Palazzo Gambuzza "Maison de Charme"  

Palazzo Gambuzo is a lovely place - quiet and grand. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. We would love to come back and spend more time there. It is a good location for visiting the many attractive sites in the area. Highly recommended!

We liked this place a lot. The palazzo itself has a facinating history. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was filling and very tasty every morning. We would definitly stay there again if we come some time.

The building itself is a marvel. The location is perfect for touring the South-East corner of Sicily from Catania to Agrigento. Ispica is itself a real treasure with three fantastic baroque churches. The Baroque towns of Siracusa, Noto, Modica, Scicli and Ragusa are within an easy drive or by public bus. The costal towns of Pozzallo, Pachino and Avola are also easy to get to by care or bus. The countryside in spring, we were there in early June is wonderful. The staff are very very friendly and helpful, not overbearing and the Reception staff (oen 0800 to 1330) speak very good english. Public Transport to surrounding towns is good and the countryside, especiall the Cava di Ispica is amasing.

Nothing worth a mention. I would recommend the hotel without hesitation. Get there before it realises its own potential and the prices rise!

Beautiful furnished suite with a comfortable bed and an outside large terrace where you can sit in the evening. In an historical and interesting building. Great breakfast. The town is very quiet at night but not very exciting. Great base to see the area though.

Veldig spesiell sted, spesiell leilighet også. Beste frokost i hele ferien (da mener jeg beste siciliansk, de som ikke liker high carbo frokost kan bli skuffet:). Mye som minner om butique eller ***** hoteller for ** pris.

Ingen WiFi - er nødt å bruke hovedpalasset (leilighet for 6 pers. ligger separat). Spesielt for reisende i påsketiden - veldig spesiell, men også slitsom opplevelse, skyting / mye lyder hele natta slik at man i praksis er våken og er nødt å gå på byen. Men liker man det - så er det beste tiden og mest spesielle stedet for påskeseremonier i Sicilia

La classe, l'atmosfera, l'accoglienza...la qualità, oltre che la posizione strategica

Très beau palais parfaitement rénové : beaux volumes et hauts plafonds et confort moderne. Très bien situé au centre d'Ispica qui est un bon point de départ pour visiter la Sicile baroque du Sud.

Assolutamente meraviglioso al punto che abbiamo dovuto prolungare ulteriormente la permanenza: accoglienza e gentilezza all'altezza degli entusiastici giudizi già espressi da altri, edificio storico di gran pregio e, da architetto, posso aggiungere assai ben restaurato. Ottimo per fughe romantiche ma anche per famiglie e/o lunghe permanenze considerata la possibilità dell'uso della cucina in ogni suite. E poi Ispica è molto carina e soprattutto baricentrica rispetto allo splendido territorio circostante (mare, Modica, Ragusa, Donnafugata, Scicli, Pachino, Noto, Siracusa, Cava d'Ispica). Non indugiate, venite a Palazzo Gambuzza!!!
