The Hotel Palma was close to the Pompeii site, close to the railway so we could catch the train to Sorrento for the day. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was perfect for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time. If we ever went back to Pompeii we would definitely stay at the Hotel Palma (in fact the manager on learning we were on Honeymoon said we were to bring "all our babies" back next year!!!!!!! ). The rooms were spotless and the view from our balcony across to Mount Vesuvius was spectacular. We drank Lemoncilla on one of our balconies, way into the night! Absolutely no complaints. It is a fab hotel.

The manager was awfull always shouting at staff and not friendly at all. It really did spoil the time there. We were first in a room that smelt of damp, they said it was ok but aventually moved us to a different room which was much better.

Hotel has a very good location, friendly staff. Quality was very high - we booked a room with a hidromassage bath and it was very nice, especially after long walk through Pompei ruins, especially in rainy day it was very relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast has a very wide selection of pasteries ans some fruits. Top floor has a rooftop laisure space (closed in our stay due to early season). Easy to find and locate in city being close to cental square. в отеле есть русскоговорящий персонал.

The hotel was brightly painted in white and nicely furnished with interesting pieces of furniture. The room was a good size for sleeping two adults and two children. It's very near Pompeii station (about 15 stops to Naples) and within easy walking distance to the ruins and the town centre with shops and restaurants (which is good because the ruins shut early in the winter - last admittance at 3pm exit at 5pm). There is a small shop that changes money opposite the hotel which had a much better exchange rate than at the airport. The breakfast buffet had a variety of cakes, pastries, croissants, ham, cheese, cereals and yogurt in a well laid out resturant. We stayed in a smoke free room but it still smelt strongly of cigarettes I think the smell came through the a/c or from the window (which wasn't open). The staff helpfully allowed us to change rooms but the smell reappeared next morning. Beware of the slippery rugs on the floor in the hotel room.

Excellent location for Pompeii excavations, restaurants, shops. Circumvesuviana train stop, to visit the Bay of Naples, within 50mtrs but hotel V.peacefull, relaxed. Only used the restaurant once but enjoyed with attentive service, just ask and it happens. Great views of Mount Vesuvius from pleasent roof top garden. Helpfull staff with travel, visiting advise. No hot breakfast, just hard boiled eggs occasionally. Coffee awfull but just ask for filter or tea, staff most obliging.

Excellent location: across the road from the train station and only 300- 400m from the entrance to the Pompeii archeological site. The evening meal (four course set menu) was outstanding and very reasonably priced. The only disappointment was that the spa area on the roof garden was not in operation but I would definitely stay hear again!

We originally selected this hotel so that we could be close to the train station and ride to the entrance of the the pompeii ruins and we come to find out that it was only a five minute walk from the hotel. The staff was so kind, attentive, and they spoke English. It is behind a church, which in itself is a sight to see, and the street walking towards the entrance of the ruins had outside venders, small stores and food. Parking is a difficult, but the staff even moved the owners car just to get ours in their parking spaces at 11pm at night. As far as safety, I am a worry wort and I felt so comfortable to go take my girls for gelato down the main street and do a little shopping and let my husband nap. I highly highly recommend. They do not have free wi fi in the rooms, but even then, you can use the computer in the lobby for free to use the internet.

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the man on the reception - we got a lot of information and help from him. The hotel has perfect location - close to the ruins and 50 meters from Circumvesuviana train line, which can bring you to Ercolano, Napoli and other interesting places around. Facilities - everything ok.

It was a very pleasant surprise after a long train journey from Rome. Hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and eager to give correct tourist information. The family room we stayed was far beyond our expectations for the money that we spent. Clean room well equipped mini bar, clean bathroom and lots of good things. Tasty cakes and well brewed coffee for breakfast. No hesitation in recommending. Money well spent on a short stay when visiting Pompeii ruins.

The hotel was in an excellent location to visit Pompeii. It is directly opposite the train station which is very convenient. The reception rooms were nice and it was good to be able to use the internet on their computer. The room was a good size and had flat screen TV. The breakfast was pretty terrible. Just seemed to be loads of cakes and not a lot else. Nasty cheapo cornflakes and no strawberry jam. No hot food, had to ask for eggs and they were hard boiled. They did make cappuccinos though if you asked. The room was OK, but no bath, which was needed after walking around the ruins for hours. A bit of noise from the reception.

The hotel staff is the best group of people I have ever encountered. The hotel is small but the do their best to help with any request. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the roof top terrace is very nice. The Jacuzzi was closed on the roof it would have been great to see Mt. Vesuvias from the hot tub at night. Slightly dissapointed.

“Hotel Bellevue Suite is a beautiful hotel located on the Amalfi coast in Italy. Antonio and Thomas were very friendly and helpful. They even will drive you to town. Amalfi is a beautiful area to stay. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recomend it. Driving the Amalfi coast, however can be a bit challenging!” Steven, Upland |
