Fantastic,great place to stay,very central.Not far from the railway station.

Location is literally in the center of the city The owner, Roberto, is extremely friendly and helpful

We had a great time! Staff was wonderfully! Breakfast was delicious in our room! And Roberto nice and great help!

The rooms were exceptional for the price! Beautifully furnished and very large. The bath was large, modern and well equipped. Staff was very helpful.

It was quite noisy as it fronted on Piazza S. Michele, a very busy plaza. At night cafés were loud and in the morning the street sweepers were out.

Great location, lovely accommodation very traditional with excellant facilities and high standards. Staff very helpull and host Roberto went out of his way to ensure guests are welcomed and experience local hospitality.

Nothing. A suggestion - it would be helpull to receive directions to accommodation for travelling on foot or by bus.

It was a perfect stay and we will come back whenever we will visit Lucca again. The Palazzo is located in the center of the old town. Everything is in reach within minutes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place feels like a luxury bed and breakfast with view guests only. If you want something unique that does not feel like a hotel, then this is the right place.

There was nothing to not like

Paula, Roberto and The Breakfast Lady, along with the breakfast. Along with the location, beautiful interior, A/C and general atmosphere.

Not having a curtain around the tub for taking showers. I know that's the way it's supposed to work, I just hate getting the floor wet!

The service and ambience were out of this world seldom do you have a chance to stay anywhere as beautiful in such a lovely Town as Lucca

My huband found the access a bit tricky at first but we mastered it.

breakfast in room- no terrace as advertised parking and feeding the meter electricity went off- no one at front desk (most of the time)

As soon as we rang the enty buzzer on the main Plazza we were made to feel completely at home and at easy by Roberto and his kind staff, after a torturouse journey there, exhausted and deshevelled, the rooftop terrace was unbelievably well apointed with absolutly everything you'd ever require... Superfast wifi, dishwasher, oven, full size fridge freezer!! And the most amazing selection of teabags to suite any taste and 2 very very comfortable beds with plenty of extra bedding. There were no silly ornaments, clutter or pointless bits of furniture to bulk out the rooms that you so often find in such places thus it was very child friendly. The view over the roof tops (almost 360*) was to die for and even although it was overlooking the main square (its actually on the main square) it was amazingly quiet. The roof terrace was very spaciouse with loungers, table with 4 chairs, nice lighting (bright or romantic) and some pot plants. The quality of the fixtures and fitting was exquisite (no I'm not an estate agent...) and the attention to detail was excellent, this is the ideal place for a business meeting, a weeks holiday or a city break, the entire building is breathtaking and has been lovingly restored and looked after, the suites which we were shown round are also extremely spaciouse and luxuriouse. There was never the fear that you have with young kids that if something gets broken your going to be robbed dry at check out, Roberto was so laid back and charming it was a pleasere to have stayed there. We would deffinatley recommend this accomodation to anyone visiting Lucca, and even althougt it is slightly more expensive than others around you will never ever get the view you can get from the Palazzo Rocchi Terrace. For romantics this is a must !! P.S top resteraunt tip Gli Orti di Via Elisa (via Elisa, 17) so child friendly, food was amazing, good veriety, staff excellent, people in scruffs, people in suits - all enjoying the food (no posh snobbery here).

The weather could have been better - but hey, you cant win them all!!

Just the most fabulous apartments, overlooking the main Piazza in Lucca, directly opposite San Michele in Foro.. Roberto the owner was there to greet us and in fact we had been emailing each other since making booking, lovely man... rooms are divine, we had a standard double which was perfect for our one night stop. breakfast served in room by lovely lady who gave us a guided tour of all the other apartments.. some of which are truly spectacular... we will be coming back to Palazzo Rocchi.. we loved it.. highly recommended

Truely relaxing and stylish accommodation.

Fascinating place, very friendly and charming host, the athmosphere of the apartment overlooking the main square was magnifiscent.

Beautifully restored palazzo with incredible frescoes, decorated ceilings, period furnishings as well as modern facilities in the bathroom. Generous and incredibly tasty breakfasts served by friendly, helpful staff. Friendly and helpful owner/manager who went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Proximity to shops, restaurants and sites in Lucca.

The lack of furnishings in an otherwise very comfortable bedroom. Only one chair and very small coffee table.

We liked everything, its a gorgeous plac ein a stunning city. Roberto is very helpful,all the staff were and it is all so beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable.

Wonderfully different hotel. Main lounge was very beautiful. Staff was friendly and accomodated an early check in. Parking was near by, which made arrival earlier. Directly across from Piazza Michele and many restaurants within walking distance.

Spacious apartment for up to six people directly at piazza San Michele - wonderful. Very nice service, too.
