Palazzo Del Duca

L’accueil est très sympathique et prévenant. le cadre est magnifique et la situation idéale tout est près à pieds. Très bonne isolation phonique et très bonne literie ....l'idéal pour se reposer après la journée de marche dans les rues de Rome!

le petit déjeuner est un peu limite

- Localisation idéale dans le centre historique - Excellente isolation phonique (utile car rue très bruyante) - Magnifique salon / salle-à-manger - Lit très confortable - Alessandra m'a bien aidé lorsque tous mes papiers ont été volés

- Salle de bain un peu dépassée (baignoire avec rideau plastique, robinets usés sans indication eau chaude - eau froide) - Wifi non disponible dans la chambre - Télévison petite et ne marchait plus; j'ai dû bricoler un peu - Petit déjeuner décevant

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié : - L'accueil et la gentillesse d'Alessandra, la propriétaire de l'établissement. - La situation : tout près de la place Navonne, et proche de tous les grands centres d'intérêts de Rome. - Le calme dans notre chambre grâce à des vitrages efficaces. - Le confort du lit et de la chambre.

Les croissants du petit déjeuner sont en pré-emballés.

Très bonne situation. Hôtesse accueillante et disponible. Magnifique salon. Alessandra, sei molto simpatica e la tua casa è molto bella.

Le petit-déjeuner est à dire peu scandaleux! Croissants caoutchouteux sous plastique ; jus d'orange synthétique; servir uniquement du café américain à des italiens en Italie est une insulte! Pain de mie qui se défait au regard. Alessandra, la colazione è indegna del luogo; devi assolutamente correre ai ripari!

The owner - Alesandra was a fabulous host where absolutely nothing was too much trouble - she went out of her way for her guests. The room was lovely - and there was everything at the Residence that you could possibly need (except a lift)!. There was a lounge area for guests to sit in with an array of magazines and books to browse and even a piano in the corner of the room with music books if you could or wanted to play the instument. The history on the ceiling decoration and the walls was amazing. Palazzo del Duca was in a lovely small winding street with lots going on - close to Piazza Navona - so very central and close to everything.

The breakfast was very basic - but that was ok. There was no lift to take you to the floor where the flat was - in the house on the first floor. On my five day stay at Palazzo Del Duca - on two seperate evenings I was unable to gain access to the front OUTSIDE door of where I was staying - the first night was around midnightish, when a large car was parked up tight to the door and I had to wake the owner up to let me in (which was not good at all) (and of course, understandably, she wasn't too happy about being woken up) and on the second night it happened - an even larger car was parked right tight to the front door but left a slightly (and I mean ever so slightly room) for me to get past the door to open the door myself. People living at this house should put a sign up that says no car parking outside their property - end of!!!

La posizione, la cortesia, il locale ben arredato. Ci sentivamo veramente ospiti del Duca. Con dispiacere ci siamo accomiatati scrivendo sul registro "Hic manebamus optime", ma in previsione di tornarci dovevamo scrivere "manebimus".

Unique and interesting place.

Rome like a Roman!! I loved everything about Palazzo Del Duca. From the moment I arrived and received such a warm welcome from Alessandra, to my first step into the grand Salon, I knew that I could not have chosen a better place to stay in Rome. Although the apartment is in a busy neighborhood, it is quiet and private with the added bonus of being a 5 minute walk to the Piazza Navona. Many great places to eat and it is within easy walking distance to everything. The Salon was a serene haven where you can relax in comfort and contentment. I will definitely return the next time I visit Rome and recommend it to everyone. Thank you, Alessandra for being such a wonderful hostess!!!!!!

Alessandra organised a taxi for me which was really helpful and as the driver had my name on a card, very easy to find. She also gave me a good idea of where to go sight seeing and a map. I had a sense of what it was like to live in rome rather than stay at a hotel. The building is great and very beautiful. I will visit again.

Fantastic location in the old town. The Via del Governo Vecchio is an old narrow street with plenty of buzz. Lots of shops in the immediate neighbourhood as well as great restaurants. Very central so pretty much everything touristy accessible by foot. The B&B was great, the room was very clean, the bed comfortable and breakfast simple but delicious. Alessandra was a very friendly host. We would definitely stay here again. (Tip - Coming from Fiumicino Airport we used the shuttle bus (bus stop 1, and got off at the Vatican stop and it was an easy 15 minute walk and only 6 euro).

Excelent B&B in center of Rome We where here for the 2th time and stayed for 3 nights in the begining of May, the location is perfect for sightseeing in this lovely city, short walking distance to all museums in the central part or the shopping streets. The rooms are done tastefully and the bed was comfortable, we slept so well Thank you for providing us with a clean, historical, friendly time we would definately stay with you again. We will also recomend you to visit Alessandra`s resturant in Trastevere

De ligging is werkelijk prachtig in het centrum. Soepel betreft hulp (aankomst - koffer achter laten - taxi regelen)
