
Stunning apartment they made 2 deluxe cots for our 2 year olds and aparment so beautiful when we were in the apartment during the evening we did not feel we were missing out!
Nothing loved it all!
hotel is fantastic. old traditional building, fabulous rooms. a hidden gem!
very poor quality of toiletry. only one piece of soap, no slippers. breakfast is extra but not worth it for the money.
I liked that the hotel was away from the tourist areas. It was very pretty with a lot of character.
Friendly staff. Good clean apartments wonderful lounge close to restaurants andc12mins st marks square. Recommend to any traveller
The apartment is quite spacious for a family of six.
We are a Canadian family first time come to Venice. This service apartment is in Excellent location, We was live in 5th. Floor two bedrooms apartment, for four days. The apartment is really huge two wash rooms and a bonus roof top balcony. One bedroom the beds easy to separate from a queen sized bed to two single beds. Linen and beds spread are very clean. Good and strong air-conditioner make room comfortably cool. The staffs are very nice and very helpful. Only problem is internet. The internet often stop working and some time very slow even in the mid night. We will come back again. All the best to the owner.
Loved every minute. Not one thing would I ask to be changed.
The staff were excellent-- friendly and helpful. Having 2bathrooms was a seldom seen lluxury in Italy. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast area is beautiful.
Location very difficult to find. We stayed two nights and were disappointed to discover that we would have to pay 50 Euro to use the kitchen for those 2 days. That took away much of the purpose for renting an apartment.
the ceiling is low
Excellent hotel, large rooms, private garden (!), really good choice
The location in the Castello area of Venice is away from the tourist hub and feels authentic. It was wonderful to eat and drink with the locals, and visit the local shops for our provisions. Yet it is only a ten or fifteen minutes stroll to St Mark's Square . What a haven to come home to in the evening. The Palazzo was beautiful, so were the views, the public areas, the apartment, the garden and courtyard. Everything lived up to our expectations so much, that I am returning soon!
Beautiful, charming palazzo in a quiet location. Clean and spacious rooms.Very friendly and supportive staff. It is located in 15 minutes walking distance from the St. Marco square, but it can be an advantage if you would like to explore Venice.
Friendly staff, The building it self makes you feel that you are living in ancient times.
