Palazzo Odoni  

Wow - wonderful wonderful place to stay, right in the heart of Venice, beautiful room, great view, lots of space in the room, clean, comfortable beds, wonderful staff, breakfast rooms are very cosy and classy - the staff member who served breakfast made us beautiful coffee every morning, there are alot of step stairs so if you have knee or hip problems you will find this a challenge...we just saw it as "increasing our fitness", it was worth the climb to the very top of the stairs, the room was so wonderful and they had the air conditioning on for us also. good restaurants close, water taxi's, gondola rides, bakery's, all very close. We only wish we could have stayed longer...we would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel, and Venice!!! We loved Venice.

I stayed at Palazzo Odoni in 2006 and was looking forward to coming back since. It is a beautiful palazzo with individually decorated rooms and authentic furniture/decor. The staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is very good. Most importantly, this hotel gives you this real feel of Venice. We'll definitely be staying there again.

Lovely authentic hotel great location

When we arrived one of the staff/owner hurried down the stairs greeting us warmly and helped with my suitcase, which was much appreciated by me. My husband and I liked the room, which was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable too and great to sleep in after a whole day of walking! The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive, especially at breakfast. The breakfast itself was wonderful with a wide range of foods and was extremely plentiful.

There was nothing we didn't like. We were extremely content with everything.

Very good location and beautifully decorated in the Venetian style. We were given a very warm welcome. Afternoon tea was a nice touch.

The room was a little small but still excellent value for money.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. We had large expectations after reading such fantastic reviews and our expectations were certainly met! The location is great, quiet but close to all sights (while being far enough away), the decor is gorgeous, our room was perfect, with a fantastic spa. I was concerned about the stairs due to one of our group having arthritis, however we were put in the ground floor room and she managed the stairs to the reception easily for a beautiful fresh breakfast. Very classy with attention to detail. Thank you for making our trip to Venice special!

Nice hotel with great staff. The bathrooms were renewed and the bedrooms are well decorated in the for the city dominant style. Everything was clean, too. Fast access to the Rialto bridge and to the bus and train station. I was very positively surprised.

La ubicación es muy interesante si eres propenso a perderte en un laberinto de calles y canales como es Venecia. Está ubicado a 300 m de Piazzale Roma y sólo hay que cruzar dos pequeños puentes para llegar. El desayuno se compone de productos de calidad , las instalaciones son confortables y todo funciona perfectamente. Aunque no da al canal, es fantástico tener ventanas que dan a un espacio abierto por donde entra la luz natural y el sol nada más amanecer.

Hay algo así como 38 escalones muy empinados hasta llegar a la recepción, algo muy habitual en Venecia, por otra parte.

Beautiful 16 th century hotel near train/ bus stations in Venice. Staff extremely helpful. Loved waking up to the smell of fresh croissoints. The courtyard, lit by candles in the evening, was gorgeous!

Quiet, convenient location. Typically venetian decor, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was delicious.

There are quite a few steps up to the Reception and most rooms which might be a little difficult for guests with large suitcases.

the decor and entrance were enchanting. the steps were a few too many after a long walk, but we soon got used to them!

The accommodation was perfectly located close to the railway station so travelling with suitcases was not too difficult. All the staff we had contact with including the owner were most helpful sand hospitable. We had a lovely junior suite which overlooked a courtyard and was perfect for our travels with a teenager. The breakfast was the best we have had in Italy and the made to order coffee and the lemon tarts were a particular highlight.

Very friendly staff. A nice experience compared to regular hotels, since this is like a home. Good breakfast. Staff helped to carry a heavy suitcase since there was no lift.

Alberto was most welcoming and warm and made us feel like we where home. I will always remember his assistance in making sure we where comfortable and he helped us with any questions we had about visiting Venice and where we could have the best meals. We took his advice and fell in love with Venice - The most beautiful city in the world.... We where blessed with beautiful weather to enjoy all the sites.... did lots of shopping in all the beautiful stores throughout all of Venice on our way to all the major landmarks!! Thank you Alberto! Also, since we had a private photography tour of Venice booked very early the next day - they served us a special early breakfast (a partial taste of their delicious breakfast buffet!!). I would have loved to have been able to enjoy their whole breakfast - "Next Time I hope too!" Thank you for everything!

I'm a fun traveller and have stayed at many different hotels around the world. I was very fortunate to spend a night at your hotel. I was so impressed of everything: the reception service, the design of the room , the facilietes, the breakfast prepared for us in advance, due to early flight. In all I was just amazed and I'd like to thank you for that. My son says this was the best hotel he ever visited. I strongly recommend it. Thanks you !!!

Perfect location, clean, and BEAUTIFUL! I was completely in awe of this hotel. I WILL only stay at this hotel from now on with future Venice trips. Great value for the money. Breakfast was good, free wifi, and great location.
