Really good location, lovely view from room onto piazza/ The room we received was nothing like that advertised - we ordered a double and received a basic 2 bed apartment, not worth the money we'd paid for it in comparison to other places. It was promoted as a boutique hotel, not serviced apartments. |

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Beautiful historic building, very tastefully renovated, in a prime location in the heart of the city, a few steps away from San Lorenzo cathedral, Palazzo Ducale, Piazza De Ferrari... Wonderful spacious rooms, tastefully decorated, high ceilings with great ornamentations, very clean. A few things didn't work in my room (Internet, TV, bidet) despite all the efforts of the staff, but that didn't matter so much as the room itself was outstanding and Genoa is such a wonderful place with so many things to do! |

Room was large and spacious. Clean. View from the view is non-existent. Don't expect much from Breakfast. Location is not the greatest, but it depends on what you wanted to do. Number of keys you will need to get to your room was an interesting experience. It's not a really a hotel, but combination of potential long-term residence. |

This hotel is lovely. It is beautifully appointed without being oppressive. The design/furniture is modern; the building is 18th century. The tension produces a quiet understated elegance that accentuates the best features of the structure, services and location. The Locanda di Palazzo Cicala is 20 paces from the Church of San Lorenzo, a magnificent feature of Genoa's city/seaside. |

The apartment we stayed in was renovated in good taste, a simple design in an historic building, with no expense spared on fixtures and fittings. It was cleaned to a high standard each day. Location is convenient to city centre. No air conditioning in the apartment. Low ceilings caused the apartment to get quite warm and uncomfortable. Lack of kitchen utensils for self catering apartment (e.g. no kettle or pot in which to boil water). |

The style of the hotel was incredible! Loved it! Very good with a computer and free internet in the room. Would love to stay here again. The entrance was a bit anonymous and had trouble finding the reception - small problem though. |

La struttura è davvero apprezzabile in quanto fonde in modo interessante antico e moderno. La posizione è favolosa. Scarsa pulizia della camera e del bagno (sembrava già usato, con capelli nella doccia water e lavabo sporchi), in rapporto al livello di qualità del servizio che ci si aspetta da una struttura del genere. |

La situation de l'hôtel et la très grande gentillesse de l'accueil, le décor original et jeune, de très bon goût,la beauté d'une demeure aristocratique dont les fenêtres donnent sur la cathédrale. Le petit déjeuner frugal, mal organisé et très peu commode sur des tables basses Pour une seule nuit nous avons été logés dans un appartement de trois pièces dans un autre immeuble très beau mais aux escaliers dangereux. Le personnel a porté les valises très gentiment mais c'était peu adapté à notre court séjour. |
