The apartment is clean and nicely renovated, although very sparsely furnished.
The unit we stayed in (one bedroom apartment with separate dining room) faces the street and it was very noisy as there's a bar right across the room and the windows are not insulated. You can hear cars and every word that is spoken on the street. I wasn't informed that I had to pay CASH at the end of my stay. The owner recommended a restaurant and promised to make a reservation for us, but the restaurant was closed when we got there and the owner never told us. She several times changed her story about the reservation!!! The breakfast is just a very typical Italian bread and no hot meals. Although we got fresh towels for our second day, the toilet and the shower were not cleaned at all! For the price we paid for Salerno's B&B,I would say the place is overly priced.
not anything to grouse about
The apartment is lovely, beautifully decorated and it is in central location, close to everything.
The sofa bed is not as comfortable as the other bed. Breakfast is very basic. I would however stay there again.
We were made to feel very welcome by the owner Monica who made our stay very enjoyable. She gave us all the information regarding restaurants and maps to get around town. The B & B was extremely comfortable and in an excellent location. Highly recommend.
Beautiful apartment. Bathroom to die for! Great breakfast.
A little difficult to find. Also confusing as to which door and bell corresponded to location
A quiet central position for visiting to historical centre of Salerno. Monica is a very welcoming, caring and helpful host. We felt very at home in her B&B. Thank you Monica.
Excellent location, clean, stylish decoration, comfortable with absolutely delicious breakfast of fresh pastries and the best-tasting oranges and lemons you will ever eat. Room comes with refrigerator and a small range and sink. The beds were the most comfortable ones we slept on in Italy. Monica is an incredibly warm, hospitable charming and well-educated person - she was an a delight to deal with and is very accommodating. Palazzo Morese is quite possibly the best option for foreign travelers looking to stay in Salerno.
The key to get into the flat itself was a bit difficult to use, but then again the door is old.
the owner went out of her way to help you. She helped with travels in area. The room was clean and modern.
The location was difficult if you did not know where you were going.
The staff (Monica) was nice and helpful.
As there was nobody permanently on site, we had to inform in advance what time we wanted to check in/out. This was a bit inconvinient. We found the apartment difficult to find. We called Monica, who came to our car and assisted us to the flat. We had expected considerably more for the price (102 euro). The apartment was rather simple and the breakfast was substandard. Parking overnight in the nearby garage cost 20 euros. No other parking was available.
Monica is a warm and welcoming lady -- she has designed elegant and very comfortable apartments, and she meets every need of the visitor. The linens are superb; the food is healthful, delicious, and plentiful. She provided all the information we needed efficiently, for a perfect stay. The location is excellent.
Just great! Everything was just the best!
We had such a pleasant stay. Staff was very informative and hospitable and made us feel at home. Fresh pastries were delivered in the morning. B&B is located near restaurants, shopping and museums.
We did not find anything negative about our stay.
