Set on a side street just behind the cathedral, Hotel De Lanzi is near the shops and main monuments of the historic center of Florence. The simply furnished rooms have private bathrooms.
Score from 725 reviews Very good
The Hotel Sempione is ideally located 215 yards from Santa Maria Novella Train Station and a quarter mile from the Fortezza Da Basso Exhibition Centre. Florence Cathedral is a 10-minute walk away.

Only a 5-minute walk from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train Station, Hotel Azzi is in the San Lorenzo district, close to the cathedral and Fortezza da Basso convention center.

I found the double bed way to firm. So much that I a sleepless night
Breakfast was so delicious with good service. I really asked many many doubts to reception but they answered gently(in English). Room service is also very nice.
I opted for a single room, which is well organized but feels like small and packed. That's the only thing i'm not comfort.
Hotel is close to the centre and very clean
Due to the hot ambient when showing the curtain keeps moving and sticks to your back. A door would be much more practical.
Breakfast was well provided and staff helpful
Bath tub equipped, hard bed and low pillow for good sleep
It is close to train station. Average hotel to stay. Nice rooms. You can go by walk to Duomo easily.
Hotel's location Car parking
- The Wi Fi is very weak and sometines totally disolve ! The hotel say it is known situation !! (the hotel say the Wi Fi is standard and not optional - Front desk lady was somewhat impolite and patientless - the room ( for a couple) is small and inconvenient
Room size fantastic, nice to have a balcony, hotel clean
Mattress horrendously hard, must have them made at a monastery. ?. bathroom could do with an update
The location, room and the bathroom is big. It is very near the attractions, market and train station. The room is very spacious and clean.
I like it that the hotel is just 3 minutes away from the train station. The room and the bathroom are comfortable. And the best thing about this hotel is its breakfast where the guests are lavished with a buffet spread.
I don't really like the oldish looking furniture which make the hotel as old as its name "palazzo vecchio" suggests.
Clean comfortable room with a view.(Granddaughter and I were on third floor with balcony view of dome of Duomo.) Loved our tiny, cozy, and spotless room. Excellent breakfast Friendly helpful staff Walking distance to all major sites and old city Walking distance to Marcato Centrale market with fresh reasonably priced food Would stay again in a heart beat
Wi Fi was sometimes not easy to get emails but after the first day it was fine.
very close yo termini railways station clean
very old rooms horrible bed expensive reception crew does't know rome good eanught
WiFi working fine near the city centre and the train station
poor breakfast small room
Excellent location, very close to train station. Accommodating staff
Hotel is dated and bed linens , blankets and towels are old. They are in need of a change.
Central location. Easy walk to Duomo and other sites in Florence. Quality staff. Generous breakfast with real cappuccinos made on the spot!
Even there was a wifi, the connection was so weak! I couldn't use wifi at my room. And the worst thing is Ants. They bited us when we were sleeping. only good one is location.
It' location good helpful staff Neat and clean bathroom
Lack of restaurant breakfast may include some more hot stuff tea coffee maker in room, that's a standard anywhere
This was a stopover for me and I walked very easily from the station late in the evening. The staff were fantastic and so kind. The room was simple but comfortable. Much to do within walking distance. Super breakfast
It was great!
The room was spacious enough to spread out and not feel cramped, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was an elevator and the location was ideal. The front desk staff was helpful and spoke adequate English. Breakfast good.
The pillows:very hard. Lost wifi on last day when the router went out. Could only connect at reception desk. Parking was hard to maneuver but staff helped. Would have liked some fresh fruit @ breakfast.
near firenze train station , very convenient for planning trip in Firenze
Very close to main train station and reasonable price also it has bath tub.
we got very big bedroom with balcony, so we are sooo satisfied. location is also awesome you can find it easliy
One thing , we really uncomfortale was, there was no shower curtains. so it was hard to take a shower.
The location of Palazzo Vecchio is very good (2 min walk to the train station). Breakfast is very good, you can order espresso or cappuccino which is fresh made for you. I highly recommend if you are going to Florence.
The bathroom is abit small, but we can manage.
Nice hotel great location to transport and stores.
