too difficult to get there

The hotel had a spectacular view and was well situated for visiting the sights in Spoleto. It was beautifully decorated, the breakfast was great and the bath was up to date. We upgraded to a room that was large and had a couch as well as a desk and had wonderful decoratively painted walls, ceiling and furniture. The owner was very helpful with directions, suggestions, and restaurant reservations.

It is a little hard to find. Once we understood that the one lane roads went both way but you had to wait for the light to change for the direction you wanted to go in, we were fine.

We can't speak highly enough of Palazzo Leti. It is a beautiful period residence in a great location; easy walking distance to all the major attractions in Spoleto. It is also a great base for exploring surrounding towns in Umbria by car. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the whole operation runs seamlessly. Our room was large, beautifully furnished, airy and spotlessly clean, with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. We had rented a large car, which was a bit of a challenge to drive in the very narrow streets, but the owner was amazingly helpful, parking it for us each night and turning it around in the tight car park. We are likely to return to Spoleto in the future and would not contemplate staying anywhere else.

This was a beautiful place to stay with a gorgeous view. The garden was lovely. The breakfast buffet was very good. Room was very clean (a little small) and had a great view from window. The owners always went out of their way to be extremely helpful. When we had a problem with a fuse in our car, they immediately called a friend at a repair place to fix it right away. Both the husband and wife are so gracious and nice that we hope to stay there again.

No problems with the hotel but the streets are very narrow and bit harrowing to drive. But the owner made it O.K. by parking the car for us everytime we returned to the hotel.

Nothing other than a bit difficult to find by car

It was an oasis of calm and pampering right on the edge of a beautiful hill town.

A delightful hotel in a beautiful 17th century palazzo. The garden is charming and restful, even though the hotel is in the city centre, and the view from our large, high-ceilinged "superior" room across the valley was stunning. The staff were all most kind and helpful. They also arranged permits for us to park very nearby without extra charge. Our room was immaculately clean, the bath towels sparkling white and soft. Breakfast was delicious and could be taken on the terrace in front of the garden. The hotel is very well positioned for the Duomo and Castle, and for several good restaurants - our favourite was the excellent Osteria Al Bacco Felice just below the Duomo.

There is nothing whatever wrong with the hotel, but its position in the centre of an Umbrian hill-town of course makes it necessary to negotiate several narrow streets to get to it. There is a complicated one way system in Spoleto and none of the street maps we had showed this. There are signs for the Duomo and City Centre which you can follow to get to the hotel. It is best to leave the motorway by the southern exit which is better for getting to the hotel than the northern one.

Good location in our favourite Umbrian town. Spoletto is a great base to explore the area and Palazzo Leti's amazing garden terrace is an amazing place to relax in the early evening if you've had a tiring day. Not all the staff spoke English but they were very helpful.

On reflection it was quite expensive, though I'm not sure how it compares to other hotels in Spoletto (it may be a particularly expensive area of Italy).

Our group of three couples enjoyed very much our stay at the Leti. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, the staff was exceptionally helpful to us and friendly and the location was within walking distance of the important sights of Spoleto. The small outside garden was delightful, and breakfat on the terrace was most enjoyable. The owner went out of his way to helop one of us who had broken his eyeglasses. We would all go back to the Leti on any future trip to the Lei and will recommend it to our friends.

A little bit expensive for our group. Will certainlly seek to stay again but price will be a factor in my decision

ウンブリアの町々をのんびり訪ねるためにスポレート、パラッッツォ　レーティに５泊しました。 非常に感じのよいオーナー夫妻のあたたかいもてなしと、提供される観光情報、案内（列車での旅でしたから、- 周辺の美しい村や雄大な滝などを周遊するタクシーの手配から、街のレストラン情報、予約まで）ですばらしい- ウンブリアの旅となりました。 なにより、パラツッォ　レーティのロケーションが素晴らしく、宿から眺める周囲の眺めの美しさは忘れることができません。 また、部屋も広く美しく快適で、街歩きの疲れを忘れて充分くつろぎました。 スポレートの街も大好きでしたが、それは、この宿と、オーナー夫妻の素晴らしさのおかげだとかんじています- 。 また是非この宿に滞在するためにスポレートに行きたいと思っています。

la salle de bain avec un baignoire

une des deux chambres de même standard et pur le même prix (notamment avec vue, plafond ancien) s'est averée minuscule, la salle de bain idem, froide...

Spoleto diventa ancora più bella potendo usufruire di una camera spaziosa, con vista sulla valle, elegantemente arredata... La doccia idromassaggio poi è fantastica. Il problema del parcheggio infine è relativo perché non si tratta di trovare anche il posto per la macchina (per quello c'è la disponibilità - mai invadente - del proprietario), ma solo di raggiungere la struttura e io ci sono arrivato comodamente con una mercedes c220. Insomma davvero nulla da eccepire.

Meravigliosa residenza nel cuore di Spoleto. Assoluta la gentilezza dei titolari, non così frequente di questi tempi. Abbiamo avuto una camera superior, pur prenotando una standard; bellissima, molto pulita ed arredata con gusto. Ottima e varia la colazione, in un ambiente raccolto ed elegante. In sintesi, l'eccellenza che non mette a disagio...
