This is an elegant and charming gem right next to Piazza al Duomo. The staff couldn't be more professional and helpful. Lovely breakfast buffet. Our room was upgraded to a deluxe. Would definitely return.

Lobby on second floor
Location was fantastic. The ambience was wonderful. Full of atmosphere. Kind & friendly staff, so helpful. Was like staying with friends. We'll definitely be back and will not hesitate to recommend to our friends.
Small initimate hotel, lovely individual rooms in a old "Plazzo" home, very convenient - just minute from the Duomo, lots of restaurants nearby, good service from all the staff, good sized bathroom with a bath not just a shower, lovely breakfast room
Room was medium size although not small, it is quite hard to find first time, no tea/coffee facilities in rooms or at night - although this is Italy so go across the road for un cafe.
Located a few yards next to the duomo, this luxury hotel of ten rooms has a long aristocrat history, and has successfully re-created that ambience for the lucky few travelers to enjoy.
Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room. Wonderful location. Step outside and you are right at the Duomo, restaurants and shops.
Room was small but adequate. Bathroom was also small. Not enough electrical outlets to charge phones, but we made do.
Close proximity to all things Helpful friendly staff and owners Lovingly cared
The service and convenience was excellent, could not have had a better location.
Our room was rather small but having said that, it was comfortable. A little more space for two people would have been nice.
The location is superb and very close to the Duomo... literally steps! Lovely breakfast. Very comfortable bed and spacious room/bathroom.
There was some building work going on at a building opposite our room which started 7am in the morning.
You can't do any better than this hotel for location, accessibility, friendliness, spaciousness or cleanliness. The hotel also has a restaurant that offers some of the best pizza and Parmesan we had during our 2 week trip through Italy. Staff at the restaurant was also very accommodating. Overall, proprietors in Florence were the quickest to speak English in an effort to help compared to anywhere else we visited. Give this hotel a try. You won't be disappointed.
The beds were a little bit hard but still more comfortable than those in other hotels.
WOW. The place looks amazing, in a prime location, we have been upgraded to an apartment which includes 1 bedroom and 1 living room + hall. The atmosphere is both romantic and luxury. You can definitely feel like a duke or something similar when staying in the hotel in general and in the apartment in particular. The service was perfect, the staff keep your privacy on one hand but always nearby if you need anything. The only suggestion I can give the manager of the hotel is to provide a crown while check-in :) It should fit perfectly to the look and feel.
Upgraded to best room ever (#9) Huge, beautiful and clean Great spot to tour town from Service was excellent
1st time you walk in there it is a bit disorientating, make sure you alert reception if gonna be late check-in
Location right at the heart of the city Top notch service Very clean Great bed Very friendly and professional staff
Great building next to the cathedral, stylish rooms, wonderful breakfast, late check-out.
The staff were very helpful and our room was beautiful. Staying at the Palazzo Niccolini Al Duomo was one of the highlights of our time in Firenze.
Lovely property only about a block from the Duomo yet on a quiet street in a quiet courtyard. Very helpful with dinner reservations, etc. Elegant breakfast room with great breakfast. Very comfortable rooms. Very understanding of late arrival due to late plane.
Beautiful building and courtyard, rooms were kept to an immaculate standard. Maid service second to none. Breakfast was a joy - both in the availability and quality and the ambience of the surroundings. Staff helpful and professional. Very close, within minutes, of all the top attractions.
Overall the experience was near perfect but the one problem for us was that it was all a little bit 'big brother'. Security cameras made us feel uncomfortable. There's one in the courtyard facing you if you're having a sit in the sun, and there's one in the breakfast room too -having a cctv camera poining at you when you're eating breakfast is disconcerting. Made us a bit parnoid that we were being watched all the time. The reception desk looks like police headquarters with its cctv monitors. They are very up front about them though and there are notices on the walls advising of their presence.
The Staff were outstanding in assistance and providing information for travel. The location is great. The amenities were very nice and the lounge area was greatly appreciated for relaxing in a beautiful historic room to have breakfast, tea in the evening, and utilize WiFi. Great Service by all of the staff. Historical building.
The drapes in our room were very dusty. The hotel was very small, as the photos made the hotel appear rather grand. Price was near or above average in cost.
Gorgeous location, wonderful host, sensational dinner, beautifully renovated.
The situation was great, the welcome was genuine, and the staff most helpful. We were given an upgrade to the vast room shown in the picture, though we were paying just over 300 euros a night, the breakfast was excellent and the tea hot ! The "associated" restaurant downstairs was buzzy and busy and the food and value splendid.
The hotel arranged a car (in fact a taxi)from the airport, cost 56 euros, the going rate for a perfectly adequate taxi, as we discovered on departure was 22 euros.
The fact that the palazzo is like staying in a grand hotel but, as there are only 10 rooms, it has the intimacy of someone's home.
Location is excellent, decor and most facilities are quite good and the staff very helpful. A privilege to stay in an historic Italian palace (Palazzo).
The biggest let down when paying such a high rate per night is the complete absence of effective air conditioning. Very disappointing in that regard and the room was too warm and stuffy at night to allow comfortable sleeping. Asked for assistance with the air con but the issue was not resolved.
Brilliant location. Very helpful service. Quite charming and unusual
Hard to find at first. The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a courtyard building. Room was quite small.
Fabulous location, we were given an upgrade to our room which was lovely. Beautiful rooms and good breakfast. A brilliant place to stay.
We would have liked tea making facilities in our room.
