One can hardly imagine better place - located just in the middle of old part of Milan, so all the attractions are just 2-5 minutes away, the historic building offers a fantastically desgined rooms combining modernistic furniture with 'organic' and minimalistic elements of room design. adding a small but extremely welcoming and nice hotel team, so friendly and warm-hosting that you feel as you just arrived to stay at your best friends' place, you can easily conclude this place to be probably the best place to stay in Milan.

the only (minor) thing one can ever regret - is an absense of hotel's own terrace (which is quite expectable for a such a narrow street), so you can't sit to sip some coffee while having a cigarette outside. Still it's quite compensated with ability to do the same in front of the hotel's door - chating with very warm and friendly hosts.

The staff were very welcoming and professional. Beds were comfortable and room well appointed.

I received a warm welcome by the lady staff (I forgot to ask her name) upon arrival, who serve me with a welcome drink which makes me feel like visiting my friend's place. She also patiently showed me some attractive spots around and introduced a very very nice restaurant for me to dine, and offered to book the restaurant for me. I have to say the room is super-clean and tidy. The design is great and stylish and romantic for young couples. The arrangement inside the room is great and lovely, I especially like those armchairs inside the room. No view from the small windows and no sunlight at all (I was staying in Room 7), but that's fine for me as I didn't expect that in a stylish boutique hotel like this.

The rooms could be too dark for family, but nice for couple or solo travellers. The room was too warm for me and woke me up at the middle of the night. I dislike the fact that I cannot turn on the air-conditioner by the button inside my room (a fake button indeed). After some struggle I still did not call the front dest reception for help as I worry that somebody needs to come up to my room to fix the problem (as I was travelling alone by myself) at the middle of the night. Not until the next day I was told that the air-conditioning is centrally controlled and I can just make a simple call to the front dest and ask them to turn it on remotely. I was surprised. It is not the first time I travelled to Europe but it is the first time that I encounter such problem. I will recommend the hotel staff to inform the clients about this upon their arrival to the hotel, to save them from struggles. Also for the night I stay in the hotel I persistently hear noises from people talking on the phone in the corridor / lift area until midnight (I don't think it is the hotel that is to be blamed) and also some noises from the stylish cage-like lift of the hotel. This reflects that the noise isolation might not be adequate, especially for those easily awake person, but should be fine for people who is not too sensitive. I left my own adaptor in the last hotel I stayed in Florence. There is no adaptor to borrow from the frontdesk and it is really miserable for me to have my phone running out of battery.

Two start quality at Five star price. Room was large (we paid extra), but dark. No mirror in the bedroom, dark in bathroom. Windows didn't keep out street noise. We go to Europe at least once per year, and this was very much a disappointment. Furnishings silly and pretentious-a bathtub in the bedroom-really?

The shower was in the bedroom instead of the bathroom and you couldn't turn it on without getting cold water on you before it warmed up! Not a major - but my only negative about this place, oh and it was a pretty dark in the room, but I think that is the vibe they are going for!

The location is very central and very easy to get around with the Duomo, museums and shopping all within walking distance. Nice funky rooms and the size is pretty good. Free wi-fi was very good. The staff were helpful. We a family of four were very happy with our stay at Palazzo Segreti.

A new "design hotel" with very modern design features. Excellent staff and in a very good location...about 7-8 mintes walk to the Duomo and a few minutes by cab ( or 10 minute walk) to Cadorma station where the Malpensa Express leaves. The hotel is very quiet and has a simple but elegant breakfast. Highly recommended.

Location is great in a quiet side street just of the main pedestrianised high street and 5 mins from the duomo. Helpful staff and very comfortable rooms. Not cheap but a good choice.

Fantastic design hotel with great atmosphere some unique choice of rooms and quality furnishings and good staff, friendly and helpful. We booked an accomodation and breakfast package which was good value, the breakfasts were excellent with a good choice of pastries, cakes, cereal, ham, cheese, yoghurts with coffee/tea. The location is good but avoid the restaurants and shops near the Duomo and on the Via Dante, which I am sad to say do not offer good value and in some instances very poor customer service(some shops trying to con you out of your change and goods, others it seemed just not interested in serving tourists - Italy needs to get its act together and do more to offer a quality service for tourists, it could learn a lot from countries like Japan and Australia in this regard).

The design of the hotel and rooms was really stylish and unique, yet comfortable. It very "Milan". Coolest bathroom and shower ever. The location couldn't be beat either, in the heart of everything, but tucked away enough to be quiet.

You need to have the keycard inserted into a control panel to turn/keep the electricity on. I assume it's very green, but it led to an annoying situation when my partner left with the key while I was in the shower and the power went out.

The location and the quirky decor.

Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room and not even a complimentary bottle of water. Too hot most days as A.C. was only switched on twice by reception and was not very efficient. The rest of the tIme we opened the windows but were then woken up through the night by bin lorries etc.

The reception staff really made us feel comfortable though we stayed for less than 24 hrs. They were helpful with our luggage, gave excellent recommendations for our meals. Our room was spic n span, the bed sheets were pristine white.The night desk gentlemen( regret, didn't get his name ) was particularly helpful with our early morning cab pick up and arranging a sumptuous breakfast for us.

Guess it is Europe so we were expecting it -the room we stayed in was very stylishly done but rather tiny. It began and ended near the bed.
