Hotel Palazzo Vecchio  

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean, and the location perfect for us.

Breakfast could have been a bit more versatile, e.g. fresh fruits would have been a nice extra (now the only fruits were canned peaches).

Excellent location, just cross a road from the train station. Cleaning and comfort.

I liked the location of the hotel, it is relly close to the raiway station and to the city center, everything is withing walking distance. The room are clean and very nice, the bed is very comfortable, in general i have a very positive impression from his hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The location was great. Very easy to find from Firenze S.M.N. train station, only a 3 minutes walk. The hotel wasn't really in the city center, but Florence isn't that big a city after all, so it was very easy to just walk wherever you want to go. The duomo was only about 5 minutes away by foot. Hotel staff were great, all very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. Great value for money!!

There could have been more variety for breakfast.. but this is basically what i would expect for european standards.

Location near station, staff

For those who travel to Florence by train it is an excellent location - 4 minutes of walk from the station and 7 to 15 minutes of walk to major attraction points in the city. The room was basically clean (except a few hairs on the shower doors), bed was very comfortable and quite large for a single person. The single room was small but, one does not have a sense of being sandwiched into something, just enough space for a solo, while the shower room was quite big. There is enough free space in the minibar to use it as a small fridge. Since windows faced inner yard it was quite all the time. Staff was effective and polite. Breakfast basic, but ok. Free and well working wireless in the room was a nice touch. Very good value for money (I paid 184 eur for three nights)

It's old and sad.

location was great. they were responsive to problems. Front desk was manned 24 hours.

They forgot to clean my room one day, and the cleaning staff was gone by 2 pm. Hotel is noisy, and you can hear adjacent rooms much too easily. No rugs, which probably exacerbates this. Also, a lack of security, as they still use the old-fashioned system where you hand them the key as you leave for the day -- one time I arrived and there was no one at the desk. I waited 5+ mins, then went behind the desk and took my key. Any thief could have done the same.

Hotel was very clean and the service was good. Excellent location. Good value for money

Nice staff & a really good location

The hotel was very convienient for the train and bus stations, also for the centre of Florence. The room was very large with beautiful wooden floors, clean and easily accommodated 3 guests. The bathroom was excelllent. Breakfast was good and served in a large dining room. We would stay again.
