This 15th-century building overlooks a Venetian canal, 1500 ft from Piazzale Roma parking lot and airport bus terminal. It offers elegantly decorated rooms and a varied buffet breakfast.
Score from 241 reviews Very good
In Venice's Cannaregio district, La Palazzina Veneziana is on Ponte delle Guglie bridge. This private house has a neo-Gothic design and has been converted into a comfortable guesthouse.
Score from 239 reviews Wonderful
Dating back to the 1400s, the Ca' Dei Polo is next to Tolentini Church and a 5-minute walk from Piazzale Roma, Venice's main bus station. It features a large terrace overlooking the Grand Canal.
Score from 335 reviews Excellent
A restored monastery, Hotel Abbazia is in the quiet Cannaregio district of Venice, 300 ft from Santa Lucia Train Station. The hotel features a large courtyard garden with bar.
Score from 1207 reviews Very good
Friendly convenient, very Venetian in style. Beautiful courtyard entrance. Very peaceful sleep. Quick access from airport bus and off to enjoy the sights.
The building, the decor, the staff, the breakfast and the location all fab.
A good walk from both the train station and bus (to the airport). Many fine restaurants within walking distance too. The breakfaat was quite a surprise. We occupied the room overlooking the courtyard. Lovely quaint hotel. Very attentive staff, too.
Nothing not to like
Breakfast is perfect. Very helpfull and friendly hotel staffs
Stairs to reach the hotel, will be trouble if we bring a big or heavy luggage
Close to the action...central station, vaporetto, parking in Plz. Romana, easy walking to Academia and Santa Croce area.
Nothing to note
The hotel was stunning and right in perfect location . The staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent . Our room was beautiful Would definitely go back !!
Very close to piazzale Roma, you could reach it in 5 minutes. The interior of the hotel looks great and you feel like being in a small palazzo. We had a small room, but it was great for the price. The bath is looking even better than the rest of the room. The wifi is very good and the Dolphine restaurant with a 15 euro fish or meat menu is 2 minutes away.
If was a small missunderstanding with the city tax, normally it would cost 1,75 euros per person, but we were asked 2,5 euros. Finally we sorted it out. As well we asked instead of breakfast to have a box, because we were leaving at 5 o'clock in the morning, but its content was not up at the level of the hotel, I hope they will be improving it.
Good location, beautiful bathroom, delicious breakfast.
Stairs, no lift. Very little room.
Less than 15 mins walk from the train station; breakfast is awesome, especially the hot chocolate and cappuccino! :)
Everything - the location, the room, the lavish breakfast, the ever so helpful staff!
Quiet location near Piazzale Roma and a peaceful canal - but in 2 minutes you're wandering along bustling streets, part of the action. Breakfast is nice, and the staff are very helpful. I'd stay here again.
Rooms are quite small (the photographer did a great job with their lens...)
Great service. We arrived with heavy bags at 10pm and were met at front door and our bags carried up the long flight of stairs to our room and at our 6am departure the same with a bag of warm croissants given to us for our train journey to Milan
The personnel is very friendly and the location is great. Close to P. Roma so we didn’t have to travel much with the baggage.
The dinner room is quite small.
Staff was very accommodating. Only reason location is "good" is simply because it's not right in the heart of the city action however, it was in a great little area that was not touristy with wonderful shops which is what we were looking for.
With no AC, we had to leave the windows open and woke up with numerous bites all over our bodies. Stairs but I have a feeling that would be anywhere in Venice
The owner is great at taking care of the guests. Love the Venetian history and hospitality.
The hotel was easy to find, a short distance from bus stop. Restaurants nearby also, convenient for dinner.
No bedside table. No electrical socket by worktop under window.
Good location before departing on a cruise. Selection of restaurants close by. Only 2 bridges to cross from Piazzale Roma. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff generally.
The steps up to the hotel from street level are hectic. For older guests, this is a mission. The hotel do help a bit. Not ideal. The hotel is difficult to locate as the sign board is a brass plate on the wall! Possibly due to Venetian regulations? Kindly note that the small rooms are very small.
Palazzo odoni was a real surprise, I was worried because it wasn't in the main centre of venice and i was worried the family suite wouldn't be very private from the pictures. The hotel is stunning situated in a quiet street behind an unassuming door that goes into a courtyard, it is close to shops and restaurants and a short walk to the water bus service, the rooms were beautiful and as we were 3 grown adults we had 2 seperate bathrooms and bedrooms joined by a door. The staff were very helpful and very friendly throughout our stay. I couldn't praise this hotel enough breakfast was varied and very nice every morning and I would deffintely recommend, I think it was a brilliant location and less touristy than the San Marco region but easily accessible to all areas of venice. A big thumbs up from us all.
5 minutes from raylway station. a very quiet room, not far from center.
furniture is ramshackle and coffee room is small.
- perfect location near bus, train and boats -real venetian style - romantic ambience - peaceful - very helpful staff who met our every request
Good location for cruise travellers. Good breakfast selection. Staff very helpful.
No lift. Too many stairs to the main reception area. Not ideal for older people.
convenient proximity to vaporetto to visit biennale di architettura and a very pleasant restaurant almost next door to unwind after long hours at the biennale
Great location, beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast, helpful and caring staff. Alessandro went out of his way to assist my friend and me with all the help we needed during our 7 day stay at Palazzo Odoni. I am looking forward to staying there again.
Stairs, but taking into consideration that it is 15th century building, it was ok.
Staff, breakfast, wifi, location
