Hotel Palazzo Vecchio  

Hotel was wonderful. Very close to train station and only 5 min walk to city center. Breakfast was great. Rooms immaculate.

Very small parking area which is difficult to drive into.

Every one was friendly and helpful. The site was very helpful to my walking trip.

Location is near to train station which is good for family with kids.

Pricey considered I have stayed in so many hotels with the same price range. Beds are of low quality and bad for your backs. Rooms and bathroom are small with the price paid.

Location for one night! Travel to station and airport.

It was a relatively noisy till midnight becouse of cars and moto'S. Windows are old styled and do not block this sounds of road... It was uncomfortable in the first night)

Large comfortable room, bath, hot water, good location, attentive staff, wonderful breakfast, parking, staff helped us park. clean. air conditioning.

We had a hard time finding the hotel. Very hard! The map on line didn't help, and directions on line didn't help either. Another hotel person called the PV, and found we could get by taking a street usually not for cars, as it was Sunday & no cameras.

The staffs are very kind.

The hotel is just on the left hand side of the railway station. Do not go to the city centre direction. Only few 5 minutes from the railway station.

No sigh near the station, so it's hard to find the right way

Bathroom

The room was small but it has everything you need there. The breakfast is ok too. The staff was nice and helpful. Perfect location if you travel by train - a few minutes by foot from the Santa Maria Novella train station. About 7-10 minutes by foot to the Duomo.

Only one thing. The stairs at the main entrance dont have a rampant, so you have to climb the stairs carrying your suitcase by yourself.

1. Location. The hotel is located 150 meters from the central train station, which makes it really convinient for travellers, for whom Firenze is not the first and not the last stop in Italy. As far as the city is not very big, all places of interest are in walking distanse. 2. the view from the room. We had an amazing view on the cupolas of st Maria del Fiore and San Lorenzo 3. good staff

1. Breakfast is very poor. It's sorta of norma to have poor breakfasts for Italian hotels, but here it's really poor - I'm still sorry for having that sandvich, which I made on absolutly rubber bread. But as far as the hotel is notr expansive one, I can reccomend it. They offer quite OK coffe, and breakfast meal U can take in any cafe around.

Breakfast could be improved. Croissant ain't like the bar ones. Bed was pretty hard, but clean. (Had back pain)
