Hotel with a lot of charm Fantastic cuisine Great service Brilliant value
My wife and I spent three amazing nights at the Palazzo Righini last week and were extremely pleased with all elements of our stay. The level of service we received from the friendly staff (particularly Flavio ) was exceptional and we felt genuinely so welcomed and cared for by everyone we met at the hotel. I stayed in many luxury hotels around the world mostly in Dubai but I can tell you the experience you get here is different from what you will ever think of!! It is stunning!! The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-appointed and we had great nights of sleep in between our days of exploring the surrounding wine region. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax while enjoying the sights of Piedmont, you won't regret a decision to stay at the Palazzo.
The rooms are not very soundproof but location is definitely quite.
Beautiful stylish rooms, a place full of history tastefully restored, big choice of breakfast, personalized and friendly Service, helpful staff. Nice bar.
Would be nice to have a fitness/ gym in the hotel.
Staff were very polite smiling and great service. Lovely hotel architecture located in a beautiful historical town on Fossano! Very comfortable and love the bespoke side if the hotel! Lovely inside garden terrace too.
Tastefully decorated and professionally renovated building. The staff were very kind and helpful. We had nice dinner in the restaurant. This was my second visit in Fossano, the first hotel where I stayed was very poor, but Palazzo Righini completely changed my opinion about the city and I enjoyed my stay.
town of Fossano is modest without many attractions
the food in fine dining and café/bar was excellent - great wines at good value; room was very pleasant, very helpful staff, quiet location
The thermostats are set so that you can only adjust the temperature up or down two degrees. It was hot in the room, so the only solution was to sleep with a window open all night.
Very helpful staff, comfortable room and pleasant location. Good breakfasts, too.
Parking is a bit difficult, massage therapist at the spa was not very good.
Staff is wonderfully attentive, restaurants were excellent, room is comfortable with great bathroom, location is perfect for exploring, nice that there's a train station within walking distance of the hotel.
nothing...if you put this hotel in an other place, it will get 6 stars...with a swimming pool
they have an excellent restaurant withnexcellent wine list...michelin mist some on the road... service and quality of the hotel is impeccable, its not to far from the wine country...more then worth staying for some days..
- All three of us had massages and not satisfied. Masseuse did not seemed trained in massage. - Relaxation room was nice, but jacuzzi was too cold to sit in for very long. Can't do Sauna or Steam Room due to Asthma - Function at hotel one evening limited our access to the resaturants and patio.
- Staff was very professional and friendly - Room was more than adequate and very clean - Two onsite restaurants with very good food and reasonably priced. - Really nice patio - Great breakfast included - Price was very reasonable - Location was great, right off the main street wtih good shopping
This is an mazing find in Fossano. Beautiful interiors, lovely comfortable high spec. rooms, but most of all superb, friendly unbelievable staff. They go out of their way and some. incredible. We love the food- even canapés served with drinks are immensely brilliant. The restaurant is wonderfully atmospheric and the food is simply delicious. It is worth travelling for just for the dining room experience, with the nicest waiter ever. Loved it!!
Amazing staff who cannot do enough for you. The restaurant is stunningly good, great food. I would travel to dine here. Delightful reception and attentive, personal lovely restaurant staff. It was simply the best food and by far the best value on our tour around Piedmonte and upto Lake Orta. Even pre dinner drinks arrive with a stunning wonderful selection of delicious nibbles. When our car was broken into, the owner unbelievably generously lent us his car to travel around in and had ours repaired. Where else would that happen! This is simply a gem of a hotel; beautiful in decor and staffed by beautifully minded people.
Breakfast Spa Room Location Dinner
I loved the interior decor of the room, the restaurant and the central location.
Charming decor, very helpful staff
Everything, the friendliness of the staff, the restaurant which serves excellent food and the tasteful decoration everywhere in the hotel
Great hotel, very helpful staff and excellent food. Customer service excells. It's a true oasis. Highly recommended.
This was by far the best hotel we have stayed in. Impeccable customer service, beautiful hotel - lovingly and amazingly restored - great amenities and food. Also great launching point to other towns in the region. We will definitely return - hopefully soon.
Walls were pretty thin so we could hear the people beside us talking into the night..
Palazzo Righini was located in the beautiful old town of Fossano; the architecture of the hotel itself was extremely unique, given that it was previously a monastery. Do not miss out on a wonderful meal at its restaurant, Antiche Volte, housed in the basement with the feel of a cellar/vault. The hotel is also located within driving distance to many wineries in the region.
The hotel is in a small street in the old city and is somewhat difficult to find.
A remarkable hotel and terrific value for the price. The attached restaurant was worth the trip half way across Italy. The chef deserves at least one Michelin star.
city itself is cosy but quite small and hard to spent there few days
very helpful and professional stuff, good value money for extremely high standard, excellent restaurant as well lounge bar
Having to leave the place:-) We were only there for one night.
The staff was very nice, very professional. Everyone is young and there is a great spirit. The restaurant as well was a wonderful experience. We had the spa reserved in advance for ourselves and that too was quite nice. We will certaintly recommend this place to our friends and are planing to go back.
We would not go back to the restaurant - expensive and not to our expectation. Staff was efficient and attentive - no complaints.
Hotel had all the amenities...room very nice.
WiFi signal in room was weak to non-existant on latest iProducts.
Absolutely breathtaking restoration of a historical property. Tasteful decor installed with seldom seen craftsmanship. Everything else fully up to par.
This is a sophisticated and professional hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were kind, helpful and a really nice group of people. We liked the decor the food and the artistic touches. A little paradise for those living a hectic life and wanting to relax and enjoy all this region has to offer.
