We were upgraded to the suite
very beautiful room. Great shower
Bf was satisfactory, location near duomo, room is beautiful and toilet is big and clean which is the main reason I chose this hotel. Staff are friendly compare to others. A small minimart meters away .
1 . bf was same everyday and items getting lesser by the end of my 6 days stay. 2 . though near duomo but walking path from duomo to hotel is narrow , difficult to walk with big luggage and hotel is on quiet side . 3 . one of our room air con warmer is not working and nobody fix it for our entire stay. My 2 ladies dare not open window as it was too cold and the opposite neighbors can peep in.
The advert for my booking showed a totally different room to the room that we were given. So disappointed and we were mis sold.
location, decor, high ceilings and character features, bathrooms, mini bar was well stocked and reasonably priced.
we moved to a suite after one night, the room was lovely, but no better than we had left only bigger. It had no bath tub as did the double, no bath robe and slippers, which we got in the double, no extra facilities, just bigger and nice decor. Not what i expected but still nice, i was just expecting a few more luxuries, infact we had less. Breakfast ok, but stops at 9.30. Had to pay for wifi in rooms... this really should be standard now a days!
Staff were very helpful and friendly Good sized bathroom and shower
Breakfast was very disappointing
location of the hotel, which is next to the center of the city. historical elements in the room design.
entrance and room windows is/are looking at a very busy street, with considerable traffic, including buses. Finding a parking space for unloading and then uploading is a big problem and stress for somebody who comes with a car. No lift in the building and no porter service - so may be quite a challenge for families with lots of luggage and/or for elderly people, unless you are able to book a room at the first floor
Very helpful staff and a very large, beautiful room. We absolutely loved our stay.
Everything! The location (right in the historical center) The charm of the rooms The friendliness of the staff, nice and helpfull. Special thanks to Marco who went out of his way to accomodate my gluten free végan request. Besides making sure that there was a gluten free végan breakfast available for me, he even found me a list of good végan restaurants and gave us the good advices. Grazie a te Marco!
hot water took a long time to heat up
quality of the rooms were fantastic - a total surprise.
Beautiful high ceilings with ceiling murals Generous sized rooms Clean and modern bathing facilities Small balcony looking over internal courtyard The staff are very courteous and can make some good recommendations for eateries.
Free wifi is only available at reception (pay to use in room) The breakfast area is very small and difficult to move around, the food selection is not extensive but covers basics such as pastries, natural yoghurt, fresh melon (this disappears very fast!), cereal.
Beautiful rooms with frescos painted ceilings, friendly staff, spacious rooms and lovely breakfast in a cosy old style room.
Okay for us but be warned that there are quite a few stairs and no elevators so bringing luggage up four flights can be hard.
Perfect with AC in the room. Large bathroom, rooms was nice and the breakfast was good.
Internet not included in roomprice.
suite was ok, but not the one which was on photo.
staff- lying to us ,that we cannot cancel 1 extra night 7 days in advance, when we finally cancelled it through "bookings", no apologies was given, they were trying to lie constantly. Breakfast was in catacombs. Never cleaned carpet in a rooms.
spacious and comfortable rooms, live the Renaissance. Very nice management.
Great atmosphere very helpful staff lovely and quiet for such a cental location
It's close to everything and yes it still has that "palazzo"-feeling. Our room was a standard one and it was spacious and very nicely decorated and the twin shower was a smash hit! Situated on the more "quite" side of the Dome where the "real" fiorentines lives it makes for a very authentic stay in Florence. Firenze as a city is beautiful and lovely and Palazzo Galletti made our stay even better. Great breakfast and helpful staff!
style of room and location
having to pay for WiFi
AMEX card is not accepted
Not as advertised. We got a suite, but it wasn't the one in the pictures, really not good value for your money. We thought we would have got a room with frescos on the walls, we ended up getting a somewhat unimpressive room. Check out is very early--no flexibility in checking out later. Two flights of stairs to get to the hotel, no elevator. Won't go back.
Central Florence location. Opulence of our room.
Basic breakfast with not enough attention to detail, e.g. some of the boiled eggs were obviously old and the coffee machine did not work.
Beautiful specious room with Frescos.( We paid extra for this room) Location was good. We had a good time in Florance
The nearly 40 steps to reach the hotel without elevator or bell boy. Without any information about this important fact before booking. A sweet girl had to lift our Heavy luggage up and bring it down. Also to the breakfast room were many narrow steps.
Breakfast not good. Even better in a 2 star hotel..
