The hotel is quite, and well located. The bed is fairly confortable. The rooms are spacious enough. High ceilings old but nice if you apreciate that it is 80 years old. There was no one to help with our heavy luggage, and no lift. Thehotel is on the forst floor, and had to carry the luggage myself. The breakfast was very limited and always the same, without a single change .the italian waitress replacing the philippina, was rude, and noisy, I could read it on the faces of all the hotel guests during the 15 minutes breakfast. We wish the philipina waitress didnt have her vacation during our stay. |

magnificent suite in a great location. Amazingly helpful and courteous staff. A very nice experience. It was cold and they were reluctant to turn on the heat. Also the breakfast was not great and the coffee was criminal by Italian standards. Otherwise a palatial hotel with a great staff of friendly helpful folks. |

The suite room was well decorated, cute little balcony next to bed...Spacious room but no carpet on the floor, could be nice to bring your own slippers. For the cost, I'd say it's moderate quality. No bath tub in the Suite room?! Facilities were good though, however it was freezing cold because there was no heating on until 1st Nov. No ventilation in the toilet so it got a bit soggy...then again it might have been worse due to lack of heating. I was actually looking forward to the spa facility (I booked this place solely to make use of it, even bought a new swimsuit at the airport because I forgot to bring one!) but the Spa is a separate shop, it costs 25-35euros per use (if you ask 'do you have any discounts for the hotel visitors') and it only opens from 10am-8pm! Unless you want to give up exploring the lovely city and have a soak, this is completely useless...I didn't go for it at the end so it was very disappointing. |

This was a return visit. Very good location for walking everywhere. Space is beautifully designed. The balcony over the courtyard is a plus. There are a few stairs to negotiate to reach the hotel, so it is better to pack light. An elevator would make it perfect. This is a very minor issue. |

Great location, within a short walk of all galleries and museums etc. The rooms are larger than they appear on the website and are comfortable and well equiped. Bathrooms clean and modern with fresh towels daily. Staff were very helpful and will arrange restaurant and museum reservations. I wish I could have stayed longer! |

An opportunity to enjoy extremely tasteful interiors and amenities in the heart of Florence. Don't be off put by the lowly lit residential nature of the entry. The staff really want to assist you in every way. |

The hotel is walking distance from all the sights in Florence. It is a true boutique hotel with only 9 rooms. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was even more spacious. Staff are friendly and very concerned that guests have everything they need. Breakfast was good and served by a pleasant mother and daughter Filipina team. The room looked into the courtyard and was very quiet. We were given an electronic mosquito zapper, although I didn't see any mozzies. Good wi-fi was provided for 5 euros a day. If you want to stay in a nice room in a palazzo at a reasonable price, this is the place for you. Since it is small, you need to tell taxi drivers the exact street address and they will find it easily. |

The suite had beautiful traditonal decor with large frescos and balcony. The hotel was in a fab location - just 10 minutes to the centre on really quite street next to great bars and restaurants. On the first morning they serve breakfast in your room an the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the first mornig was lovely (lots of choice and served in our room). Thereafter breakfast was extremely basic and served in a small basement room. This was advertised as a spa hotel but the spa was closed for all of August. |

Welcoming by Manager, Room & facilities, breakfast, service Reception was on 1st Floor, couldn't locate attendant on our arrival - there could have been a Notice Board on Ground level, giving directions; or a bell. |

If you don't like noisy streets it's the place for you. Absolutly quiet at night - all the windows look into yard. I came for a couple of days from Rome with no luggage. I'd like to have room shoes and a bathrobe. |

luxurious, the staff was perfect, you feel that you leave in a palace! it is a little bit invisible from the road, because it is on the first floor and it has only a little sign outside of it.it is not for people with disadvantages. |

We had a very good stay at the hotel. The staff is very friendly and had a lot of good ideas to where to go and eat and they also helped us making reservations for the restaurants. The room was very beautiful and tidy and all in all we had a very good stay. The hotel is also located very central to all the sights. |

The room was wonderful, clean, specious and very beautiful. The staff at the reception was very helpful. The location was great. The lady taking care of the breakfast and celaning was at best unfriendly and at worst very rude. |

The room was huge! The bathroom was the largest of our entire 3 week trip :) There are only 9 rooms so there was terrific staff attention. Bonus: Private balcony!! We were totally unsure if we were at the right place (when the cab dropped us off). The labeling was a little confusing... |

The Golden Tower is a luxury boutique hotel with its own spa and wellness centre, set right in Florence’s most exclusive district. Palazzo Strozzi is right next door. |
Hotel Calzaiuoli is situated on the street of the same name which runs through some of Florence's best sights and leads down to the Duomo, just a 2-minute walk away. |
To experience Florence at its best, you must live it as a true Florentine. Staying in a luxurious suite in a Renaissance building is surely going to make the difference. |
Set in the historical heart of Florence, this excellently located hotel is within walking distance of the main sights, and has a rooftop terrace with stunning views over the city. |
