They have good location, nice and clean rooms and everything. And I would like to give a special prise for helpfulness of their staff. I have destroyed side mirror of my car when parking (100% my fault) and they did everything to solve my problem. My special gratitude to Mr. Jude.

More modest than we had anticipated: small, dark, and somewhat shabby room reminiscent of my travels in Italy decades back.

Poor breakfast (uht milk is unacceptable in a country with Italy's food culture - buy Latte Fresco!!). Rather small rooms (this may be a constraint of the historical premise).

Very nice hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel. Good staffs, near to good restaurant, easy to find the hotel, good room and good breakfast.

This is not an issue, but if we can watch some English news on TV, it would be better.

Would be good to have free wi fi accessible thru all the rooms an not just in lobby. Should include English language news channels- ie BBC or CNN.

Lovely old style stone building but with modern style and feeling, based in lovely historic surroundings

Nice rooms, clean, comfortable bed, and the windows could be closed to keep out light and noise for great sleeping. The breakfast room was very nice and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was served until 10:30 so we didn't have to be rushed and could sleep in. The breakfast was good but not extensive. Orvieto is a wonderful little town with great restaurants, good shopping and excellent wine!

No access to English speaking CNN but then again that was probably good because we were on vacation :-) We wold have loved to have a bigger window but we were on the 3rd floor. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the view.

The room was spacious. The staff spoke English. Valet parking. Location interiors were very calming and well done. No noise in the room

Small shower

Palazzo Piccolomini is a beautiful hotel with a warm and welcoming staff. My sister and I stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. My suitcase did not arrive with our flight to Rome from San Francisco, so I had to go to Orvieto without my luggage. Jude was very helpful with this problem. He immediately took up the cause- calling the airport in Rome to try to get answers and locate the suitcase. Jude, as well as everyone else at the hotel, could not have been more friendly or accomidating. Our room was lovely and had a fantastic outlook over rooftops and the street. We found the restaurants in Orvieto to be some of the best on our trip. I highly recommend Palazzo Piccolomini and Orvieto!

This hotel is perfectly situated for anyone arriving by car from Rome. One parks in the underground car park at Piazza Campo della Fiera and then by a series of steps and escalators it is easy to take the luggage up to the town. The escalators end in the square where the hotel is situated, it couldn't be better. The reception staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming and also spoke excellent english.

O único ponto a melhorar seria a colocação de uma porta no box do banheiro, pois no quarto que fiquei não tinha. No quarto ocupado por meus sogros possuía porta no box.

Завтрак настолько скудный, что можно считать, что его совсем нет. Слышимость в отеле мешает отдохнуть.
