Palazzo Gamba  

Spacious and comfortable for family of four. Apt had two good sized bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms and kitchen area. Very good location steps away from Cathedral. People in reception area were very helpful and nice.

A bit complicated if arriving by car because you cant get all the way to the hotel with the car (although I assume this is probably true for most hotels in Florence). Also, while the location is great (and this is part of why they charge what they do), I wouldnt recommend paying a lot more for it because Florence is so small you can get anywhere walking.

Marco was sensational and was very friendly and answered ALL our questions with a smile on his face! Very clean, beautifull large rooms with VERY tall ceilings and gorgeous frescos on them. And location was excellent. Would definitely stay again!

The apartment was spacious . well furnishid with all the appliances needed in the kitchen The bathrooms are very small but look like they were renovated recently very clean and well supllied

You can not reach the hotel with a car. The hotel staff were very helpful in transfering the luggages.

How can you best describe perfection other than staying at the Palazzo Gamba in Florence, opening your window and seeing the Duomo 50 feet to your left and the Baptistry 50 feet to your right. The rooms were magnificent, as was the location. And the price was incredibly low for the quality and location. Staff was most friendly and we wouldn't change a thing about our stay. Even with the location, noise was just not an issue. And the hotel goes out of its way to provide wonderful little gifts in the bathrooms and in the kitchen.

No negatives whatsoever. Highly recommend.

Location location location

Perfect location with a view of the Duomo from our Balcony.

We really enjoyed our stayed at Palazzo Gamba. The location is excellent. It is right there at the Duomo. Shopping and food are just a step away. We were there on Easter weekend, so we all watched the Easter celebration of pushing the cart in the Duomo right through our windows!! While thousands of people have to stand in the rain for hours even before the event started. Besides excellent location, there is more important thing that Palazzo Gamba offer, which is service. Palazzo Gamba offers a very personal, top of the notch service, especially Marco. Marco is excellent. He is funny, very helpful and very attentive to our needs. We definitely love Palazzo Gamba, we already booked our apartment for our next visit to Florence. I will recommend Palazzo Gamba to anyone that visit Florence.

Location is of course excellent - minutes walk from the glorious sights of Florence. Although the apartment I had did not have the excellent views of those facing the Duomo, it was very roomy, very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen.The turndown/cleaning service was excellent. At 130 euros/night from booking.com it was really good value for money.

This was a magnificent location with all the facilities that were described on their website. The staff were particularly helpful in booking museums and generally helping out on numerous small things No hesitation in recommending the Palazzo Gamba to other visitors to Florence

Gush alert: Palazzo Gamba exceeded every one of my expectations: the owners were super friendly and helpful; the apartment was stunning beyond words, with a view over the Duomo - right in the city centre. It was beautifully furnished, with lovely linen and bath products. Excellent value for money, clean, tasteful and central. I cannot imagine a better place in the price bracket right in the centre of Florence.

Seriously, not one thing can I say in criticism. It was perfect.

The appartments have a perfect location with fantastic views. They are very well equiped and tastefully decorated.

There could have been a wider selection of intrenational tv channels on the cable system for the kids. Our appartment did not have a bath tub.

everything is perfect. Location is perfect, staffs are so friendly, parking is safe. facilities in the room are perfect. rooms are huge. rate is affordable.
