Breakfast cost E10 a day on top of the room rate per couple, but it was well worth it. Ask the attendant for a cappuccino or an espresso and he will make one for you and deliver it to your table. Lots of free parking. Quiet and comfortable room.
You can see the hotel from the highway if you come from the north, but the road system from the highway to the hotel is a bit of a challenge. After you do it the first time, and you know what you are doing, it's not bad. Before you go, figure it out on Google Maps or equivalent.
Nice and clean hotel for the decent price with generous breakfast. Staff speaks english well.
Location is somewhat outside the city, but close to motorway. If you decide walking to the city centre might take you half an hour.
Very well located Staff very friendly Breakfast was really good
You have to pay to use the WiFi
The room was clean, comfortable and quiet even though it faced the parking lot. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The shuttle bus at the end of the street was very handy to take us up into Siena and the neighbourhood restaurant had good pizza and entertaining karaoke singers.
The hall carpet was not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel.
Bed was huge and pretty comfortable. View was great!
Breakfast was a bit lacking but not bad If you don't close the windows there are bugs
-CLEAN -PRICE -PLACE
-WIFI WAS A JOKE - NO ENGLISH AT ALL
Room was big...
Room was not clean.(bath room) We have booked that morning, the reason why we didn't make sure very well before we leave, and after we arrived there we asked about service what is including, they saied "breakfrist is included". but we had to pay before left from hotel of breakfast (€7 per person *In italy we can eat very well about breakfast if we pay €7 )... And we asked them why we need to pay, they said "I don't know what my clleague said last night, but you have to make sure yourself." I could understand very well, if we couldn't make sure before arrive, we wouldn't bileave what they said. Thank you for your description, we could uncerstand very well about your hotel.
Unfulfilled pretence. The rate card at the door tried to make us believe that this room "normally" cost 320 euros/night. Ridiculous. We had better rooms in other places for the 50 euros we paid for this "special deal".
Pretty close to old town (5 mins drive)
Bathroom cleanness could have been better
Silence, cleanliness, wonderfull breakfast
Hard to find in those curved and small Italian roads. I suggest the hotel so send detailed map of the region including city center ("historical center"). It is easier to understand its position from the old center than from roads. Parking lot with illumnation not working and pathways not illuminated.
The room was very nice and the staff was pleasant
The bath did not drain while you were taking a shower. The hotel was a little out of the way than I expected. We had to pay for breakfast and when I booked it stated that breakfast was included.
Great location to old town Siena, which was a 4 minute drive to parking lot that had escalators to the old city above. Awesome breakfast and free 24 hour hotel snack, coffee, juice and tea service in the lobby area for guest.
Only one problem, the AC. The AC unit would not come on in our unit after we tried to turn it on during a slightly muggy October evening. This would be a major problem if it was in the summer because the windows didn't have screens to prevent mosquitoes or other insects from flying in.
The location is not ideal but it's not too far from the centre if you don't mind walking. It is in the periphery of the old town, I.e. Not actually in the old town.
Poor breakfast, no hot water some of the time and no water pressure, very worn and poorly maintained bathroom and generally not clean.
Incredibly professional staff! I loved the breakfast area after a night of perfect rest. I appreciated the Ambrogio Lorenzetti’s Good Government frescoes replicas all over the structure.
AREA IT WAS IN IT WAS WALKABLE FOR US INTO SIENA OR JUMP ON BUSES AT END OF ROAD AND SEVERAL CAFES/SHOPS ETC AT END OF ROAD TOO
ORIGINAL BEDROOM HAD BROKEN SHUTTERS AND OVERLOOKED THE MOTORWAY THEY MOVED US STRAIGHT AWAY TO ROOM ON FRONT-NICE FRIENDLY PEOPLE ON RECEPTION-HALLWAY CARPETS NEED REPLACING LOOKING VERY OLD AND DIRTY BUT ROOMS WERE CLEAN
The location is excellent for people with cars. 24/7 free supply of beverages and cookies (big advantage). Staff very friendly and cooperative. Within a short drive from the old city center A couple of good (not too expensive) restaurants.
Stayed on the third floor. For some unknown reason the water pressure was not too high (to say the least).
Room is bright ,public area with tea ,coffee ,leftover bread&cake from breakfast for guest . At least I can get a cup of hot tea in the evening before bed. Plenty of parking .relatively easy to get to city by car.
The noise from highway , cannot leave window open for fresh air as air conditioner is not working properly, room is rather hot, wifi does not work on my room on level 4, it advertised wifi in room but we have to go down to reception area everday to get access to wifi. Staff is impersonal . No kettle in room for hot water.
Friendly staff Big parking Good bed Close to the main road (Florence-Siena) 30 minutes walk from the old town (10 minutes from the bus)
Close to the main road A bit rusty, but the price is fair
There was not much to like about this place other than the fact that it was close to Siena town center.
Hotel was filthy, carpets in the corridors were stained all over. They most probably haven't been cleaned in years . Elevator was as dirty, bathroom not much better. There was not enough hot water for two for the morning shower. The toilet was broken in the first room, they had to give us another room. All and all there are better places for the money. They rate their Hotel with 4 stars but in our opinion it barely makes it with 1 star.
It was in the Siena area.
- shower didn't work - really lousy restaurant recommendation (probably some sort of tie in with staff) - toilet paper bar fell off - too far from internal Siena to walk - used to be a Best Western (which in Italy, it turns out, is a really good thing) - but no longer.
-Comfy -Clean enough -Parking -Free coffee and drinks in the morning -Easy to reach the city center by bus, the buses stop early at night but taxis are not expensive to go back to the hotel.
-No hot water ! Barely warm, we told about it and then were told it was fixed, but it iwasn't. -Room not cleaned although we met the cleaning girl when we left -Bathroom equipment old and in bad state -TV unusable because of it's location, on a desk far and perpendicular from the bed
Air conditioning Breakfast room too hot and difficult To move close to.
Value for money hotel on outskirts. Free coffee, juice etc and cakes in lobby around the clock, which was fine. Breakfast was ok, but be on time as waiter whips everything away at 9.30, on the dot.Only 300 m to bus (nr 54) stop, which takes you into centre in 7 min. And only costs 1.20 euro. A very enjoyable ride on tiny bus.
Terrible wi-fi in room - had to go to lobby, and that wasn't great, either.Wouldn't recommend walking the 3 km into centre, as rather dangerous. Far better by bus (every 15 min.) Definetely not a 4-star hotel, but you get what you pay for.
access from motorway
location is given as 2k from the city center but it is along busy roads part of which does not have a fottpath and the local bus stopped at 8pm which means an evening in the center requires Taxi return
It was pretty far out of town and the bus stops running at 830
