Great location and very classy place. Top notch furnishings, salon-breakfast area was superb. Room of very high quality. Very clean bath with great tub. Entire place was spotless. Nice entrance off street. a catch 22..... would be perfect in summer when air conditioning could run... in October, great weather but still a little warm, so room is stuffy with no air... great to open windows and get cool night air... but two problems... one, being so close to the Duomo, there is lots of street activity and the noise resonates up the narrow streets and is loud.. secondly, cannot open windows for mosquitos coming in an buzzing you during sleep! Would be nice if small fans were provided for air circuation. Desk person was friendly upon arrivial, but afterwards very curt and basically ignored us... never asked if we needed anything. Most friendly person there was breakfast lady who was sweet and attentive.

The former palace was expertly run including a desk staff who advised us for the visit to Florence. The rooms make you feel you are living in an Italian palace from a past time, but elegant. The buffet breakfast had a good variety to start your day of touring. The location could not be better, 1/2 block from the Duomo and walkable to the important sites.

This is one of the loveliest European city hotels I've ever stayed in. The location is incredible, the staff is top notch and remarkably helpful (when the receptionist discovered I was gluten sensitive, she referred us to a GF-restaurant nearby and saw that there were gluten-free items available for me at breakfast!), and it is really beautiful. So glad I discovered it on the internet! I didn't like that we had to leave!

Il palazzo e' veramente notevole, anche se magari dall'esterno non sembra. La proprietaria e l'accoglienza ottima. E la posizione fantastica!

Splendida atmosfera e struttura estremamente ben curata. Staff molto professionale e gentile. Tutto splendido Probabilmente era dovuto ad un contingente problema dei servizi igienici e della rete fognaria ma si avvertiva un odore non gradevola in prossimità della stanza. Ma sicuramente sarà stato un problema passeggero

オーナーも同じ建物の中にお住まいとのことで邸宅の一部をホテルとして利用しているのだと思いますが、十分- なスペースとクラシカルで趣味の良い家具がありリラックスして過ごせる良い空間です。

Great location, nice breakfast, very helpful English speaking receptionists. The only problem for older travelers is that the staff only works from 8am to 8pm. I did not find any emergency numberrs to call in the room should you need help in the night. Also, they neglected to tell us that we needed our key to get in after dinner. It was only by accident that I asked them how late they would be at the desk and learned all of the above. This was just prior to our going out to dinner.
