The staff were excellent, friendly, courteous, helpful nothing too much trouble.the room we stayed in was superb - huge! Great value for money. The location of the hotel was ideal, easy walking distance to all the tourist sites while also being in a quieter part of Florence.
Super helpful and nice staff. The room was big and very clean.
Internet connection was weak. Small lift.
Everything about this hotel, great part of town, great staff and amazing room!
Elegant and true as photos here. The service was excellent and the grandness of the room rivals icon hotels like the Waldorf , the Cavalleri etc. It was better than expected and a hidden surprise. I would go back to Florence again ( for the nth time) and ALWAYS stay at this hotel
Fold out bed is as expected, uncomfortable but the other amenities made up for it. Best for a couple and not a group.
Fantastic room we had booked the Junior Suite It was well worth the money Staff were very friendly
No wine or gin in the mini bar we did ask about the gin at reception ( they had sold out )Then we spotted a bar in the hotel when we went for breakfast which nobody had bothered to mention! Strange since we had asked the night before about a roof top bar !!!
Francesca was wonderful! Most helpful and pleasant. The location is perfect. Breakfast was enjoyable and the barista made us a special cappuccino for our anniversary!
This is truly a breathtaking hotel with beautiful frescoes. Great location close to Ponte Vecchio and other attractions, restaurants, Gelato places. Very large room with modern amenities. Good breakfast served in another lovely room. Staff spoke to us in French which was great.
Wi Fi did not work well. Plumbing worked fine but was noisy.
My wife and I stayed for 4 nights at the Palazzo Guicciardini after initialling booking only two nights. We arrived in Florence by fast train from Rome and the hotel was a short drive (9 euro's) from the station. The welcoming staff and spacious rooms immediately impress. The breakfast was great and the restaurant hostess was fantastic not only providing great coffee but helpful information.
The street below can be noisy at nights so make sure the windows are closed. The wi fi connection is unreliable and the plumbing was a little noisy and slightly smelly at times in our bathroom.
Female staffs were so friendly.
Location and bedroom size. Helpful staff.
Location, staff, room decor
Wifi only worked in one area outside of room,
The location, the friendly staff, the room, the breakfast n impeccable service!
There was nothing I didn't like!
location huge rooms staff
Wi Fi room's location (facing the front desk of the dining room) A/C location problematic
The location of this palazzo is very central yet quiet being across the river Arno from the historic part of town but only less than 5 minutes walk away. The rooms (I can speak about 2 since my family were with us) were definitely "wow" - very beautiful, stucco ceilings, silk damask curtains, huge beds; in short, everything was of the highest standard not to mention the size - very, very spacious. I doubt if you've ever seen such rooms if you've not paid at least triple this price. Staff were so pleasant and helpful.
Beautiful exceptional rooms which used to be part of the original Palazzo, intimate place, very friendly and helpful stuff and nice cakes! We felt like we stayed in noble friends place
The only tiny downside is that all the rooms are either of the reception area or the bar.
Great staff - very helpful Room size and bathroom was good. Great location for the centre of Firenze and good local restaurants
Palazzo Guicciardini is really a glorified B&B. 15Th Century frescos, really????? Breakfast was underwhelming... Location of room 8 (junior suite and supposedly the best room in the house...???) was directly onto the reception and noisy but then all the rooms seem to have a issue with their location. Not good value for money in my mind @ 200+ Euros per night
This hotel was an awesome fine, located in the center of Florence, and an old palace that has been tastefully renovated into a hotel without losing any of it charm. The staff could not be more helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It really is a stunning hotel, and a definite recommendation if you are staying in Florence. We were just sad we were only there for one night. If it wasn't at the end of our trip, I would have changed our plans to stay a couple more nights.
The rooms are amazing, more like a stately home than a hotel room, century old frescoes and 7m ceilings. Front desk staff exceptionally helpful. Fantastic location.
Palazzo Guicciardini is absolutely gorgeous. The guest room is fabulously decorated, the stucco paintings on the wall and ceiling are so beautiful, well fit to the Florence Renaissance setting. It is across river from Uffiz in a nice residential area, off the busy tourist zone but walking distance to everything. The staff work there are very friendly and helpful, helped us with restaurant reservation and other info. The lady works in breakfast room is so nice and brought me cappuccino every morning. We stayed there for 3 nights and are very pleased. I will definitely stay here if we visit Florence again.
We are used to for much more for this money, but it is Italy... Very poor breakfast!
Very helpful front desk staff. Helped us find our way around town and with reservations. Breakfast was nice. Room was great...beautiful. Location was great. Close to activity but a little away from the hustle and bustle.
Would have appreciated wash cloths and fresh towels. Towels were not replaced. Wi-fi was a little tricky. Overall very pleased. These are not complaints...just suggestions/observations.
My daughter and I stayed here for one night while traveling through Europe in August. We wanted to stay more but it was booked solid. We loved every minute of our stay. The staff were very attentive and looked after all our needs. Francesca was wonderful. She graciously welcomed us even though we arrived early. She booked reservations at a local restaurant and personally provided us with a gluten-free breakfast. We will definitely return and will recommend this hotel to all our friends.
The internet signal was weak but what can you expect through 15 century walls. Who needs internet when you are staying in a Palazzo with original frescos on the walls and ceilings?
very large room, paints on the ceiling and walls original for centuries as being told at the same time the rooms are renovated to today's technology;LCD, Lighting, A/C etc..
Narrow street, could not park my car just to offload.Poor entrance; Hotel at the second floor of an ancient building although there is an elevator you still have 5 stair steps to go up which is difficult if carrying luggage
Atmosfera,linistea,curatenia si personalul foarte serviabil!
Greu de gasit locatia,se afla la etajul I al unui vechi palat si nu sunt indicatoare
I cannot thank enough everybody working at that beautiful palazzo and especially the lovely young lady at the front desk. Her professionalism and kindness are beyond description. She helped us in every possible way, always with a smile and a friendly attitude. Each and every one made us feel like having holidays in a friend’s house. The hotel itself gives you that feeling due to its size and arrangement of the rooms. Breakfast was good and the cappuccino was a piece of art! (Literally, every time it was served with beautiful small designs on its cream). The palazzo is new with big rooms and modern bathrooms. Another plus is its proximity to all the major attractions.
It gets a bit complicated to find your way if you are driving a car, but this is a problem one has to face in almost every part of the historic center of Florence.
