The hotel is excellent - the real palazzo. We were 6 of us (with 2 young children), so we lived in the big flat in another building - former palazzo too. The apartment was big (3 bedrooms), clean and comfortable. Next morning nice woman bring the breakfast in our room in the basket - bread, croissants, prosciutto, cheese, yogurts, jam, orange juices, milk - we didn't eat it whole. The place is right in the centre - cathedral, Porto antico, palace rolli... And after all the woman on reception advised us one cozy restaurant - it was fantastic, one the best Italian food we'd ever eat in Italy.

We rented a catered flat for the Christmas break. The flat is located in the middle of Genova's Old Town, in the palazzo, but it was recently refurbished and decorated with modern furtniture. We prefered our breakfasts were delivered to the flat, which was done on time. The cleaner, who was coming every day, was good and kept place very clean. There is a modern lift, so we had no problems with the baby's buggy. The Residenza have several flats, while photos on the website are from 2 flats only. We were offered a different place first, but when requested were allocated the flat which was advertised on the website. There is no car access to the flat at all, so all luggage and shopping needs to be carried from the parking (min 400m). Parking is paid and very expensive - it cost about 125 euros for 4 days.

We are a family of five traveling by car through Italy. This hotel was an apartment that was spacious and nice. This apartment was in the downtown area. I was pleasantly surprised by the town of Genoa and this area specifically. It was clean and beautiful. The only issue we had was with parking. You have to park in a parking garage which is about a mile away. It was fine, if you packed lightly. Finding the office for this apartment was very hard to find. You can't park anywhere near the office and have to walk down alleys to find it. Don't use the address given to find it. Call ahead and get good directions. Don't be afraid to ask around to find it. It is very hard to find. We really enjoyed the apartment and the area it was in. Location of office is very hard to find. No parking near apartment.

I was very impressed by the Locanda di Palazzo Cicala. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the old center opposite the San Lorenzo cathedral. You can reach everything on foot. The airport shuttle stops close by, so it is easy to get to and from the airport. The hotel itself is in a beautiful old building and has rooms with the original big windows with the traditional Italian shutters and high ceilings with stucco. The rooms are huge with a mix of very modern and antique furniture. Colleagues stayed in the same hotel and all rooms were lovely, but different and individual. My room had a huge double bed, a large table with four chairs, two armchairs and a coffee table plus a large wardrobe. It was equipped with satellite tv, high-speed wireless (working very well), tea/coffee making facilities and even a cd and dvd player. The highlight, however, was a hammock in one corner of the room - perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The hotel is in a very unassuming building in a small alleyway off a main square. Hadn't I arrived by taxi and the driver pointed me in the right direction, I would have had trouble finding it. There is only a small sign next to the entrance, and even once you get insight it is difficult to know where to go unless you spotted the sign outside saying that the reception is on the 1st floor. More sign posts would be handy! The breakfast room is just a niche off the reception area. There are no tables, but rather sofas and small coffee tables where you can sit and have breakfast from the buffet. It had mostly sweet stuff which was not exactly my choice of breakfast, but considering that Italians don't really have breakfast, it was nice to have something (and included in the room rate) at all to get the day started.

It was a fabulous visit to this hotel. The room was so nice, clean and so spacious. It was a wonderful surprise. Lovely interior. If you go to Genova, You just have to stay in this hotel. It is just amazing. It was very hard to find the hotel at first. I already got a Genova city map and I even turned on my google map on iPad but still it was not possible to find it. Fortunately kind people in Genova guided me to the hotel. Except that, everything about this hotel is just perfect.

Posizione : è in centro Si , ho riscontrato molti aspetti negativi.
