Pigeons tapping on roof windows, noisy extractor fan rumbling away in the wall next to room, gigantic cappuccinos, ice-cold a/c, dark rooms, layers of dust/grime in certain areas. It was a wear your slippers kind of floor in bedroom. Tiny view through tiny window. Road noise when sitting on terrace. Pool/spa facilities unwelcoming. Hotel not always crystal clear with info - i.e. parking was just public parking that anyone can use and not a lot belonging to the hotel as I had been led to believe. One one lady making coffees/clearing tables at breakfast. Too much work for her to do alone.
Female desk staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice, once ensconced in the hotel, to be near shops/restaurants in town, but a bit of a trek from the parking.
