Palazzo Paruta3824 Campo Sant'Angelo, San Marco, 30124 Venice (Show map)
Excellent,
Score from 296 reviews
“ I loved our room!! I can't remember what room number we had, but it was the room with the blue bed canope and the wood floors that you see in the pictures featured on the website. It is next to the breakfast room on the first floor, and sleeps four. This room is amazing, with a canal view and the feel of an old palace. ”

The antique design of all the rooms and the lovely old-world furniture really spiced up the place. I felt as if I were living in a palace -- like the rooms we usually saw on museum tours. The sitting room was nice and the breakfast was lovely. Particularly liked the sauteed aubergines and zucchinis. Wifi was unreliable at best. Had to go to the tea room to get a better signal, and even then it sometimes disappeared. Other than that, nothing.

The decor and the history of the building is amazing. Situated close to the major destinations, transport, cafes, restaurants and . Seeing the same staff rostered on most days was great as developed a relationship with the staff. Breakfast was awesome. The room smelt a bit, but I can get over that. Venice is built on damp!

The personal at the reception was very kind. This hotel was a complete disillusion for me. The price is too high for what you get. The breakfasts are terrible! When I arrived to my room there was a towel in the window that somebody left and no one put it away. I found in the floor of the shower hair of the guests who stay before in the room. So I could see that they do not clean the rooms very well. If you pay 400 Euros by night you expect at least a clean room. I was staying in a room next to the place they keep all the things for breakfast, so at 6:00 am I started to hear noises. I would not recommend this hotel. The relation quality and price does not correspond at all.

Rooms were beautifully decorated in the Venetian style. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Located in easy walking distance to all main features. Excellent breakfast with wide range. We should have booked a longer stay.

We stayed one night at the Palazzo Peruta in April. The staff were extremely gracious in honouring a booking that I had made for the Junior Suite, despite me making an error in the booking for the wrong date, they managed to be able to give us the room that we wanted. The staff were extremely polite and helpful with instructions on how to get around the city, and looked after our baggage when we went for a walk about the city after we had checked out. The room was simply gorgeous - exquisitely designed in sumptuous fabrics, we felt in the lap of luxury. The dining room is also beautifully decorated, and the service for breakfast was impeccable. there was a huge spread of breakfast items, but probably best of all were the crepes that were made to order The only minor point was that the TV in our room didn't have signal, but I would venture to say that if you are in Venice then you shouldn't really be watching TV anyway...

We had a standard double. The room was decorated beautifully and bigger than expected. Convenient location and delicious breakfast. The staff were very kind, even bringing up wine glasses and bottle opener for us. Could smell breakfast being made, but otherwise no real complaints. We had a rainy weekend and the hotel was a warm and welcome respite from the rain.

It is next to the breakfast room on the first floor, and sleeps four. This room is amazing, with a canal view and the feel of an old palace. Lots of Murano glass in the lighting and bathroom mirror. The sitting room, lobby and breakfast room were absolutely gorgeous! Breakfast was nice and the location was great. I would absolutely stay here again! The shower/tub had a slight learning curve to it, but once I figured it out, I was fine.

The ambiance, the afternoon comlpimentary tea The rooms are extremely small and not adequate for a 4 star hotel. No view, terrace or balcony, no bathrobe or slippers. Not near enough to a boat stop so one has to carry the luggage, no help from the hotel in this respect. Slow in the breakfast service

Just returned from a few days in Venice. Could not fault one thing about the Palazzo Paruta. The breakfast was the best I have had so far in Italy, lots of variety and good quality food. The afternoon tea was a welcoming touch after long walks around the sites of venice. The staff were very accomodating and gave sound advice re directions and queried activities. The highlight of teh wek was the La traviatta opera, no to be missed!!!You can book through the hotel at 60 euro pp.I Will definetely return to the Palazzo and recomend it for young couples/families alike.

Friendly service, stylish, period rooms eg bedrooms, sitting room and dining room. Excellent breakfast (great variety), generous afternoon tea. Free Wi-Fi. Good room and concert booking services. Venice is very confusing at first and finding the hotel is not easy; perhaps slightly more detailed instructions would be helpful in a city where there are no cars, taxis or buses. Absence of ordinary shops (not the hotel's fault). The one nearish supermarket is very difficult to find. Food or electrical shops almost non-existant.

Breakfast was amazing - lots of variety. The blue junior suite we had was beautiful and kept very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good as just outside San Marco so prices at shops were slightly less. Would definately recommend to anybody considering Venice. Unpleasant smell in the courtyard. Noises of washing machine and dishwasher could be heard from our room and also the man snoring next door!

I wasn't feeling well the morning we arrived and the lady at the front desk invited us to wait in the lounge area and had our room prepared early. They were always very helpful with directions. They also had a porter for our luggage. Amazing breakfast buffet as well.
