The food is exelence,

Found the hotel easily with 'tomtom' and parked right outside, but there is a valet who will park your car for you as depends when you get there, you are in a very busy street.Hotel is very traditional,with an air of 'old elegance'.Checked in quickly and reseptionist was very pleasant and spoke English.Room was at the back of the hotel, with a very small terrace, but ideal if you wanted to smoke, or sit with a drink.Spacious room, with a sofa, desk, and tv with a couple of English channels which is a big 'plus' in Sicily.Large shower room, with lots of lovely toiletries, big bath towels etc. Extremely quiet hotel, no banging doors!Breakfast was delicious,a large table full of lovely hams, cheeses, breads etc, and then cereals, fruit, yoghurts etc, and the most fantastic pastries, but the best thing was the charming room you ate in, just so lovely to sit and relax first thing.Waiter service for your coffee/tea etc.Loved it! Free WiFi, and mini bar in room.Nice crisp sheets on bed and every night a 'chocolate' would appear from nowhere on the pillow ( nice touch) Small coffee shop/bar/cafe next to the reception which was quaint and we had a couple of drinks in there before we went to eat at the 'sister' restaurant, just across the road.Excellent meal, very well priced. Hotel and staff are just charming.

Absolutely excellent staff (and owner, who gave us a lift one day!). The people at reception and in the bar were always extemely polite, proactive, smiling and really happy to help. The rooms were elegant, comfortable and fully-functioning and the breakfasts copious. One of the best hotels I have stayed in for many a year, largely thanks to the fabulous welcome.

We loved the beautiful old rooms and the excellent bathrooms. The restaurant is superb. The staff were delightful.

Unfortunately the bedrooms can be noisy as the hotel is on a busy corner, but it is well worth staying.

The staff of this hotel was very kind...always taking care of You. The best choice in order to know Modica based in a Palace.

This is a small, beautiful and extraordinarily well-run hotel. Staff was eager to help us in any way, including parking our car (gratis) and then offering to drive us from upper Modica to lower Modica and back. Accomodations run from excellent to luxurious. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous. We ate dinner in the hotel's 'second-tier' restaurant, dal Colonello, and found a fabulous menu and wine list, and all the food expertly prepared. One usually has to choose between Noto and Modica to see a certain quality of Sicilian baroque architecture and decoration. This hotel is one, very good reason to choose Modica. I recommend Palazzo Failla unreservedly.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Kann mich nur zum Frühstücksraum äußern, da wir - leider ohne uns vorher zu informieren, dass das Hotel selbst ausgebucht ist - in der Dependence untergebracht wurden. Das Zimmer dort war nur mit künstlichem Licht zu bewohnen, zwar komfortabel, aber nicht mit dem versprochenen Hotelzimmer ( u.a.mit Balkon) übereinstimmte. Offensichtliche waren wir nicht die ersten Gäste, die diese Erfahrung machen mussten. Schade!

Palazzo antico in zona relativamente centrale. Camera in stile rococò, perfettamente accessoriata (saponi doccia dell'Occitane al profumo di verbena) e molto romantica. Personale efficiente e preparato, con la squisita cortesia tipica della Sicilia. Trattamento da 5 stelle con il prezzo da 3: sicuramente un posto dove trascorrere una lunga vacanza, accuditi e coccolati. Fantastici I cioccolatini della buona notte in cioccolato modicano.

Forse le camere sulla strada sono un po' rumorose, perchè gli infissi sono rigorosamente in stile con l'arredo, ma è ben piccolo difetto, in confronto all'atmosfera di tutto l'albergo

Gentilezza e disponibilità del personale e del proprietario.

Dell'hotel ho apprezzato soprattutto la raffinatezza degli ambienti e la cura dei particolari; inoltre la direzione si avvale di uno staff professionalmente valido e che si rapporta ai clienti con gentilezza e cortesia. La colazione, servita in un ambiente curato e ricercato, non ha deluso le aspettative:proposte di ottima qualità e ben presentate

Il palazzo,ristrutturato con la massima cura fin nel particolare, è dotato di camere arredate con molto gusto, è tutto estremamente pulito. Il servizio in camera è rapido . Il personale, tutto, in particolare la receptionist, è gentilissimo e ti mette a tuo agio fin dal primo momento. La colazione in una bella sala, è ricca e variegata. I signori Failla, proprietari, sono stati gentilissimi e di grande aiuto per organizzare ogni giorno gite anche fuori dai tragitti classici. Consiglierei questo albergo a chi come noi è esigente e vuole trascorrere una vacanza piacevole in una terra indimenticabile
