It was like staying in a friend's lovely country house. Our deluxe room was large, well-appointed and with an incredibly beautiful view over the city, no glossy and new but with understated old-world elegance. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Beautiful view, fantastic room, very generous breakfast. The Palazzo is close to the Duomo, markets, shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend it.
close proximity to the market view friendliness and helpfulness of staff cleanliness excellent continental breakfast on-site parking
very difficult to find
the bedroom was eqsuisite, the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast superb! Location excellent.
that we could not stay longer.
Wonderful location in center of Spoleto in the hill town. Very atmospheric old palazzo with high ceilings. Wonderful breakfast.
Despite comments on parking the hotel were very helpful once we arrived and escorted me across town from where I had parked (slightly in despair) to the hotel. An excellent piece of help.
They need to be able to send visitors advice on how to reach hotel and that they can provide parking permits to park nearby. It can be confusing for non-Italians. Google maps doesn't show topography so what appears close may be 100 metres up a hill
staff...very friendly and helpful Location....great
the room was Comfortable but 'dated' in terms of furniture, fixtures and state of repair
The owners are great people and very helpful
Everything. We had the loggia room, loved the view.
Only one very small thing. We traveled by public and walked to the hotel. The signage is very discreet, it is only on a recessed door, it can not be seen from the street.
Beautiful Palazzo with fantastic views of the old town and Cathedral bell tower. We had a grand room with four poster bed and most unusual for Italy a queen sized mattress rather than two singles pushed together. Breakfast room was stunning. It is a very short walk to the cathedral square and castle and aquaduct. Stroll down through the old streets. Ample parking. Highly recommended
The hospitality of the owner and staff, the spectacular views, the superb location, and the charming historic building made for a perfect two night stay. It wasn't long enough!
Location Historic building Staff attitude and helpfulness Free parking Great views from the room
Comfortable room in a quiet location close to the main centre. Great outlook from the breakfast room and great coffee
The Palazzo is a gracious and charming building in the heart of historic Spoleto. Although just the two of us, we had 2 adjoining rooms, and we had the hotel totally to ourselves, so a very special experience. Spoleto is wonderful and this may be the best place to stay.
no wi fi in the main bedroom; fortunately we could get it in the smaller room
