This unique hotel, situated in the historic centre of Ortigia, just a few paces from Piazza Duomo, is a superb starting-point for a walk around the breathtaking island.
The Palazzo Del Sale (Salt Palace) was the residence of a local salt dealer, hence the name.
The high ceilings and stone walls are unique and pleasant. The Palazzo Del Sale surely enjoys an original ambiance.
Palazzo del Sale is close to the Fountain of Aretusa, to the Maniace Castle and all the most important churches of the city. Enjoy a walk along the Lungomare promenade, which circles the whole island.

By Plane:
From Catania Fontanarossa airport (60 km).
Take a bus from the terminal, which stops 5 minutes from the hotel. The bus company Interbus has a regular service from Siracusa to Catania Airport every hour.
