The location of the hotel was great, in a quieter area but still so close to everything. Complimentary trip to murano is great, do it!!! And from there go to burano, well worth a look, very pretty and lovely bars and restaurants. Thoroughly recommend this hotel!!!
Staff was so great, went way out of their way to help us locate our lost luggage.
Nothing, it was all perfect
Staff were most friendly and very accommodating.
The hotel is situated within a nice piazza. It is also quite central with Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge less than 10 minutes walk away. The size of the room and the shower room in particular was excellent. The staff were friendly and also extremely helpful.
The room we had, room 12, had absolutely no view. The window looked out onto another building which was very close, as you would expect in a city like Venice. However, just to the left of the window outlook there are quite a few air con units (I believe) which did nothing but spoil the already poor view. The hotel does have rooms which look out over the square so future guests may wish to enquire about the outlook the room being assigned to them has. The safe in the room did not work with the keypad, however, the receptionist who tried in vain to get it working offered us the back up key to allow us to keep our valuables safe during our stay. The breakfast choice was reasonable, not excellent, and given that the hotel was classed as 4 star I did expect a little more choice.
The hotel, staff, breakfast, location & everything about our stay was excellent. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Views over the square Friendly staff
the hotel is in a square where during the day has a fresh vegi stall and a couple of other sellers. There are a couple of restaurants, a bar in the square. After about 6pm you will have kids playing football and local families. The hotel was the best on our holiday. The room was huge, we had a wardrobe/dressing room and a large bathroom with a bath. All of the staff were wonderful
Great location. Central & an easy walk to both St Mark's & Rialto without being too busy. Smaller hotel with staff who were really friendly & helpful. Breakfast simple but sufficient. Spacious & clean rooms in typical Venician style. Would recommend.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is close to St Marks and Rialto Bridge
Hotel is old, no lift and lots of Mosquitos in Venice
Location is nice, on a pretty quiet courtyard and convenient to the major sights.
The rooms were pretty sparce and plain, without much decoration or character. The best part of the building was the common area in the hallway, with views to the courtyard.
Very good location Big rooms
The mattress was too hard
You can't beat the location. Right in St Marks Square. Close to everything. Very cool building.
We were on the 3rd floor. Felt a bit claustrophobic and the steps were a killer. Prices in Venice are very high so we probably got what we paid for.
The hotel was very clean, the breakfast food and service was exceptional and the manager made certain that we knew where to go and what to do without getting lost.
Location and room and very helpful staff
Staff so courteous and friendly from the receptionist to the woman who greeted us at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble . Making us feel we were the most important guests there was the icing on the cake! Thank you!!
The fact we were only there for 3 days !!
Spacious, clean rooms. Staff went out of their way to provide a gluten free breakfast. Lovely, shared balcony with view of the square. Fairly quiet location but only 5 mins walk from Rialto Bridge.
Location, room size, breakfast.
Big room - airy and grand Slept 4 comfortablly Central location Friendly front desk Big smart tv in room Good wifi
Small bathroom Breakfast ok but not great
The location and the size of the room.
Junior suite was just one big room with the bathroom upstairs. Not what we were expecting-photos looked as though the junior suite had 2 separate rooms which would've been better for us & our 2 teenage daughters.
Nice traditional feel and good location. Spoil yourself and get a private water taxi to the opposite side of the piazza. Heaps of fun and saves lugging your bags around very hot venice and thousands of people
Bathroom is a little dated, but still nice
Location Building old style Large rooms Service Wifi
They accommodated my injury by placing me in a handicap room following a nasty break to my leg.
I had to cancel 2 of my 3 nights. Even if I had paid the money for a refundable room I still would have lost $1000 no matter what.
The location is great. Away from maddening crowds but only a hop, skip and a jump to everywhere. The immediate locality if great with some bars and restaurants full of locals. The exterior is ok, but little more.
The good reviews appear to be based on the rooms overlooking the square - we were promised one but it was not available on our arrival. I have no idea about value bur I believe there is better in the area. Would I stay in the area again - yes. At this hotel - no.
The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. Breakfast was adequate.
The view from our room.It was very poor over looking a dirty court yard. We had to ask for the complimentary teas and coffee making facilities which should be standard. Milk for cearal was warm , juices were warm and the fruit. All should be served cold. Refils were slow need more staff at breakfast. However they were trying. Very minor improvements but go a long way.
